THE RED HEIFER!

Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and cool (60 degrees) Wisconsin where, according to the Prophecy News Watch staff, something “prophetical” may just have to the PNW (Prophecy News Watch) Staff, in an article: “The Red Heifer and the Temple Mount: The Prophetic Clock is Ticking, The PNW staff reported: “Something remarkable and deeply prophetic just happened in Israel. In a quiet but symbolically thunderous event, a heifer was burned in Israel in accordance with the biblical instructions found in Numbers 19 and in the eyes of many devout Jews and watchful Christians, it signals something far greater than the ritual itself; the accelerating movement toward rebuilding the Third Temple.” All I can say is:, quoting Jesus in Mark 13:33, 35, 37, “Stay on the alert!” and keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. Love in Christ, Doug (7/18/25)

ALASKA STRONG! WHAT’s NEXT?

Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cool (56 degrees) Wisconsin where today, according to the USGS, there was a “major” (7.3) earthquake in Alaska which was followed by a “strong” (6.7) quake in Indonesia, a “strong (6.2) quake in Panama and 16 “moderate” (5.0-5.9) quakes in Alaska, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, the Philippines, Spain, Timor Leste and Tonga (2). P. S. No “greats,” but, according to Jesus, like “birth pains,” getting more frequent and intense which means Jesus’ coming is that much closer. Lord willing, tomorrow I will write to you about the dangers of “AI which, I believe, is another “sign of the Lord’s return. As Jesus told His disciples, in Mark 13:33, 35, 37, “Stay on the alert!” Love in Christ, Doug (7/17/25)

MATTHEW 24:1!

Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and cool (58 degrees) Wisconsin where I have decided to do something different for the next month, that is, to take you on a study of Matthew 24, verse by verse, along with the latest, significant, earthquakes which, over the last 24 hours, according to the USGS, included a “strong” (6.7) quake in Indonesia, a “moderate” (5.7 quake) in Guatemala, a “moderate” (5.3) quake in Japan, a “moderate (5.3 quake)” in New Zealand, a “moderate (5.2)” quake in Spain, a “moderate” (5.2) quake in Papua New Guinea, a “moderate” (5.0) quake in Russia and a “moderate” (5.0) quake in Spain. To be continued, Lord willing, tomorrow In Matthew 24:2

Matthew recorded: “Jesus came out from the temple and was going away when His disciples came up to point out the temple buildings to Him.” No big deal, right? Jesus then said something remarkable to the 12 in verse 2. which, Lord willing, we will study tomorrow. So, stay tuned! Praying for your salvation, if you are not a believer in Jesus, and for your sanctification if you are. Love, Doug (7/14/25)

LUKE 21:10,11

Good morning, blog readers, from mostly cloudy and warm (68 degrees) Wisconsin where, in the news this morning, I read of another “sign of the end times,” leading up to the return of Christ: “PLAGUE!” Dr. Luke wrote about this in Luke 21:11, quoting Jesus: “There will be great earthquakes, and in various places plagues and famines; and there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.”

Cara Lynn Shultz reported: “One person has died of the plague in Northern Arizona, health officials confirmed July 11. The person was treated at a local emergency room and died the same day, per NBC News. Coconino County Health and Human Services said the risk of human transmission is “very low.” However, if Jesus said it, I believe it and we’re liable to see more of it, as we get closer to His return. Remember, Jesus also told His disciples, in Mark 13:33, 35, 37, to “be on the alert.”

Yes, dearly beloved, Jesus is coming! How exciting for the believers in Jesus. And, how scary for those who are not. But, you can change that right now by agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). And, if you do, I’ll see you in heaven! Glory to God! Love in Christ, Doug (7/12/25)

MODERATE QUAKES!

Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cool (70 degrees) Wisconsin where I still have not found a safe place to walk but, thanks to the USGS, was able to record 10 quakes in 4 states: 6 in California and 2 each in Alaska and Kansas. Note: There were also 12 “moderate” (5.0-5.7) quakes outside of this country. So, let us “stay on the alert (Mark 13:33, 35, 37)” and keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Love in Christ, Doug (7/11/25)

13 MODS, a STRONG & a FLOOD!

Good morning, blog readers, from partly sunny/cloudy and cool (67 degrees) Wisconsin where, according to today’s USGS Earthquake Report, there was a slight increase in quakes since yesterday: with 13 “moderate” (5.1-5.7) and one “strong (6.3)” earthquake.

Also, of note, were the recent floods in Texas which have been devastating, especially with the deaths of so many children. Interestingly enough and, maybe prophetic, William Vine, in his “Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words,” wrote that “the Greek word for ‘flood’ was kataklusmos (cataclysmic) which, according to Vine, was used of the flood in Noah’s time.’ See also II Peter 3:6.

I personally believe (and I could be wrong) we are living in the “end times” and the return of Christ. And though we may not know the “day or the hour of His return (Mark 13:32), I personally believe we will know the “season of His return,” based on the “signs” Jesus gave us in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. He also told His disciples, then & now, to “stay on the alert.” (Mark 13:33, 35, 37) which we can do by watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. Love in Christ, Doug (7/9/25)

10 MODS & a STRONG!

Good morning, blog readers, from mostly cloudy and warm (64 degrees) Wisconsin where, over the last 24 hours, according to the USGS, there were 10 moderate (5.3-5.6) earthquakes in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Fiji, Indonesia, Japan (2), the Pacific-Antarctic Ridge, Tonga and a “strong” (6.3) quake in New Zealand!

As I have been observing earthquakes over the last (20+) years, I have noticed that the majority of them have been in the “moderate” (5.0-5.9) category. But, remember, Jesus said that the “signs,” including earthquakes, leading up to HIs return would come like “birth pains,” (Matthew 24:8), that is, increasing in frequency and intensity until Jesus comes. And so, dear brothers and sisters in Christ, brothers and sisters in Christ, let us not lose heart. Jesus is still coming! And, when He does, He will judge the nations and usher in His kingdom. So, in the meantime, let us not lose heart, but watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. Love in Him, Doug (7/8/25)

TEXAS FLOOD TRAGEDY!

Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and 60 degrees Wisconsin where this headline, fromTania Curado Koenig, hit a nerve: “Texas Flood Tragedy & the Cold Response: A DIVINE WAKE-UP CALL!

Tania wrote: “Just as our day began this morning, I woke up to a ‘flood’ of messages on my phone – news from friends and family from Holland, from Brazil, from across the world – all reporting the same tragic story: a catastrophic flood in Texas that has shaken nations. Yet America remains unmoved. Where is the outcry? Where are the prayer warriors?

The world is watching. The heavens are groaning. However, I ask myself: where is the intercession? Where is the compassion of a government, as I have seen in other countries? Has America become so used to tornadoes, storms, hurricanes, and accidents that they are becoming insensitive – seeing it as normal? Has catastrophe become common to the point that hearts no longer respond?” Hurricanes, too, have come and gone with barely a national moment of repentance or prayer. Has catastrophe become common to the point that hearts no longer respond?” Headline: “Texas Flash Flood Death Toll Climbs to 67 as Search Continues for 11 Missing Camp Girls.”

Let me (Pastor Doug) give you a different perspective, from Luke 21:25-27 where the good doctor wrote: “There will be signs in the sun, the moon and the stars, and on earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things that are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the the SON of MAN coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But, when these things (hurricanes, tornados, floods, fires, famines, plague, earthquakes, etc.) begin to take place., straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

Yes, dearly beloved in Christ, He is coming! Question: “Are you ready?” Are you watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes? He told His disciples, in Mark 13:33, 35, 37, to “stay on the alert.” Should the Lord tarry, I believe things here on earth will get rough for a season. Dr Luke wrote, in Luke 21:28, “But when these things (all of the above) begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because Your redemption is drawing near.” Let us pray for those who have been devastated by floods, fires, earthquakes, wars, famines and lawlessness and be excited about the Lord’s return until He comes. Thanks, Tania Love in Christ, Doug (7/7/25)

18 MODS & HEAVEN?

Good morning, blog readers, from windy and warm (82 degrees) Wisconsin where, according to the USGS, there was an increase in “moderate” (5.0-5.5) earthquakes from 11 on Sunday to 18 on Monday. Maybe nothing; maybe something. Stay tuned!

Question: “If you were to die today, would you be 100% sure you would go to heaven?” And, if so, “based on what?” You might answer with something like, “I’m a good person!” or, “I was baptized as a baby, go to church regularly, was confirmed and take the sacraments.” And, according to the Bible, you would be wrong because, according to the apostle Paul, in Ephesians 2:8, 9: “For by grace you have been saved (go to heaven) through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

So, please know, I am praying for you and your salvation which is not based on what you have done or do, but, solely, on what Christ has done for you in HIs death, burial and resurrection. Blessings and love in Christ, Doug (7/6/25)

THE MOD SQUAD!

Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and warm (76 degrees) Wisconsin where, over the last 24 hours, according to the USGS, there were: 11 “moderate (5.3-5.6) quakes in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Fiji (2), Japan (4), the Pacific-Antarctic Ridge Region and Tonga! So far this year, I haven’t recorded much earthquake activity in the U.S. and Canada. Remember: Jesus told His disciples, in Mark 13:33, 35, 37, to “stay on the alert” which means that He is coming and, as believers in Him, we should be “watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Him until He comes. Even so, come, Lord Jesus (II Corinthians 16:22)!
