Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cold (25 degrees) Wisconsin where, as I opened the front door to begin my walk, I was greeted by a doe and her two fawns on our front sidewalk! Thank You, Jesus!

This headline, from Dr. Joseph Mercola, caught my eye this morning: “The Most Important Topics of Our Time.”

Dr. Mercola wrote: “Supply chain disruptions causing food and energy shortages appear inevitable, as both industries are being intentionally targeted and dismantled under the guise of combating climate change, and global economic collapse is a mathematical certainty. The economic collapse will usher in programmable central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), which will be used to control your behavior and your health.”

Sound familiar? It should as, over the last two years, worldwide governments, including our own, have paraded all kinds of so-called “experts” before us to control our behavior and health during the pandemic.

Actually, Jesus told His disciples, in Matthew 24:7, Mark 13:8 and Luke 21:10 that, before His return, “there will be famines (food shortages) and earthquakes in various places.” Oh, and one more shortage/famine we are now seeing and will continue to see before Jesus returns. The prophet Amos, in Amos 8:11, wrote these alarming words from the Lord: “Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord God, “when I will send a famine on the land, not a famine of bread or a thirst for water, but rather for hearing the words of the Lord.” Sadly, we are now living in a world and country where there is and, I believe, will continue to be, a “famine of hearing the words of the Lord.”

Dr. Mercola continues: “The globalist cabal (secret society) is also pursuing a one world totalitarian government through the World Health Organization, under the guise of global biosecurity. Inside the transhumanist (you can be God) movement is fusing medicine with Silicon Valley and the national security state. There’s a concerted effort to frame transhumanism – which is really the new eugenics (Webster: “the movement devoted to improving the human species through the control of hereditary factors in mating.”).

All part of Satan’s plan to be “God!” However, we know from God’s Word, he will ultimately fail and be cast into the “lake of fire” for eternity by the Lord Jesus (Revelation 20:10).

Enough to keep us awake at night. But, remember, what Peter told us, in I Peter 3:14, 15, “But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled, but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence.”

Over the last couple of years, I have constantly heard the so-called “experts” tells us the COVID-19 vaccines were “safe and effective.” But, then, over the same period of time, I started to read about and see for myself many of the different and horrifying kinds of reactions to the vaccines, including death, and would often say to my wife, “I wish people could see what I have been seeing. Then, maybe they would think twice about believing the so-called “experts.”

And then, this morning, I received this article from Dr. Joseph Mercola: ‘Anecdotals’ Documentary!” In the article, Dr. Mercola reported: “The film “Anecdotals” provides a glimpse into the lives of people who have suffered significant adverse reactions from COVID-19 shots.

Those who spoke about their shot-related injuries have been shamed, ridiculed and labeled unethical. Those injured by the shots have been largely abandoned by the mainstream medical community; their medical issues have been politicized, while society provides no empathy.

With no programs in place to help those injured by COVID-19 shots, and many doctors afraid to even acknowledge the shot’s connection to patients’ symptoms, many of those harmed have nowhere to turn for help. The film calls for an open dialogue and a movement from humanity to acknowledge the risks of COVID-19 shots, as well as those who are suffering due to them.

People who have been harmed by COVID-19 shots have suffered a range of medical issues – everything from death and permanent disability (see Senator Ron Johnson’s interview with Dr. Joel Walskog) to pericarditis, nerve damage and overwhelming fatigue. While their symptoms vary, they share several common themes: Abandonment, Shame and Hopelessness. Bringing attention to the issue – and to the people whose lives have changed drastically since receiving a COVID-19 shot is the first step to recovery. The film ‘Anecdotals’ does just that, providing a glimpse into the lives of people who have suffered significant adverse reactions from the COVID-19 shots.”

Oh, and one more thought. Did you know that this world, including this country, is rapidly heading towards a one-world economy, a one-world religion and a one-world government under the Antichrist who will, at some time in the future, sign a seven-year “peace treaty” with Israel, break it halfway through, desecrate the rebuilt temple in Jerusalem and declare to the world that he alone is God and to be worshiped (Daniel 9:27; II Thessalonians 2:3, 4; Revelation 13).

Yes, dearly beloved in Christ, He is coming! So, let us continue to watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Him until He comes. Pastor Rick Warren once said: “Bible prophecy is none of our business!” Hmmmm! 30% of Scripture is “none of our business?” Interestingly enough, as I was reading through the Bible, I found three places where God tell us “not to add to or take anything away from His Word (Deuteronomy 4:2; Proverbs 30:5, 6 and Revelation 22:18, 19)” which, get this, God said in the beginning, middle and end of the Bible.

And, one more Scripture of importance: Revelation 19:10 where an angel told the apostle John: “For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” After all, the Old Testament points to the first coming of Christ; the New, to His second coming! William MacDonald, in his “Believer’s Bible Commentary,” wrote: “This means that the true purpose of prophecy is to bear testimony to the Person and work of Jesus.”

For example, God told us, in Ezekiel 38:3-5, 12, that Rosh (Russia) and Persia (Iran) would, along with a host of other nations, invade Israel “to capture spoil and to seize plunder.” Here are a couple of headlines from recent news articles that speak of this future alliance:

This 12/28/22 headline caught my eye this morning: “Jeffrey Sachs: I’m Not Pessimistic for Telling the Truth.” So, if you’re like me, you ask: “Who is Jeffrey Sachs?” Well, let me tell you. According to Dr. Joseph Mercola, “Jeffrey Sachs is a world-renowned economics professor and global leader in sustainable development. So, when he speaks, people who know him not only take note of what he has to say, but take him seriously.

It was quite disturbing, then, for Sachs to learn that key world leaders, including the White House, wouldn’t listen to him when he said it was ill-advised to open NATO to just anyone or to get too involved in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.”

Sachs: “I’ve just never seen anything so reckless and I have no confidence in the U.S. government, no confidence in what we’re doing to head this off, because they’re dead set on, uh, doing whatever it takes to win this for Ukraine, since I don’t think Russia is going to lose this war short of nuclear war. To my mind, we’re on a recipe of continued escalation. This isn’t pessimism, he says. It’s simply acknowledging the truth for what it is. We’re coming ‘closer and closer to the precipice,’ to nuclear war, and if we don’t stop and listen, we may just end up destroying the world.”

Wow! Strong and, maybe even prophetic, words! So, what does the Bible say about this? According to my understanding of Psalm 83 (and I could be wrong), Israel’s Muslim neighbors will, at some time in the future, try to “wipe Israel out as a nation, that the name of Israel be remembered no more (verse 4).” Once Israel has defeated her Muslim neighbors, she will then be living in “the land (Israel), restored by the sword, whose inhabitants have been gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel which had been a continual waste, but its people were brought out from the nations, and they are living securely, all of them.”

Then, Russia, Iran and a host of other nations (Ezekiel 38:1-12) will invade Israel with only a weak protest from other nations which may include the U.S. (verse 13) to “capture spoil and to seize plunder.” And, just when it looks like Israel is doomed (verses 14-17), the Lord God Himself will come to Israel’s defense, destroy her invaders and pour out His Spirit on the Jewish people (38:18-39:29). It is, then, that the Lord Jesus will return to the earth and reign as King (Ezekiel 40-48).

And, as I have said before, we may actually live to see some of these events take place. So, stay tuned, dearly beloved in Christ, and keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. Good morning, blog readers, from icy and cool (26 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk in a freezing rain, I walked softly on the grass and headed for home! Thank You, Jesus, for protecting and getting me safely home!

This headline, from yesterday’s Brighteon, caught my eye this morning: “A job-destroying economic vortex has just been unleashed over America.”

The Brighteon staff reported: “Just as we predicted last year, a wave of layoffs has already begun in early 2023 with large workforce reductions announced across crypto, finance, real estate, transportation and Big Tech. Ongoing money printing by the US Treasury and Federal Reserve is destroying the value of the dollar and causing price inflation in nearly everything that people consume. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, globalists are planning to carry out a kind of global debt reset that would end many fiat currencies and attempt to drive people into Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), which serve as a control and surveillance system for governments.”

Now, to be honest, I don’t understand what all of that means. But, I do know from the Word of God (particularly Daniel 9:26, 27; II Thessalonians 2:3, 4 and Revelation 13), there is coming upon the world a “boastful man” (Daniel 7:11; Revelation 13:5), aka, the Antichrist who will, one day, perhaps even soon, bring a “false peace” to the world, rule over it as “god” and kill all those who do not worship him (Revelation 13).

So, let me ask you a question: “Are you looking for the antichrist and world peace or Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace?” My hope and prayer is that, if you haven’t already done so, you will right now agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Good morning, blog readers, from foggy and cool (30 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: a bunny, a dog and got a “beep” from a truck driver! Thank You, Jesus, for the animals and truck drivers!

This headline, from a recent Live Science, caught my eye this morning: “Why hasn’t ET phoned Earth? Maybe aliens are waiting for the exact right moment.” Stephanie Pappas suggests: “Aliens may be waiting until a cosmic version of ‘high noon’ to send out their signals to us.”

When I read through the Book of Revelation, I’ve notice all kinds of “strange creatures.” For example:

Before the throne (of God) there was, as it were, a sea of glass like crystal; and in the center and around the throne, four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind (Revelation 4:6).

And I (John) saw between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth (5:6).

And I (John) looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, ‘Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing (5:11, 12). John then saw: a white horse (6:2), a red horse (6:4), a black horse (6:5), an ashen horse and he who sat on it had the name “Death; and Hades was following with him. And authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth (6:8). And I (John) looked when He (Jesus) broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood; and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind. And the sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places (6:12-14).” And, in 9:1-4, John saw “a bottomless pit and smoke rising out of the pit, along with “locusts with power like scorpions who were told to hurt only those who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads (the unbelievers).

I don’t know about you, but I am looking for Jesus Who is coming for me to take me to my heavenly home because I have agreed with God I am a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for my sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all my sins and give me eternal life (John 3:16). Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and cool (23 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I did not see any of God’s creatures, but was thankful I still could walk. Thank You, Jesus!

This headline, from yesterday’s Christian Today, got my attention: “Most churchgoers prefer prayer to Bible reading.”

In the article, Leah Marie Ann Klett reported: “Most Protestant churchgoers in the United States spend time alone with God on a daily basis – but most talk to God through prayer rather than listening to Him through His Word,” a new study has found.”

Note: “Just because you are a ‘churchgoer’ does not mean you are a Christian and on your way to heaven. Jesus reminded us of that, in John 14:6, where He said: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father (goes to heaven), but through Me.” In other words, we don’t get to heaven (as some think) by “praying a prayer” or “doing good works,” like getting baptized, confirmed, going to church, taking the sacraments, saying the same prayer over and over again which Jesus called, in Matthew 6:7, “a vain repetition of words”. We know, from God’s Word, that salvation is only by God’s grace through faith in Jesus, His death, burial and resurrection (Ephesians 2:8, 9; I Corinthians 15:1-4).

Whether you realize it or not, we are all in a spiritual battle for “truth.” Dr. Joseph Mercola even wrote about this in his recent (1/9/23) article: “Propaganda Perpetuates the Pandemic and Censorship.” He reports: “COVID-19 is the largest, most sophisticated propaganda operation in history. Psychological techniques were extensively used during 2020 to incite fear and panic in the population. Propaganda strategies were also used to get people to support and defend irrational COVID measures such as masking, isolation, social distancing, lockdowns and jab mandates.

What made the COVID propaganda so much more effective than any previous propaganda operation is the fact that a virus is the perfect enemy. It’s invisible, could be carried by anyone, including those you love the most, and could ‘get’ you anywhere. The Great Lie is possible because the more divorced a lie is from reality, the more likely it is to be received, as most people are reluctant to think that authority figures would lie and completely ignore reality.”

While 45.5 million Americans filed for unemployment due to pandemic lockdowns, 29 new billionaires were created. The five richest men in the U.S. grew their wealth by a total of $107.7 billion between March 18, 2020, and June 17, 2020, alone. Now, as reckless government overreach has destroyed many small businesses and engineered catastrophic unemployment around the world, world leaders are joining the World Economic Forum in calling for a Great Reset of the global economy that will benefit wealthy powerbrokers while enslaving and impoverishing everyone else.”

Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cool (23 degrees) where, on my morning walk, I saw “Goldie” the dog! Thank You, Jesus!

Also, this morning, I learned from the USGS that there was a “major” (7.0) earthquake near Port-Olry, Vanuatu with the possible threat of a tsunami. Stay tuned! And, just so that you know, last year, there were 11 “major” (7.0-7.6) quakes in or near: Fiji (2), Japan, the Loyalty Islands, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, Peru, the Philippines, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu.

I could be wrong, but I believe we are due for some “major” or greater quakes here in the U.S. this year. Stay tuned! Time for worship! So, dearly beloved in Christ, let us (me included) “fix our eyes on Jesus” (Hebrews 12:2) and keep them there throughout the day. This recent headline, from the Gatestone Institute, was right out of Ezekiel 38-39: “No, Iran Nuclear Deal Is Not Yet Dead and Russia Is Helping Iran Go Nuclear!”

In the article, Majid Rafizadeh reported: “Evidently the lethal nuclear deal that will enable Iran to have all the nuclear weapons it wants and missiles with which to deliver them – and for which the Obama and Biden administrations have been pinning for nearly a decade so that, most likely, Iran will not try them out on their watch but wait for somebody else’s – is not yet dead, according to reports from Israeli officials.”

Rafizadeh continued: “Meanwhile the Iranian regime is not only sending drones to Russia to crush Ukraine, but other material as well. By providing weapons to a major power such as Russia, the Iranian regime is asserting itself as a key player enjoying significant military power on the global stage. Finally, we should not dismiss the idea that Russia will also help the Iranian regime to advance its nuclear program.”

Now, let me remind you again of the prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39 where I believe (and I could be wrong) Russia (Rosh) and Iran (Persia) will, at some time in the future, join with a coalition of other nations to invade a defenseless Israel “to take a spoil.” The result: Just when it looks like Israel is doomed and about to be defeated by this massive army, the Lord God Himself comes to her rescue and destroys the invading army. And, if you don’t believe me, read Ezekiel 38 and 39 which, if you don’t know where it is in the Bible, it is in the Old Testament between Lamentations and Daniel.

P.S. I also believe (and I could be wrong) this war will be preceded by a Psalm 83 war between Israel and her Muslim neighbors which we may just see in our lifetime. And so, as believers in Jesus, we are to keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. This morning’s headline from Dr. Joseph Mercola caught my eye: “Sudden Death: The No. 1 Cause of Death for Under 65s in 2021!”

Dr. Mercola wrote: “Mounting evidence shows the COVID shots are destroying people’s immune systems and are triggering turbo-charged cancers. A survey by Steve Kirsch found sudden death is the No. 1 cause of death among those under the age of 65 who got the COVID jab. Myocarditis as a cause of death is now registering across all age ranges but only for the vaccinated. Cardiac-related deaths are also significantly elevated among younger people (under 65) who got the jab compared to their unjabbed peers.

Recent research shows repeated jabs trigger a switch in the types of antibodies your body produces and lower your ability to clear viruses. By switching from spike-specific neutralizing lgG antibodies, your body switches from tumor suppression mode into tumor progression mode.”

Here’s another, perhaps prophetical, headline from the January 1st Jewish News Syndicate: “Hamas event in Jerusalem: Wage jihad to destroy Israel.” See Psalm 83.

Then, there was this headline from today’s news which also got my attention: “Medvedev threatens US with hypersonic cruise missiles, likens US to Nazis.” In the article, Michael Starr of the Jerusalem Post, reported: “Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev threatened the United States of America with hypersonic cruise missiles and compared the American government’s policies to that of Nazis in a Thursday Telegram post in response to a US embassy appeal to Russian citizens for peace. “The main gift of the New Year was the arsenal of Zircon missiles that went yesterday to the shores of the NATO countries,” said Medvedev, an ally of President Vladimir Putin who currently serves as Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council.”

So, “what’s the big deal,” you might ask? Well, from my perspective (and I could be wrong), a Psalm 83 war between Israel and her Muslim neighbors will be followed by a Russian-led invasion of Israel to “take a spoil” which will end up with Russia and her allies being totally destroyed by the Lord God Himself (Ezekiel 38-39). And, it is quite possible we may live to see one or both of these wars. Stay tuned!
