This headline, from Dr. Joseph Mercola, really got my attention this morning: “Debunking the Monkeypox Scare – A Special Interview with Francis A. Boyle, PhD.” Note: Dr. Boyle is a full professor of law at the University of Illinois.”

Dr. Mercola reports: “We didn’t know, and still to this day if it was an intentional lab leak for the SARS-CoV-2, but it was a lab leak. Anyone who spread that message was vilified, discredited and many, many were de-platformed. Their YouTube channels were taken away, as were Twitter and Facebook accounts. Now, of course, we know that information was true and is accepted widely by even the mainstream media. To the best of my knowledge, we’re not de-platforming people.

We’ve invited Dr. Boyle to join us again today to discuss another attempt at implementing fear into the population, which is the monkeypox. It appears to me that it hasn’t been very effective. People have become conditioned to understand that lies being spread are indeed lies. Nevertheless, I’d like to explore the possibilities this monkeypox is indeed yet another engineered bioweapon.”

Dr. Boyle: “Well, thank you very much doctor, for having me on my best to year listening audience. Before we get to monkeypox, which was the agreed subject of our conversation today, I just wanted to discuss this brand-new biotechnology executive order.”

Dr. Mercola: “Oh yes – that (President) Biden just launched. I won’t go through it all here except it’s a very lengthy executive order. At the end, the Bidenites give it all away, where they say, in Paragraph VII, ‘the purpose of this is to develop and work and promote and implement dual-use research of concern and research involving potentially pandemic and other high-consequence pathogens.” which Webster defines as: “Any agent, especially a micro-organism, able to cause disease.”

Dr. Boyle continues: “Now, let me work that out for you. ‘Dual-use research of concern’ means offensive and then defensive biological warfare weapons.’ And then to try to perfect these weapons with some type of bogus vaccine involving reverse engineering or something like that. Notice, they admit they are going to develop these offensive biological warfare weapons, ‘involving potentially pandemic and other high-consequence pathogens.’ They are going to research and develop more biological warfare weapons like the COVID-19 pandemic that the United States government was involved in.

Dr. Mercola: “Thank you for pointing that out. It seems, ostensibly, that this is in direct violation of the treaty you helped to write in the 80s that prohibits this very action.”

Dr. Boyle: “That is correct, doctor. Right now, they’re (the Biden administration) moving to another world-girdling pandemic along the lines of COVID-19, which as I was the first to blow the whistle on, was clearly an offensive biological weapon.”

Wow! Wow! Wow! So, what do we, as Christians, do about this horrifying possibility? First of all, we are to pray for our leaders (I Timothy 2:1, 2). And, more importantly, that, if they are not believers in Jesus as their Savior, they would become one (verses 3-6). And so, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please, right now, agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Here are some headlines which got my attention this morning:

#1 Biden Administration’s Gift to Russia: Iran Nuke Deal (Gatestone Institute)

#2. Revealed: How Iran took over Syria’s secret missile production operation (Israel Hayom)

#3. North Korea conducts fourth round of missile tests in a week (AP News)

#4. US official (Jake Sullivan): No sign of imminent use of nuclear weapons by Putin (Arutz Sheva)

#5. Russian bombers capable of carrying nukes detected near Finland (Jerusalem Post)

#6. How climate change is rapidly fueling super hurricanes (Washington Post)

In the first article, Majid Rafizadeh reported: “US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has stunningly made it clear to US lawmakers that the Biden administration will not stand in the way of Russia. cashing in on the $10 billion contract as well as Russia-Iran nuclear cooperation.”

In the second article, Yoav Limor wrote: “It has become almost routine: Not a week goes by without some foreign media reporting on an alleged Israeli strike against Syria. … The main objective of these reported attacks is to frustrate Iran’s entrenchment in Syria through the militias it trains and arms, as well as to interdict the weapon shipments to its proxies in the region – chiefly Hezbollah.”

Articles 3-5 contain possible nuclear threats from North Korea and Russia. I find it somewhat interesting and, perhaps prophetic, that all of the countries mentioned in the above articles are also mentioned in future wars which are recorded in Psalm 83, Isaiah 17:1; Ezekiel 38-39 and possibly Revelation 16:12 where North Korea could be, along with China, one of “the kings from the east.”

The sixth article, based on the recent devastation brought about by Hurricane Ian in Florida and other states made me think of Revelation 7:1 where John wrote: “After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth or on the sea or on any tree.” Now, I don’t know about you but, from my perspective, if God has His angels holding back the wind, He can also use them to unleash the wind which Dr. Luke recoded in Luke 21:25-28, a definite sign of the Lord’s imminent return. Yes, dearly beloved in Christ, these are exciting and scary times in which we live. This headline from the September 28th EarthSky got my attention this morning: “Life beyond Earth: A universe of possibilities.”

Paul Scott Anderson posted: “Is there life beyond Earth? Whether elsewhere in our own solar system, or farther out among the exoplanets, that question is still unanswered. But the answers might be getting closer. And many recent discoveries seem to bolster the possibility of extraterrestrial life. September 2022 has been a great illustration, with the announcements of several new tantalizing findings. These include the ocean of Saturn’s moon Enceladus being even more habitable than previously thought, super exoplanets that might be more habitable than Earth, new evidence for a wet and warm early Mars, including many more lakes than first thought, and an ancient ocean.”

“What do I think?” I’m glad you asked. As a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and the Bible as “the whole truth and nothing but the truth,” I believe what God said in Psalm 115:16 (NIV): “The highest heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth He has given to man.” End of story!

And yet, for some reason, known only to God, He occasionally allows Satan to access the third heaven where God is (Job 1, 2; II Corinthians 12:2) and where there will even be a “war between the archangel Michael and his angels and Satan and his angels (Revelation 12:7-9) which will result in the devil being thrown down to the earth where, after he is bound for a thousand years (Revelation 20:2), will lead a final rebellion against Jesus and the saints, only to be thrown into the lake of fire for eternity (Revelation 20:10). Glory to God!

Jesus said: “For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect (Matthew 24:24).” And so, dearly beloved, let us get ready for lots of deception from the devil by putting on the whole armor of God so that we will be able to stand firm against his schemes until Jesus comes (Ephesians 6:10-17). This morning’s headline, from the AP, caught my eye: “People trapped, 2M without power after Ian swamps SW Florida. In the article, Curt Anderson reported: “Hurricane Ian left a path of destruction in southwest Florida, trapping people in flooded homes, damaging the roof of a hospital intensive care unit and knocking out power as it dumped rain across the peninsula yesterday.

When I read the word “destruction,” I thought of Jeremiah 4:20-22a (KJV) where the prophet wrote: “Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled; suddenly are my tents (dwelling places) spoiled, and my curtains in a moment. How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet (war)? For my people are foolish, they have not known me.”

This last line made me think of another headline I saw from Prophecy News Watch: “American Evangelicals Increasingly Confused On Core Biblical Truths.” In the article, John Stone wrote: “Every two years, Ligonier Ministries works with LifeWay Research to evaluate the theological temperature of the American Church. This year’s State of Theology results show that not just Americans, but evangelicals in particular are increasingly muddy on core truths such as the nature and character of God, the reality of human sin, the role of the Church in the world, and the exclusivity and divinity of Jesus Christ.” And, what did the Lord say in the above Scripture? “My people are foolish, they have not known me.” The result: “destruction upon destruction and war.

Now, as I have said before, I am not a prophet. But, I believe God has given me a prophetical voice, solely based on His Word. And, if I am right (and I could be wrong), we will see more frequent and intense destruction and death in this country and around the world by “wars, famines, earthquakes, plagues, lawlessness, persecution, signs in the sun, the moon and the stars and the roaring of the sea and the waves,” as Jesus said we would in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21.

So, if you are not a believer in Jesus, I suggest and plead with you to agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). And Jesus said: “And you will hearing of wars and rumors of war; see that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes.”

Here are a couple of, perhaps prophetic, headlines from this morning’s news:

#1. Reuters: North Korea fires two ballistic missiles ahead of Harris’ visit to South (Korea). Hyonhee Shin writes: “The launch came two days after South Korea and U.S. forces conducted a military drill in waters off the South’s east coast involving an aircraft carrier. On Sunday, North Korea fired another ballistic missile towards the sea off its east coast.”

#2. Gatestone Institute: Biden Has Opened Door to Russian Nuke Strikes. Gordon G. Chang reports: “Russia’s nuclear document is called ‘escalate to deescalate’ or, more appropriately, ‘escalate to win,’ which means threatening or using nukes early in a conventional conflict. Even if Putin is bluffing, most analysts think he is getting what he wants with threats. Biden, for instance, has been cautious and even timid in providing military assistance to a beleaguered Ukraine. Putin has obviously noticed, which is the reason he has been making more such threats.”

And, here’s another one from a recent edition (9/23/22) of the Los Angeles Times: Fault along L.A., Orange County coast could unleash huge (7.8) earthquake on scale of San Andreas, study shows.

Question: “Do you believe Jesus is telling the truth or lying?” Let’s look at the Scriptures and see. First of all, Jesus said, in John 14:6, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.” He also said, of the self-righteous Pharisees, in John 8:44, “You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature; for he is a liar and the father of lies.”

The choice is yours: Jesus or the devil; heaven or hell. Please choose wisely because it counts for eternity. My prayer is that, if you haven’t already done so, you will agree with God you are sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). These headlines really got my attention this morning:

#1. Christian Headlines: “Putin’s Threat of Nuclear Escalation ‘Could B a Reality.'”

#2. Reuters: “Russia issues a new nuclear warning.”

In the first article, Jim Denison reported: “The threat of nuclear weapons is rising if Putin feels ‘cornered.’ Putin confirmed this threat himself when he stated in a national address that he would not hesitate to use nuclear weapons to protect what he claims to be Russian territory, which in his view will soon include areas that are part of the conflict.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that this threat ‘could be a reality.’ White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said “U.S. will respond decisively if Russia uses nuclear weapons.”

In the second article, Linda Noakes wrote: “One of President Vladimir Putin’s allies explicitly raised the specter of a nuclear strike on Ukraine, saying that the U.S.-led military alliance would still stay out of the conflict for fear of a nuclear apocalypse. Dmitry Medvedev, a former president, said Russia had the right to defend itself with nuclear weapons if it is pushed beyond its limits and that this is ‘certainly not a bluff.'”

Let me remind you that Russia is very much an “end-time” player in Bible prophecy, as we see in Ezekiel 38-39, while the U.S. is either “on the sidelines” watching Russia, Iran and a host of other nations invade Israel to “take a spoil” or has been destroyed, perhaps even by a nuclear strike. However, we also know, from the same passage (which I would encourage you to read), the Lord God Himself will come to Israel’s defense and destroy this Russian coalition. Glory to God!

We also know from Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21 and Revelation 6-19 that, during the so-called Seven-Year “Tribulation,” war is a big part of it before Jesus returns to destroy His enemies and bring in His kingdom. And, as I have said before (and I could be wrong), I also believe we may live to see some Bible prophecy fulfilled in our lifetime.

So, what should be our response to this potentially frightening news? I like what Jesus told His disciples then and now in Matthew 28:19, 20: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

These headlines got my attention this morning:

#1. NASA’s asteroid-deflecting DART space craft nears planned impact with its target (Reuters)

#2. Executive Order Advances Biotech-Transhumanist Agenda (Dr. Joseph Mercola)

In the first article, Peter Gorman wrote: “Ten months after launch, NASA’s asteroid-deflecting DART Spacecraft neared a planned impact with its target on Monday in a test of the world’s first planetary defense system, designed to prevent a doomsday collision with Earth. The cube-shaped ‘impactor’, roughly the size of a vending machine with two rectangular solar arrays, was on course to fly into the asteroid Dimorphos, about as large as a football stadium, and self-destruct around 7 p.m. EDT (2300 GMT) some 6.8 million miles (11 million km) from Earth.” Note: Stay tuned to see what the Lord Jesus does with this “experiment.”

In the second article, Dr. Joseph Mercola reported: “September 12, 2022, President Biden signed the ‘Executive Order on Advancing Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing Innovation for a Sustainable, Safe and Secure American Bioeconomy.’ Specified in that order is the development of genetic engineering technologies and techniques ‘to be able to write circuitry for cells and predictably program biology in the same way in which we write software and program computers,’ as well as genetic technologies to ‘unlock the power of biological data’ using ‘computing tools and artificial intelligence. This executive order establishes a fast-tracked pipeline of mRNA shots and other gene therapies that will further the transhumanist agenda to create augmented humans and bring us into a post-human world.'”

Wow! Wow! Wow! Talk about playing God. That made me think back to the old TV program: “The Incredible Hulk” where the lead character, David Banner, would say, “You don’t want to make me angry!” It also made me think of Isaiah 2:17-19; 3:1 where the prophet wrote: “The pride of man will be humbled and the loftiness of men will be abased; and the Lord alone will be exalted in that day, but the idols will completely vanish. Men will go into caves of the rocks and into holes in the ground before the terror of the Lord and the splendor of His majesty. For behold, the Lord God of hosts is going to remove from Jerusalem and Judah both supply and support, the whole supply of bread and the whole supply of water.” Sadly and prophetically, that is happening today, and will continue to happen all around the world, as Jesus reminded us in Matthew 24:7, Mark 13:8 and Luke 21:11.

Yes, dearly beloved in Christ, He is coming for His bride, the church, made up of all those who have been born again (John 3:3) and saved by His grace through faith in Christ, His death, burial and resurrection (Ephesians 2:8, 9; I Corinthians 15:1-4). So, be “on the alert” (Mark 13:33, 35, 37) while watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, simply agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). This sad, but not surprising, headline from the 9/23/22 “Christian Today” got my attention this morning:

“Most evangelicals (66%) see worshiping alone as a valid replacement for going to church.”

In the article, Nicole Alcindor wrote: “For the first time, a biennial survey has found that most Evangelical Christians in the United States believe that worshiping alone or with one’s family can be a valid substitute for going to church, a possible effect of widespread closures during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Let me remind you that, when the church came into being on Pentecost in the first century when “about 3,000” came to faith in Jesus as their Messiah and Savior in response to Peter’s salvation message (Acts 2:1-41), Dr. Luke recorded: “And they (the believers in Jesus) were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer (verse 42).”

Sadly, it wasn’t very long before the writer of Hebrews wrote, in Chapter 10:23-25, “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, nor forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more, as you see the day (Christ’s coming) drawing near.”

And now, according to the above survey, the “some” of Hebrews has now become the “most” in regards to “the assembling together” of the church. Just another sign of the Lord’s return which, sadly, I would have to say, from my own experience, is also not of importance to most evangelical Christians today. How sad. And yet, how prophetical.

As a side note, there was this “rumor of war” headline from yesterday’s FOXNEWS.com: “North Korea fires missile into sea as US aircraft carrier arrives in region.” Andrew Miller reported: “North Korea has tested more than 30 ballistic missiles so far this year, including its first launch of intercontinental ballistic missiles since 2017.”

And so, dearly beloved in Christ, stay tuned and keep your Bible open to Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 to see if what Jesus said would happen, before His return, is happening. And, if it is, continue to watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus, along with your brothers and sisters in Christ, until He comes.

These really sad headlines got my attention this morning:

#1. Recruitment Plummets As Biden Military Becomes Indoctrination Zone (Prophecy News Watch)

#2. Biden Administration Standing Idly By While Iran’s Mullahs Advance to Nuclear Bomb (Gatestone Institute)

In the first article, Dan Hart reported: “The (U.S.) military is struggling mightily to meet their recruitment goals. In August, reports came in that the Army had only ‘recruited about 52% of its goal for fiscal year 2022 and is likely to wind up short by as many as 15,000 recruits.’ Significant shortages in personnel are also being reported by the Air Force and Navy. Meanwhile, Biden’s military leaders continue to flounder in woke ideologies that are being pushed on service members.

In the second article, Majid Rafizadeh wrote: “More than a year and a half of negotiations seems to have benefitted no one except the ruling and Islamist mullahs of Iran. The endless negotiations seem simply to have bought time for the mullahs, so that they could comfortably advance their nuclear program to their highest level ever. Not only has the Biden administration seen no urgency to change its disastrous path, it is actually redoubling efforts for Iran talks, presumably after America’s mid-term election on November 8.”

I hate to say this, but I am thinking our days as a nation are numbered. As I have said before, based on the prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39, Russia and her allies, including Iran, will, at some time in the future, invade Israel “to take a spoil” with only a mild protest from several other nations (which may also include a very weak U.S.). Then, as we read “the rest of the story,” as Paul Harvey would say, the Lord God Himself comes to Israel’s defense and destroys Russia and all her allies. Praise God!

And so, as America continues to flounder as a nation without God and a solid military behind it, we are liable to see war, perhaps even a nuclear war, right here in this country. And, even though I believe in a “pre-trib Rapture of the church,” I also believe we will be around for much tougher times, including persecution for our faith in Christ. Paul, in Ephesians 6:10-13 reminds us: “Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.” As Sabine Baring-Gould wrote: “Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war, with the cross of Jesus going on before.” Lord Jesus, reporting for duty, Doug (9/24/22)

One of the often and overlooked “signs” of the Lord’s return is found in Luke 21:25 and 26 where the good doctor wrote: “And there will be signs in the sun, the moon and the stars, and upon the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.”

As I have said before and written in my latest book, “Birth Pains: An Introduction to Bible Prophecy,” Jesus also described a number of “signs” which would appear, like “birth pains in frequency and intensity” before His coming in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21.

For instance, here’s an interesting and, perhaps prophetical, headline from today’s AccuWeather meteorologist, Nicole LoBiondo: “Hurricane Fiona could be ‘most intense storm on record’ to slam into Atlantic Canada. In the article, Nicole reported: “Days after menacing Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, the Turks and Caicos and other parts of the Caribbean, Fiona is now on a collision course with Atlantic Canada and is poised to become one of the strongest storms on record to impact the easternmost portions of Canada, according to AccuWeather forecasters.”

Jesus also said there would be an increase of more frequent and intense earthquakes in different places. Here’s another interesting and, maybe prophetic, headline with a different twist: “A magnitude 7.6 (‘major”) earthquake rattled Mexico’s Pacific coast on Monday and left at least two people dead in its wake. All I can says is and excuse my English: “Stay tuned; we ain’t seen nothing yet!” And so, dear brothers and sisters in Christ, let us keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, please agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16).
