THE KINGS ARE COMING!

Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and cool (37 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: a beautiful moon, 2 planes, a police officer and a robin! Thank You, Jesus!

This recent (4/21/24) headline, from Politico, got my attention this morning: “Blinken heading back to China, with a threat over military aid to Russia.”

Joshua Posaner reported: “U.S. Secretary pf State Antony Blinken will head to Beijing this week, with a warning for China to curb its technical support for Russia’s military – or else.”

Blinken’s three day trip starting Wednesday comes after the approval of a $61 billion aid package for Ukraine by the U.S. House, and in the midst of fears in Western capitals that Chinese aid to Moscow for manufacturing of military hardware is ramping up.

“We’re prepared to take steps when we believe necessary against firms that … severely undermine security in both Ukraine and Europe,” a State Department official told reporters ahead of Blinken’s trip. We’ve demonstrated our willingness to do so regarding firms from a number of countries, not just China.”

Posaner continued: “Reports have long circulated that China has been sending everything from vehicles to bullet-proof vests to Russia for use in its war against Ukraine, with the dual-use technology having both civilian and military applications. The official said that China’s support means that Moscow has ‘largely reconstituted its defense industrial base, which has an impact not just on the battlefield in Ukraine but poses a larger threat, we believe, to broader European security.” Officials in the U.S. have this month briefed that China is also shipping parts and microchips used for the production of drones, cruise missiles and armored vehicles .”

In Revelation 16:12, that John reported: “And the sixth angel poured out his bowl upon the great river, the Euphrates, and its water was dried up, that the way might be prepared for the kings from the east which, I believe, will include China, North Korea and others. And, before that, I also believe that Russia and her allies, including Iran, will be destroyed by the Lord God Himself, according to the prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39. Sadly, I also believe there is no mention of the U.S. in prophecy which may indicate we have either been destroyed or are no longer a world leader. So, stay tuned, as the above countries rise and fall under the sovereignty of God (Daniel 2:20, 21). And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). TAIWAN RUMORS!

Good morning, blog readers, from clear and cold (27 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw Venus and a plane!

This headline, from Bill Koenig, caught my eye this morning: “Taiwan sounds alarm as 20 Chinese fighter jets and eight warships circle island.”

In the article, Koenig reported: “China has deployed more than 20 fighter jets and eight warships toward Taiwan, the self-ruled island’s defense ministry announced on Wednesday. The Chinese People’s Liberation Army sent 20 military aircraft and eight navy vessels around Taiwan in a 24-hour-window leading up to 6am local time Wednesday, Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense said. Of these, 14 fighter jets crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait – an unofficial boundary that spans over 90 miles wide and is regarded a buffer zone between the island and China.”

And Jesus said to His disciples, in Matthew 24:6, “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of war.” See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.”

You may remember, a while back, I wrote about Russia threatening Ukraine with war and then going to war with Ukraine: a “rumor of war becoming a war.” Could it be we will see history repeating itself between China and Taiwan? I certainly hope not. But, with the world the way it is right now, I wouldn’t be surprised. So, stay tuned, dearly beloved in Christ, and fix your eyes on Jesus (Hebrews 12:2) and keep them there that “whatever may come,” a beautiful song by Jeremy and Adrienne Camp, you and I will report for duty and serve Jesus until He comes.

And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please don’t delay, simply agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). THE PROPHECIES of RCI!

Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and cold (21 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk after a 4-inch snowfall, I saw “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Snowdog” playing in the snow for the third time since Christmas! Thank You, Jesus!

Here are a couple of prophetic headlines that we ought to be concerned about as a nation:

#1. “Extremely concerned: American generals raise alarm over Iran’s tightening ties with Russia, China (Breaking Defense)

#2. Biden Administration’s Jitterbug with Iran’s Regime: When Crime Does Pay – Spectacularly (Gatestone Institute)

In the first article, Agnes Helou reported: “They’re trying to get what they want. They’re trying to replace the West and, moreover, the United States in our access and influence across this crucial continent,” U.S. Africa Command chief Gen. Michael Langley told lawmakers.”

As wars rage in Gaza and Ukraine, senior US military officials sounded the alarm to lawmakers about the renewed relationships between China, Russia and Iran in both the Middle East and Africa, suggesting alliances of geopolitical convenience intertwining the three could threaten America’s position in both regions.

“I’m very concerned about this renewed relationship between Russia, China and Iran,” US Central Command head Gen. Michael Kurilla told a House Armed Services hearing Thursday. What we’re seeing is Iran is reliant on China and Russia is reliant on Iran.”

In the second article, Majid Rafizadeh wrote: “The recent decision to shower Iran, the ‘leading state sponsor of global terrorism,’ with yet another $10 billion in sanctions wavers, ‘freeing up 10 billion elsewhere to spend on terrorism, missiles, nuclear weapons and the repression of Iranian women,’ defies logic and morality.”

And yet, despite all these scary headlines and alliances, the Word of God prophesies that Russia and Iran, at some time in the future, will join forces to attack Israel when she is living in peace (not now), only to be defeated and destroyed by the Lord God Himself, according to Ezekiel 38:18-39:29. Then, at a later time, the so-called “kings from the east” (Revelation 16:12) which will, most likely, include China and the other surviving nations who will be drawn into battle at Megiddo where they will be defeated by the Lord Jesus Christ Who will then set up His kingdom on earth where He will reign, along with the believers in Jesus, I believe (not all Christians do) for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:1-6). Then, there will be “a new heaven and a new earth” for the believers in Jesus for eternity (21:1-22:21). Glory to God! So, in the meantime, let us continue to watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes.
