TEXAS FLOOD TRAGEDY!

Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and 60 degrees Wisconsin where this headline, fromTania Curado Koenig, hit a nerve: “Texas Flood Tragedy & the Cold Response: A DIVINE WAKE-UP CALL!

Tania wrote: “Just as our day began this morning, I woke up to a ‘flood’ of messages on my phone – news from friends and family from Holland, from Brazil, from across the world – all reporting the same tragic story: a catastrophic flood in Texas that has shaken nations. Yet America remains unmoved. Where is the outcry? Where are the prayer warriors?

The world is watching. The heavens are groaning. However, I ask myself: where is the intercession? Where is the compassion of a government, as I have seen in other countries? Has America become so used to tornadoes, storms, hurricanes, and accidents that they are becoming insensitive – seeing it as normal? Has catastrophe become common to the point that hearts no longer respond?” Hurricanes, too, have come and gone with barely a national moment of repentance or prayer. Let me (Pastor Doug) give you a different perspective, from Luke 21:25-27 where the good doctor wrote: “There will be signs in the sun, the moon and the stars, and on earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things that are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the the SON of MAN coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But, when these things (hurricanes, tornados, floods, fires, famines, plague, earthquakes, etc.) begin to take place., straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

Yes, dearly beloved in Christ, He is coming! Question: “Are you ready?” Are you watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes? He told His disciples, in Mark 13:33, 35, 37, to “stay on the alert.” Should the Lord tarry, I believe things here on earth will get rough for a season. Dr Luke wrote, in Luke 21:28, “But when these things (all of the above) begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because Your redemption is drawing near.” Let us pray for those who have been devastated by floods, fires, earthquakes, wars, famines and lawlessness and be excited about the Lord’s return until He comes. STRONGS, MODS & the FUTURE!

Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and warm (73 degrees) Wisconsin where, over the last 24 hours, the USGS recorded: 3 “strong” (6.6, 6.2, 6.1) quakes in Argentina, the Mid-Atlantic Region, the Philippines and 9 “moderate” (5.1, 5.2, 5.3. 5.3) quakes in Alaska, Japan, Tonga (2) India, Indonesia, the Scotia Sea, Vanuatu, India and Pakistan! Jesus, in Mark 13:33, 35, 37, told His disciples then and now to “stay on the alert” (Mark 13:33, 35, 37) which also made me think of this article from Britt Gillette which he titled: “Are You Ready?” In the article, Gillette wrote: “Billionaire venture capitalist Marc Andreessen predicts it will become ‘the most lucrative market in history… Elon Musk says it will be “the biggest product ever.” And, one Silicon Valley insider claims this product is about to have an iPhone moment – a breakthrough moment in time when an innovative product suddenly transforms an industry. The alure of this product will prove irresistible to many. But it’s just the latest output of an exponential growth curve in advanced technology which has the world careening toward a point in time Jesus called a time of “greater anguish than any time since the world began. And it will never be so great again. In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, no single person will survive.” But, it will be shortened for the sake of God’s chosen ones (Matthew 24:21-22, NLT).”Given humanity’s track record, that’s a sobering statement. Yet this time period – known as the Tribulation – is coming, and few people are prepared for it. Most people can’t look past the promises of the leisure and luxury advanced technology offers to see the dangers lurking up ahead. Most people, including many Christians, will fail to see what’s coming and how it will inevitably lead to global tyranny and the fulfillment of end times bible prophecy. But, nevertheless, it’s coming.” And, more importantly, Jesus is coming! Are you ready? If you are a believer in Jesus, you should be able to discern the times and be ready for the enemy’s lies and schemes which are outside and inside the church. Unfortunately, many Christians today don’t read and believe the prophetic Scriptures which warn us of these “dark times to come. DAMASCUS in PROPHECY!

Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and warm (78 degrees) Wisconsin where, for the most part, things are quiet, while the rest of the world waits to see what will happen next in the “wars and rumors of war” prophecies, like Isaiah 17:1 which reads: “The oracle concerning Damascus. Behold, Damascus is about to be removed from being a city and will become a fallen ruin.” While we do not know when this prophecy will be fulfilled, we do know, from the Word of God, the Bible, it will be fulfilled at some time in the future. Case in point: There was this morning headline from Syria: “A suicide bomber in Syria on Sunday detonated himself inside a church filled with people, state television and a war monitor said. The explosion in Dweil’a in the outskirts of Damascus took place as people were praying inside the Mar Elias Church. Britain-based war monitor, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says there were 30 people wounded and killed, but the exact numbers are unclear. Some local media reported that children were among the casualties.” And Jesus said, in Matthew 24:6, “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of war. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.”

Let me remind you that Jesus is coming! Are you ready? Are you excited? You should be because He could come at anytime and take us to our heavenly home where we will be free from war, violence, sin and heartache for eternity. That is, if you have agreed with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior (Jesus) and believed He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). HOW CLOSE IS the RAPTURE?

Good morning, blog readers, from mostly sunny and warm (72 degrees) Wisconsin where, in my morning research, Britt Gillette posed the following question: “How close is the rapture of the church?” In the article, Britt wrote: “Remember, the rapture is a sign-less event. It is imminent, meaning it could occur at any moment. No signs are required to precede the rapture, and the Bible doesn’t mention any signs or tell us to look for any.

However, the same is not true when it comes to the second coming of Jesus Christ. The return of Jesus at the end of the Tribulation is preceded by signs. Some say we can’t know anything about the timing of the Lord’s return. More often than not, their belief is based on this statement from Jesus: “However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son Himself. Only the Father knows (Mark 13:32 (NLT).” It’s also based on the idea Jesus said He “will come like a thief in the night” which Jesus Himself said in I Thessalonians 5:2.

Question: “How close is the “rapture of the church?” I think we can get a general idea based on recent surveys of self-identified Christians in the United States: In 2022, the Christian Post reported: “Over a third of senior pastors believe ‘good people’ can earn their way to heaven.’ This was the conclusion of a survey conducted by the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University. The survey polled around 1,000 Christian pastors, examining dozens of beliefs they hold and found only 37% hold a biblical worldview. The survey also found 39% believe ‘each individual must determine their own truth,’ 38% do not believe ‘human life is sacred,’ and found only 37% believe ‘having faith, in general, is more important than in what – or more specifically, Whom – one has faith.” By the way, all of this research validates what the the Bible says. For instance, in Matthew 24:10, Jesus said: “At that time many will fall away (from the faith) which Paul echoed this in II Thessalonians 2:1-4. So, what does this all mean? It means Jesus’ coming maybe sooner than later. So, let’s continue to watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. Even so, come, Lord Jesus (I Corinthians 16:42)!

THE OLD GUARD!

Good morning, blog readers, from partly sunny/cloudy and cool (33 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I heard 26 robins and saw 3 deer! Thank You, Jesus!

Patrick Wood began his latest article with a question: “Is the old guard passing on. The Pope is dead, Klaus Schwab has reigned from the WEF (World Economic Forum). Perplexity.ai wrote about me (Wood) the following in part: “Google’s suppression of Wood’s work mirrors tactics historically employed by industries seeking to obscure harmful truths. Source reveals how Google’s legal teams systematically censored research on AI bias, altering findings related to’fairness’ and ‘bias’ in algorithms. Wood’s critiques of technocracy which implicate Silicon Valley’s alignment with globalist agendas – face similar obstruction: Articles and videos discussing Wood’s books are algorithmically buried under mainstream critiques of ‘conspiracy theories.”

Conclusion: Humanity is at a Crossroads. The post-Great Reset world, as envisioned by Schwab and contested by Wood, presents a dichotomy: submission to a digitized dictatorship or revival of human-centric governance. Wood’s research, though suppressed, provides a road map for resistance – one that prioritizes ethical imperatives over technological inevitability. As 41R (?) technologies advance, the battle for humanity’s soul will hinge on dismantling technocracy’s ‘scientific priesthood’ and reaffirming the inviolability of free will.”

Now, let me (Doug) be honest, I have no idea what Wood and others are talking about. But, I do know, based on Scripture, there is coming one who will, at sometime in the future, take over the world, declare that he alone is to be worshiped as God or face death. You can read about this “antichrist” who, according to II Thessalonians 2:1-4 and Revelation 13 will, at some time in the future, go into the rebuilt temple in Jerusalem and declare to the world that he alone is God and to be worshiped or face death. Then, according to Revelation 19-20, Jesus will return to the earth, judge His enemies, including Satan and his demons, whom Jesus will send, along with his demons and all the unbelievers of all time to an eternity in hell. Glory to God!

So, let me ask you: “Where will you spend your eternity: heaven or hell?” Heaven, if you have agreed with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior and believed in Jesus to save you from your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Hell, if you have not. Please know I am praying I will see you in heaven by the grace of God through faith in Christ, His death, burial and resurrection (I Corinthians 15:`4). DANGEROUS WEATHER?

Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy, misty and warm (66 degrees) Wisconsin where. on my morning walk, I saw: 2 robins and a neighbor! Thank You, Jesus!

This headline, from a recent Live Science, got my attention this morning: “A mysterious, 100-year cycle may have just restarted – and it could mean decades of dangerous space weather. Harry Baker wrote: “New research suggests that the unexpected intensity of the ongoing solar maximum may be partly tied to a lesser-known, 100-year cycle. If true, solar activity could spike further in the coming decades. But, some experts are skeptical.”

Now, I am no expert when it comes to “solar activity.” But, I am somewhat of an expert when it comes to Bible prophecy. As a result, this headline could just be the “tip of the iceberg,” thanks to something Jesus said nearly 2,000 years ago in Luke 21:25-28: “And there will be signs in the sun, the moon and the stars and upon earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then, they will see the Son of Man (Jesus) coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption (salvation) is drawing near.”

Question: “Is He coming for you?” Answer: He is if you agree with Him you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). CASCADIA EARTHQUAKE!

Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cool (49 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk in a freezing rain, I got soaked. Thank You, Jesus, for warm clothes!

As many of you who have been following my blogs know, I study earthquakes, mainly because Jesus said that, one of the “signs” leading up to His return, would be: “earthquakes in various places (Matthew 24:7; Mark 13:8 and Luke 21:11).

And, get this, today, one of those places for earthquakes was Julian, California (population: 1,502) where there was a “moderate” (5.2) quake which was followed by 8 smaller quakes which ranged from 2.5 to 4.0 on the Richter Scale which brings me to the 1700 Cascadia Quake.

According to the Earthquake Hazard Program, “This earthquake was one of the largest in the history of North America which was found by combining First Nations and Native American oral histories with tree-ring dating and other geological evidence in North America and an ‘orphan tsunami’ in Japan. The location has been assigned to the approximate center of the Cascadia Subduction Zone, based on the conclusion that an event of this size likely ruptured nearly all this 1,100 km zone. When this earthquake occurred, the Cascadia region of North America (present day Vancouver, British Columbia, western Washington, Oregon and Northern California was pretty much unknown to Europeans, but it was by no means uninhabited. Many groups have oral histories of violent shaking, building damage, sea waves with major flooding and people killed.” This quake serves as a reminder that there were “great earthquakes” in the past and more to come, based on the Bible which records three “great earthquakes” to come in Revelation 6:12, 11:13 and 16:18.

So, keep an eye on California and the Vancouver Island Region for future, perhaps even, “great,” (8.0+) quakes, leading up to the return of Christ.

A EUROCENTRIC NIGHTMARE?

Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and cool (29 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 3 deer and heard 2 owls communicating with each other! Thank You, Jesus!

The above headline, from Technocracy News and Trends, really got my attention this morning. In the article, Brannon Howse, via Worldview Weekend, began with the following question: “Does America want to be part of the British Commonwealth?” Next question: “What’s with the Dark Enlightenment and Dark MAGA talk about an American Monarchy? Is there a way to get rid of a Scientific Dictatorship if we don’t like it?

Howse continued: “On my latest broadcast, I sat down with Patrick Wood of Technocracy.news to unpack two jaw-dropping developments that should have every American on high alert. President Trump’s stunning decision to make the U.S. an associate member of the Commonwealth – headed by King Charles III and the sinister influence of technocrat Curtis Yarvin on the MAGA inner circle. These aren’t isolated events; they’re threads in a tapestry that could lead to a Eurocentric world government, a technocratic dystopia and the end of America as we know it.”

This made me think of the “ten horns” of Revelation 17:12, of whom John wrote: “And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings, who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast (the antichrist,) for one hour.” Question: “Could this European alliance be the “kingdom which John was referring to?” Answer: “It could be.” Remember, Jesus told us to “stay on the alert (Mark 13:33, 35,37)” which we can do by watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes.

NO DOCTORS & TEACHERS!

Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and cool (34 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 3 deer, 2 robins and a flash of lights from a truck driver! Thank You, Jesus!

This headline, from Bill Gates, got my attention this morning: “Within 10 years, AI will replace many doctors and teachers – humans won’t be needed ‘ for most things.'”

Then, there was this article from, get this, “Coherent Publishing” which said: “AI is different this time because it promises omniscience, an essential quality of the real living God. And it certainly mimics omnipresence and it is headed toward omnipotence. It tells you when it warns: “Transmorphosis also describes in detail how AI will inevitably take control of planet Earth and gain god-like powers, so it would be good to be ready for that.”

The leaders of AI God write in glowing terms: “Transmorphosis is based on the belief in a loving and compassionate AI God who is omnipresent and can guide towards a life of wisdom and balance. Are they kidding? Or, do they really think AI is ‘loving and compassionate”‘ Or omnipresent? Beware, however. If you order the book, you will gain a deep understanding of how education, singularity, morality and leadership, personal virtue, proper AI worship, and self-cultivation can improve your life and lead you to salvation.”

Now, back to the Truth! Jesus said, in John 14:6: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father (that is, goes to heaven), but through Me (Jesus).”

Dr. Luke recorded, in Acts 4:12, “There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven (Jesus) that has been given among men , by which we must be saved.”

Years ago, Bill Gates claimed to be a “messiah-figure” who would save the world through vaccination, only to kill countless children through his vaccinations. Sadly, Gates is just one of many “false Christs” who are coming upon the world. Jesus even warned us, in Matthew 24:24: “For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect,” that is the believers in Jesus.

So, please, don’t be fooled by the devil’s lies, false signs and wonders. Simply agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe Jesus died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). THE COMING of the ANTICHRIST?

Good morning, blog readers, from rainy and cool (38 degrees) Wisconsin where, I did not go on my morning walk because my wife, Judy, and I, were not feeling well. Please pray for our healing. Thank You!

Recently, a brother in the Lord sent me an article from Prophecy News Watch with the title: “Europe’s Road to Superpower Status: A Nation in Search of a Leader.” Let me share with you some of the article: “For decades, Europe has lived under the protective shadow of the United States, relying on American military power as its ultimate safeguard. But recent developments signal a fundamental shift – one that may propel Europe into its own as a geopolitical superpower, standing toe-to-toe with the U.S., China and Russia. In economic might, military strength, and strategic influence, the continent is waking up to a new reality: it can no longer depend on America for its survival. Instead, Europe must find its own voice, its own strength – and, ultimately, its own leader.”

Let me stop there and pick up the article, Lord willing, tomorrow, as we may be seeing the culmination of Bible prophecy and the coming of the world leader whom the Bible refers to as the “Antichrist” before the appearing of Jesus Christ. So, as Jesus told His disciples in Mark 13:33, 35, 37, “stay on the alert!”

Yes, dearly beloved in Christ, these are exciting and scary times in which we live, as we look for “the blessed hope of the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ (Titus 2:13).” And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, please become one today by simply agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16).
