Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and cool (31 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk under clear skies, I saw the heavens declaring the glory of God (Psalm 19:1) and got a “beep” from a trucker! Thank You, Jesus!

This morning, I would like to talk with you about the stars, not some athlete or movie hero, but the literal stars in the heavens. I don’t know about you, but I like to look at the Word of God to see what God says about them. In Genesis 1:16, I read, “God made the two great lights, the greater light (the sun) to govern the day, and the lesser light (the moon) to govern the night; He made the stars also.” In other words, the stars were created by Him, not by a “Big Bang!”

Secondly, I read, in Genesis 15:5, “And He (God) took him (Abram/ Abraham) outside and said, ‘Now look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them. And He (God) said to him (Abram) ‘So shall your descendants (the Jews) be.'”

Thirdly, I read, in Joel 3:14, 15 which is a reference to the end time “Battle of Armageddon,” where the prophet wrote, “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision. The sun and the moon grow dark and the stars lose their brightness.”

Fourthly and similarly to the previous verse, the Lord Jesus, in Matthew 24:29, in speaking to His disciples about His return to the earth to set up His kingdom, told them that, before His return, there would be the “tribulation,” a seven-year period of time when God will pour out His judgments upon the earth. If you are a Christian, you can read about it in greater detail in Revelation 6-19. Jesus described it, in Matthew 24:21, 22, as “the worst time in human history.” Then, He said: “the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” Then, the Lord Jesus will return to “judge the nations (Matthew 26:31-46) and set up His kingdom on earth. I can’t wait! But, wait I must while watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes.

Dearly beloved, the bottom line is that God created the stars. He also used them to describe the fact that, despite the numerous times man has tried and will continue to try to “wipe Israel out as a nation,” (Psalm 83:4), it will never succeed. And, we also know from the Scriptures (by my count, 89 times) there will be a faithful remnant of Jews who will recognize Jesus as their Messiah and Savior and enter His kingdom on earth when He returns. Glory to God!

And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, time is running out and you don’t want to go through the Tribulation and spend an eternity in hell. So, please, agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16)

Let me conclude with this benediction from Isaiah 60:1, 2: “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the face of the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the Lord will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you.” Blessings, Doug (11/25/22)

Here are two headlines which caught my attention this morning:

#1. Nightmare on G20 Street: Biden Delivers U.S. to a Chinese Social Credit System (Technocracy News & Trends)

#2. Russia fires nuclear warhead-capable cruise missile with ‘dummy payload’ (The Jerusalem Post)

In the first article, the TN Editor wrote: “(President) Biden’s handlers are bent on delivering the United States into the global Technocracy being formed by the United Nations, China, the World Economic Forum and events like the G20 meeting just held. The world is clamoring to implement digital health passports in conjunction with digital IDs, and Biden has completely caved in to the Technocrats.”

The article continues: Joe Biden recently attended the G20 summit in Indonesia. The members of the G20 are: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom, The United States and the European Union. Note: I wouldn’t trust any of the nations or groups listed above.

Sounds to me like we’re heading towards the government of the Antichrist rather than the government of Jesus Christ. See Revelation 13 and see what you think.

In the second article, the Jerusalem Staff reported: “Russia fired a nuclear warhead-capable missile into Ukraine, but instead of a nuclear payload, it was installed with a dummy ‘imitation’ warhead, highlighting dwindling precision missile stocks, according to a report by Ukrainian outlet Defense Express on Friday morning.”

As I have reported before, the Bible speaks of a future Russian-led invasion of Israel to “take a spoil” from the Israelis, only to be destroyed by the Lord God Himself. See for yourself in Ezekiel 38-39.

So, stay tuned and know that we might just see biblical prophecy unfold before our eyes, as we wait for Jesus’ return. Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and cool (26 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk in the dark, I saw: 2 deer a bunny and a jeep! Thank You, Jesus!

Over the last three days, there’s been, to quote Jerry Lee Lewis, “A Whole Lot of Shaking Going On!” As many of you know, I have been studying earthquakes for some time (17 years) because Jesus said “there will be earthquakes in various places” before He returns (Matthew 24:7; Mark 13:8). And, in Luke 21:11, the good doctor quotes Jesus as saying, “There will be great earthquakes” which is fascinating because the USGS lists anything over an 8.0 on the Richter Scale a “great earthquake.” And, if you want to see the result of these, check out Revelation 6:12; 11:13; 16:18.

And so, lately (over the last three days), I have been charting “moderate” (5.0-5.9), “strong” (6.0-6.9) and “major” earthquakes. Here’s what I found: 41 “moderate,” 4 “strong” and 1 “major” earthquake in or near Alaska, Algeria, the Azore Islands, Chile, Fiji, Greece, Guatemala, Indonesia, Japan, the Kermadec Islands, Malta, Mexico, Oregon, Puerto Rico, Russia, the Solomon and South Sandwich Islands, Turkey, the West Chile Rise and Vanuatu. Overall, there have been 46 different earthquakes in 20 different places! Sounds to me a lot like what Jesus said would happen before His return. So, stay tuned and, in my opinion, keep watching for more quakes, especially in the United States. Oh, and by the way, yesterday, there was a “strong” (6.2 ) quake off the Baja California coast which, according to the USGS, was reported around 8:40 a.m., 135 miles southeast of San Diego.”

The following headlines caught my attention this morning:

#1. Earthquakes in different places.

#2. US flies supersonic bombers in response to North Korea’s new ICBM launch (Fox News).

#3. Asteroid hits Canada hours after discovery (EarthSky).

In the first article, according to the USGS, there have been: 16 moderate (5.0-5.6) quakes, 1 strong (6.0) and 1 major (7.0) quake over the last three days in or near 11 different places (Alaska, the Azores, Fiji Islands, Greece, Japan, the Kermadec Islands, Malta, Oregon, the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.

In the second article, Caitlin McFall of Fox News wrote: “The U.S. military responded to recent missile launches from North Korea by flying two supersonic bombers alongside South Korean and Japanese warplanes. North Korea on Friday drew international ire after it test-launched an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of carrying multiple nuclear warheads and with a range that could reach anywhere on the U.S.’s mainland.”

And, in the third article, posted by Kelly Kizer Whitt, she reported: “Astronomers spotted an asteroid just hours before it struck Earth Saturday morning (November 19). This is not the first time this year astronomers have discovered a rock from space just hours before it hit Earth. But this time it entered Earth’s atmosphere over a populated area, crossing the skies of Toronto, Canada.”

Remember, Jesus said, in Matthew 24:6, 7 and Mark 13:7, 8: “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of war and earthquakes in various places.” He also said, in Luke 21:25, 26: “There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.”

But, there’s good news for the believers in Jesus, as He tells us, in Luke 21:27, 28: “Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

Yes, brothers and sisters in Christ, our redemption is drawing nearer and nearer with each passing day. But, for the unbeliever, your judgment is drawing nearer with each day. Good morning, blog readers, from cold, but not very cold (30 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I heard an owl hooting and saw a sliver of the moon and a bunny! Thank You, Jesus!

Over the years, there have been two Jewish temples in Jerusalem. According to Wikipedia, “The First Temple was built in the 10th century BCE/BC, during the reign of Solomon. It stood until 587 BCE/BC when it was destroyed during the Babylonian siege of Jerusalem. According to the Hebrew Bible, the First Temple was likewise destroyed during the reign of Solomon over the United Kingdom of Israel. Almost a century later, the First Temple was replaced in the 10th century BCE, during the reign of Solomon over the United Kingdom of Israel. It stood until around 587 BCE, when it was destroyed during the Babylonian siege of Jerusalem. Almost a century later, the First Temple was replaced by the Second Temple which was built after the Neo-Babylonian Empire was conquered by the Achaemenid Persian Empire. While the Second Temple stood for a longer period of time than the First Temple, it was likewise destroyed during the Roman siege of Jerusalem in 70 CE.”

Even though there is no Jewish Temple in Jerusalem right now, the Word of God (the Bible) tells us that there will be a Third Temple which, I believe (and I could be wrong), will be built as a result of the seven-year “peace treaty” the so-called Antichrist makes with the Jews (Daniel 9:27).Then, I also believe, based on the same verse, the Antichrist will go into the temple, stop the temple sacrifices and declare to the world he alone is God (II Thessalonians 2:3, 4) and to be worshiped, with the death penalty for all those who resist him (Revelation 13). Then, the Lord Jesus will come, defeat the Antichrist and his army and set up His kingdom on earth for 1,000 years (Ezekiel 40-48; Revelation 20:1-7).

Yes, dearly beloved in Christ, He is coming! And yet, before He comes, I believe (and I could be wrong) we will see some things we have never seen before which may even destroy or weaken America. As Jesus said, we need to “stay on the alert” (Mark 13:33, 35, 37) while watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. And, as scary as it might get before Jesus comes, we are to remember what He said to His disciples, then and now: “Do not be afraid” (Matthew 28:10) and lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age.”

Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cold (8 degrees with a wind chill of -4 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk under clear skies, I saw the heavens declaring the glory of God (Psalm 19:1) and 2 deer!

For those of you who are new to Bible prophecy, let me direct you to Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 in the New Testament of the Bible. In all 3 chapters, Jesus gives us “signs” or clues of what will happen in the world before His return, saying, “There will be false Christs, false prophets, famines and earthquakes in various places, wars and rumors of war, an increase in the persecution of Christians and lawlessness, Christians leaving the true faith in Christ and the gospel of the kingdom preached in the whole world.”

Jesus also said these “signs” would come like “birth pains” which means that, as we get closer to His return, the signs, like a pregnancy, will increase in frequency and intensity. Here are a couple of headlines from today’s news which may have prophetical significance:

#1. Iran, Russia sign deal to begin Iranian drone production on Russian soil (The Jerusalem Post). “Why is this prophetical?” Because the prophet Ezekiel, some 2,600 years ago, prophesied of an “end times” war between Russia, Iran and a host of other nations against Israel in Ezekiel 38-39 in which Russia and Iran would be major players.

#2. Is Your Body the Legal Property of Big Pharma? (Dr. Joseph Mercola). This particular article has to do with “transhumanism” which refers to man becoming God. Dr. Mercola wrote: “The political corruption we see today has grown out of a long-term unholy alliance between U.S. intelligence agencies and organized crime syndicates. This intelligence/organized crime ring is setting into place a technocratic form of feudalism, a transhumanist slavery system.

Transhumanism is eugenics rebranded, and the merger of Silicon Valley companies with Big Pharma is eugenics framed as health care. COVID has now shown us that this rebranded form of eugenics can be forced on us,” kind of like the vaccines which are not really vaccines, but “experimental gene therapies” which have killed and injured thousands, perhaps millions, around the world.

Dr Mercola continues: “While transhumanism is sold to us as a way to provide health equity for all, the reality is the complete opposite. Military reports confirm that the emergence of augmented cyborgs will not create unity but rather increase disparities. Unless you’re in an elite class, transhumanism will not benefit you. Instead you’re destined to be a lab rat to help perfect transhumanism tech, as we’re seeing right now with the COVID shots.”

So, how is this Bible prophecy? Because we learn, from the Bible, that Satan was not content to be a “guardian angel of the throne of God; he wanted to be God (Ezekiel 28:13-19). He then tempted Adam and Eve into thinking they could be God (Genesis 3). And, at some time in the future, Satan’s world leader, the Antichrist, will appear and declare that he is God (Revelation 13) and ultimately be destroyed by the Lord Jesus Himself (Revelation 19:11-20:10).

Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cold (16 degrees; 7 with the wind chill) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I did not see any of God’s creatures, but did get a record 2 “beeps” from 2 truck drivers! Thank You, Jesus!

These two headlines from this morning’s news really got my attention:

#1. North Korea launches another ICBM, one of most powerful yet (New York Times)

#2. North Korea’s Kim Jong Un threatens nuclear response to US and allies (The Jerusalem Post)

In the first article, Choe Sang-Hun and Motoko Rich reported: “North Korea on Friday launched its second intercontinental ballistic missile this month and one of its most powerful yet, South Korean and Japanese officials said, pressing ahead with its recent barrage of weapons tests in defiance of admonitions from the United States and its allies. The missile landed in waters west of Hokkaido, Japan’s northernmost island. While it was airborne, the commander of the United States Air Force 35th Fighter Wing ordered all personnel at Misawa Air base in Northern Japan to seek cover, a precautionary measure that underscored rising concern in the region over the North’s brinkmanship.”

In the second article, the Jerusalem Post Staff wrote: “North Korean leader Kim Jung Un pledged to counter US nuclear threats with nuclear weapons as he inspected a test of the country’s new intercontinental ballistic missile, state media KCNA said on Saturday. The isolated country fired an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) toward the East Sea on Friday, the South Korean military said, in protest over the United States’ move to reinforce its ‘extended deterrence’ protection of South Korea and Japan. Attending the site with his daughter and wife, Kim said threats from the United States and its allies pursuing a hostile policy prompted his country to ‘substantially accelerate the bolstering of its overwhelming nuclear deterrence.'”

Let me remind you again, Jesus told His disciples that, before His return, “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of war” (Matthew 24:6; Mark 13:7; Luke 21:9). And, just as Russia’s threats to invade Ukraine turned into war with Ukraine, so is it possible that Kim Jong Un’s threats of war may also turn into war, perhaps even with the United States.

Let me also remind you that, according to Ezekiel 38-39, when Russia and her allies invade Israel to “take a spoil,” no one, not even the United States, come’s to Israel’s defense which means, in my opinion (and I could be wrong), that the U.S. has either been destroyed or weakened. But, the so-called “kings from the east” (perhaps China and North Korea among others, along with the armies of the world will march to Megiddo to participate in, what has been called, “the battle of Armageddon” where they and the other nations of the world will be destroyed by the Lord Himself (Revelation 16:12-16; 19:11-21).

And, while this is “scary stuff,” it is also means Jesus’ coming is that much closer. So, dear soldiers of Christ, let us “put on the full armor of God so that we will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:11, 12).”

Good morning, blog readers, from very windy and cold (21 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk which I cut short because of the wind chill, I saw: a dog!

If you have been following my blog, you will know I have often mentioned the so-called “War of Gog and Magog” which can be found in Ezekiel 38-39 in the Bible. I believe (and I could be wrong) that this war is future and may even take place in our lifetime. In this war, the prophet Ezekiel gives us the very details of the participants. And, though there are some disagreements about them, I have chosen to use Bill Salus’ list from his book, “Nuclear Showdown in Iran.” His list includes: Gog (Vladimir Putin?), the leader of Magog, Rosh, Meshech and Tubal (Russia), Persia (Iran), Cush (Ethiopia), Put (Libya) Gomer (Germany or Turkey) and Beth-Togarmah (Turkey).

So, you might ask, “What or who is the R. T. I. Alliance?” Well it just so happens I have some headlines from today’s news to give you the answer:

#1. “The Russian-Turkish Bond to Harm the West” (Gatestone Institute)

#2. “Officials: Drone that hit Israeli-owned tanker near Oman was launched from IRGC (Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps).”

Hmmm! Russia, Turkey and Iran against Israel! Coincidence or prophecy? Sounds a lot like prophecy to me.

Now, in addition to the countries mentioned in Ezekiel 38:1-6, there are three others which are mentioned in Ezekiel 38:13: “Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish with all its villages (young lions, KJV).” We know that Tarshish is modern-day Spain, but as for “Sheba and Dedan and its villages/young lions, it is not clear. But some prophecy scholars believe they could be Saudi Arabia and Spain, even Great Britain and the United States. However, regardless of who they are, while Russia and her allies are attacking Israel, there is only a “mild protest” from these nations which, to me, means the United States, Israel’s biggest supporter, has either been destroyed or weakened. I hope I am wrong, but fear I am right based on the rapid decline of this country morally, spiritually, militarily and economically.

So, dear brothers and sisters in Christ, let us be ready for tougher times before Jesus comes. But, remember, He is with us always (Matthew 28:20) and our marching orders remain the same: Watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, don’t put it off. Get right with Him today by agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Roman 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Good morning, blog readers, from cold and snowy Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 2 deer (a doe and a rare buck!! Thank You, Jesus!

Now, if you’re like me, you have never heard of Mentone before. It is a small town in Texas (population: 19, as of 2010), about 23 miles south of the New Mexico border and where there was a “moderate” (5.3) earthquake and 10 other smaller quakes measuring: 2.5, 2.6, 2.7, 2.8 (2), 2.9, 3.4, 3.5, 3.8 and 4.1 on the Richter Scale. Stay tuned!

Also, overnight, there were these headlines which may have a prophetical significance:

#4. North Korea Fired a Ballistic Missile as It Warned of ‘Fiercer Military Responses’ to Boost Its Security Presence in the Region with Its Allies, Saying Washington Is Taking a ‘Gamble It Will Regret.’

#5. Russia Launches New Ukrainian Barrage As Grain Deal Is Extended (AP)

And Jesus said, in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 that, before His return, “There will be earthquakes in various places, wars and rumors of war, plagues (perhaps without doctors and nurses to treat them).

Let’s take a closer look at Headline #3. The TN Editor reported: “Medical Technocrats (who have used the mantra: “follow the science”) have succeeded in destroying the medical system in America as a mass exodus of seasoned doctors and nurses flee the industry. This destruction started long before COVID with ‘evidence-based’ medicine where unseen Technocrats dictated treatment for patients they had never seen or cared about. When the COVID plandemic hit, ethical, medical personnel were forced out.

Susan Pace of Medscape said: “I’m a practicing ER nurse of 35 years. The amount of blood clots, strokes, cardiac events like myocarditis/pericarditis, Bell’s Palsy, shingles, etc. that I’ve seen since the vaccine rollout is more than I’ve ever seen in 23.5 years combined. I don’t know how anyone can’t be frightened by what we are seeing. When I try to discuss this with my coworkers, they turn their heads and look downcast, but will rarely speak. I think it’s because like me, they feel betrayed for following the narrative, but unlike me they won’t open their eyes and speak out (they’re afraid for their careers and also scared to death that their bodies are ticking time bombs). It’s easier to ignore than to acknowledge.”

Wow! Wow! Wow! Thank you, Susan, for having the courage to speak out and tell the truth about what’s really going on in the world, this country, our own communities, the government, the military, the CDC, the NIH, the elite and the transhumanists who want to be God, just like their leader, Satan (aka, the devil) who Jesus described, in John 8:44, “a liar, a murderer and the fathers of lies.”

Yes, dearly beloved in Christ, He is coming! And, even though I believe in a “pre-trib rapture of the church, I also believe we are still headed for tougher times and need to be ready, “staying on the alert,” as Jesus told us to in Mark 13:33, 35, 37 which means we are to watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please know your eternity is at stake. If you don’t agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16, you will spend your eternity in hell. Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cold (30 degrees) Wisconsin where, with about an inch or two of snow on the ground, I saw: 6 deer!

This headline, from the November 14th Jerusalem Post, really caught my eye this morning: ‘400 seconds’ to Tel Aviv: Iranian media publishes Hebrew hypersonic missile threat.”

In the article, Tzvi Joffre wrote: “Iran’s Sobh-e-Sadegh newspaper published a threat in Hebrew on its front page on Monday, warning that a new Iranian hypersonic missile could reach Israel in 400 seconds.”

Joffre continued: “An article written by Hamza Pariyab, described as a defense expert, said the new missile was a ‘game changer,’ as it can avoid most modern-day missile-defense systems. The missile could take out a country’s defense systems and open the way for a mass launch of drones and missiles.”

Now, keep in mind that Israel has been attacked numerous times in her history, one of the worst being in 70 A.D. when the Roman general, Titus, and his army, burned down the temple in Jerusalem and killed over a million Jews in the siege and subsequent fighting. Those who survived the attack, were scattered all over the known world at that time. Then, between 1933-1945, there was the “Holocaust” when Adolph Hitler and the German army killed approximately 6 million Jews between 1933-1945. But, in May, 1948, the Jewish people once again became a nation.

Note: I find it interesting that a number of Israel’s enemies in the Bible and even today begin with the letter “H.” They include: Hadad, aka Hadar, Haman, Hamas, Herod, Hitler, Herodias, Hezbollah and, get this, the Hebrew for Satan is hasatan which means “adversary.”

Now, I believe (not all Christians do) that Israel will, at some time in the future, be attacked by her neighbors according to Psalm 83 and by Russia, Iran and a host of other nations (Ezekiel 38-39), both of which I believe (and I could be wrong) we could actually see before Jesus comes. Stay tuned! Oh, and one more Scripture: Jeremiah 31:35-37 where the Lord says, “as long as there is the sun, the moon, the stars and the sea, there will be an Israel.

Sadly, God’s Word tells us, in Zechariah 13:7-9, that, only a third of the Jews will recognize Jesus as their Messiah and Savior and enter His kingdom. Let me ask you, “If Jesus were to come today, would He take you to heaven with Him?” Remember, if you want to go to heaven, you need to agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). And, if you are a believer in Jesus, keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. Blessings, Doug (11/16/22)
