Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cold (15 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 4 deer! Thank You, Jesus!

These most recent headlines were disturbing and perhaps prophetical:

1. Navy suspends work at 4 dry docks over earthquake concerns (Naval Warfare)
2. Cholera death toll passes 1,000 in Malawi as outbreak spreads (Reuters)

In the first article, Justin Katz reported: “The Navy says the facilities are not in any immediate risk, but 100 experts will evaluate the dry docks for necessary mitigation measures moving forward. The U.S. Navy said today it is suspending repair work at four dry docks in Washington state due to concerns about the facilities’ ability to withstand seismic activities.” Question: “What seismic activities?”

Miles Bodmer and Doug Toomey of the University of Oregon explain: “The Pacific Northwest is known for many things – its beer, its music, its mythical large-footed creatures. Most people don’t associate it with earthquakes, but they should. It’s home to the Cascadia megathrust fault that runs 600 miles from Northern California up to Vancouver Island in Canada, spanning several major metropolitan areas including Seattle and Portland, Oregon.” Stay tuned!

In the second article, the Reuters staff wrote: “The death toll from a cholera outbreak in Malawi has passed 1,000 while cases have risen to 30,621, the highest on record in the country, Health Minister Khumbize Chiponda said on Wednesday. Cholera regularly hits the southern Africa country during rains from November to March, but there was an unusually high surge in contaminations during and after the festive season. The usual annual death toll is around 100.”

And, speaking of “pestilence,” there was also this pathetic headline from the “Defender” – “Bill Gates – After Reaping Huge Profits Selling BioNTech Shares – Trashes Effectiveness of COVID Vaccines. Dr. Michael Nevradakis wrote: “Bill Gates, long recognized as one of the world’s foremost proponents of vaccines, raised some eyebrows at a recent talk in Australia when he admitted there are ‘problems’ with current COVID-19 vaccines. Those of you who read my book, “Birth Pains: An Introduction to Bible Prophecy,” may remember that Mr. Gates once considered himself a “messiah-figure” who would save the world through vaccination.

And Jesus said to His disciples, in Matthew 24:4,5 “See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My Name, saying, ‘I am the Christ (Messiah), and will mislead many.'” Jesus also warned His disciples about “earthquakes in various places and pestilences,” all of which I have written about and are occurring today. Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cold (9 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I did not see any of God’s creatures, but was thankful to God I was able to walk and keep warm in the cold!

This headline, from Brighteon, really got my attention this morning:: “Red alert on tanks for Ukraine.”

In the article, the Brighteon staff reported: “Germany and the USA have declared they will provide main battle tanks to Ukraine, causing an escalation with Russia that will almost certainly lead to World War III and the likely use of nuclear weapons.” Stay tuned!

And, over the last week (1/20-1/27/23), there have been: 3 “strong” (6.8, 6.4 and 6.0) earthquakes in Argentina (2), the Kermadec Island Region and 32 “moderate” (5.0-5.9) quakes in or near: Alaska, Cabo Verde, China, Fiji, Greece, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Kermadec Islands Region, Malta, the Molucca Sea, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, the Reykjanes Islands Region (2), the South Sandwich Islands Region, Tonga and the West Indian-Antarctic Ridge Region. And also of note, there was a “light” (4.2) quake near Malibu (population: 12,645, as of 2010) and Los Angeles, California (population: 3,792, 621, as of 2010) which was followed by 3 aftershocks (3.6, 2.9, 2.8).

And Jesus said: “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars and earthquakes in various places (Matthew 24:6, 7; Mark 13:7, 8; Luke 21:9, 11). So, stay tuned, dear brothers and sisters in Christ while watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes.

And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, time is running out! So, please, agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16)! These two headlines got my attention this morning:

#1. “Doomsday clock advances to 90 seconds to midnight – the closest to apocalypse it’s ever been (LIVESCIENCE)!”

#2. “Critical infrastructure around the world now falling apart (Brighteon)!”

In the first article, the LIVE SCIENCE staff reported that “the advance of the so-called “Doomsday Clock was now the closest it has ever been to ‘apocalypse’ since it was created by atomic scientists 76 years ago.”

In the second article, the Brighteon staff wrote: “Just this morning the New York Stock Exchange cratered and went offline. Yesterday Pakistan’s entire national power grid collapsed, leaving 200+ million people without power. Last week, the FAA’s air notice system crashed, grounding all commercial flights across America. The infrastructure is crumbling, and even banks are reporting frequent outages, missing funds and failed transfers.”

Question: Coincidence? Bad luck or Bible prophecy? The apostle Paul gives us some clues in Colossians 1:15-17, saying of the Lord Jesus Christ, “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.”

William MacDonald, in his “Believer’s Bible Commentary,” explains: “Not only did the Lord Jesus exist before there was any creation, but in Him all things consist (hold together, NASB). This means that He is the Sustainer of the universe and the source of its perpetual motion. He controls the stars and the sun and the moon. Even while He was here on earth He was the One who was controlling the laws by which our universe functions in an orderly manner.”

Dr. Luke, in Acts 18:30, 31, wrote: “Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world through a Man (the Lord Jesus) Whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead.”

I certainly believe, based on the previous verses above and the other verses below, the Judge (the Lord Jesus Christ) is coming to judge the world. And, as a result, there will be all kinds of terrible things happening on the earth (intense hurricanes, tornados, great (8.0+) earthquakes, floods, fires, pestilences, famines, signs in the sun, the moon and the stars (Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21, Revelation 6-19), some of which, I believe, we could actually see in our lifetime.

So, dearly beloved in Christ, let us put our armor on and get ready for battle, as we fight against our enemy, the devil and his demons until Jesus comes for us. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please, agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). This morning’s headline from Dr. Joseph Mercola got my attention: “Globalist Cabal Meets Again to Prepare for World Domination.”

In the article, Dr. Mercola reported: “Attendees at the exclusive 2023 World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Davos Switzerland, included FBI director Chris Wray, M16 chief Richard Moore, Secretary-General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg, the CEOs of Amazon, BlackRock and Pfizer, Gates Foundation executives, Cybernetics School director Genevieve Bell, the Publisher of the New York Times, CNN anchor Fareed Zakaria, Ukrainian President Zelensky (Note: I thought he was fighting a war against Russia) and a long list of presidents, prime ministers, ministers, senators, House representatives, commissioners, governors, mayors, bankers, royalty, officials from the UN and Red Cross, as well as military, customs (interesting?) and space agency (very interesting!) officials.”

Dr. Mercola continued: “The people gathering at this meeting, which is by invitation only (Note: I didn’t get one), are among the ones deciding how the rest of us are going to live our lives, what rights we’ll have regardless of local constitutions, and how the world is to be run. The WEF works closely with the World Health Organization and the United Nations) to make sure the UN’s sustainable development goals are met. The sustainable development goals are the foundation upon which the WEF’s Great Reset agenda is built. The WEF is also helping the WHO (not the rock group), making it a de facto one world governing body.” Wow! Sounds a lot like Revelation 13 to me. Stay tuned!

So, what are we, as Christians, to do in light of all this scary news of a “New World Order?” Answer: The usual: watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, simply agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cold (19 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: a bunny and a deer!

Two days ago (1/21), I said I was going to send you Part 2 of Romans 1. I forgot. Sorry about that. You may remember, from Part 1 (Romans 1:18-24), the apostle Paul wrote about some of the consequences of homosexual behavior: “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men/women who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.” The result: “God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, that their bodies might be dishonored among them (verse 24).”

Paul continued in verses 25-32, “For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, Who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions, for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; and, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.”

Paul also wrote in I Corinthians 6:9-11, “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed; but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.”

Did you get that? There is hope for those who are homosexuals, lesbians, transgenders, etc. in Christ. Remember, Paul wrote, in Romans 3:23, 24, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His (God’s) grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus. In other words, as sinners, we all deserve to go to hell for eternity. But, through faith in Christ, His death, burial and resurrection, we can go to heaven! Alleluia! Glory to God!

Are you familiar with the word “transhumanism?” I wasn’t until this past year when I discovered that “transhumanism is the belief or theory that the human race can evolve beyond its current physical and mental limits, especially by means of science and technology.” Does the phrase, “follow the science,” ring a bell?

Dr. Joseph Mercola, in today’s article, “Big Data, Transhumanism and Why the Singularity May Be Faked,” reported: “Silicon Valley is essentially fused with the national security state. Silicon Valley is now also entering into joint ventures with medical companies, and many of these ventures are financed by groups like In-Q-Tel, which is the CIA’s venture capital arm.

There’s a concerted effort to frame transhumanism – which is really the new eugenics – as health care. Joint ventures involving Big Tech, Big Pharma and the security state typically focus on products and services that normalize and further the transhumanist agenda.

Food and agriculture are also being tossed into the mix. The U.S. government has launched a ‘Food is Medicine’ program, which is yet another way for the government to seize control of the population. Food as medicine will be used to get you into their control system, and keep you there.

In 2023 and 2024, watch out for the rollout of central bank digital currencies (CBDBs). Its crucial that as many people as possible refuse the system during the initial voluntary phase. Once it becomes mandatory, it cannot be stopped and all freedoms will be lost.” Note: Sounds more and more to me like the “mark of the beast” system of Revelation 13.

Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cool (25 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 2 deer and a dog! Thank You, Jesus!

This headline from yesterday’s “Christian Post,” really got my attention: “Research Shows U.S. the Worst Country (in the world) for Pushing Extreme Gender Ideology and Sex Change Surgeries on Youth.”

Let me remind you, in case you forgot or didn’t know, God’s Word (the Bible) says, in Genesis 1:27, “God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” So, you might say, “I don’t believe that and I should be able to do with my body whatever I want?”

Now, let me tell you what God said would happen if we disregard His Word on this subject: “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men/women who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures. Therefore God gave them over in the lust of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them (Romans 1:18-24).

Lord willing, I will give you Part 2 (Romans 1:25-32) tomorrow. In the meantime, over the last two days, there have been two “strong” (6.2 and 6.8) earthquakes in or near Guadeloupe in the Caribbean Sea and Argentina. As many of you know, I have been charting earthquakes with the help of the USGS for some 17 years, primarily because Jesus said they would be increasing in frequency and intensity, like “birth pains,” before His return (Matthew 24:7, 8).

All I can says is “God is so patient.” And why? The apostle Peter said it well in his second letter (3:9): “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” Did you get that? He is waiting for those of you who are lost without Christ to “come to repentance” which means You agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cool (28 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I did not see any of God’s creatures, but was thankful to God I could still walk!

This morning headline from Reuters in the Jerusalem Post really got my attention: “Putin Ally Medvedev Warns NATO of Nuclear War If Russia Is Defeated in Ukraine!”

Jesus, in Matthew 24: 6 and Mark 13:7, told His disciples that, before His return, “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of war.” And, as an example of both, we know that Russia first threatened to invade Ukraine (a rumor of war); then, went to war with Ukraine. And, as of today, the war continues on with more nations involved and no end in sight. And now, the Russian leaders are threatening nuclear war if they are on the verge of defeat. And, I don’t have to tell you, we don’t want that to happen.

We do know from Scripture, particularly Revelation 6-19, that there will be a number of future wars: one of which will “kill one fourth of the earth’s population (2 billion people) with sword (war) and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth (Revelation 6:8) and another which will kill “a third of mankind” (another 2 billion people) which John recorded in Revelation 9:13-16.

Scary stuff! Now, personally, I believe (and I could be wrong) in a “pre-trib rapture of the church when Jesus will come at an unknown time in the future to take His bride, the church, out of this mess to heaven before the “worst time in human history” (Matthew 24:21, 22) which you can read about, if you dare, in Revelation 6-19.

Question: “What are we, as believers in Jesus, to do in the meantime?” Answer: “Watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes!” And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, simply agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Good morning, blog readers, from rainy and cool (38 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I got soaked and ended it earlier than normal! Thank You, Jesus, for a warm house and warm clothes!

If I were to ask you, “When you think of “The Who,” what name comes to mind? Most of us who grew up in the 60s would say, “An English rock group.” Unlike me, you might even know the names of the four members of the group: Roger Daltrey, John Entwistle, Keith Moon and Pete Townsend who were inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame in 1990.

Nowadays, there is another “Who” of which we ought to know something about to prepare us for the future (and maybe even the present). It is the World Health Organization about which Dr. Joseph Mercola gives us some very important information in a segment of his January 15, 2023 article: “The Most Important Topics of Our Time.”

Dr. Mercola wrote: “One of the most serious threats is the globalist cabal (secret society) pursuit of a one world totalitarian government through the World Health Organization, under the guise of global biosecurity. The WHO has drafted a global treaty on pandemic preparedness that would grant it absolute power over global biosecurity, such as the power to implement digital identities/vaccine passports, mandatory vaccinations, travel restrictions, standardized medical care and more. The treaty did not pass this year, but will most likely pass in 2023.

The treaty will change the global landscape and strip you of some of your most basic rights and freedoms. It’s a direct attack on the sovereignty of its member states, as well as a direct attack on your bodily autonomy. With this treaty in place, all member nations will be subject to the WHO’s dictates. If the WHO says every person on the planet needs to have a vaccine passport and digital identity to ensure vaccination compliance, then that’s what every country will be forced to implement, even if the people have rejected such plans using local democratic processes.”

Sounds a lot like Revelation 13 to me when the Antichrist will take over the world, declare that he alone is god to be worshiped and obeyed. The apostle John wrote about him and his “sidekick” (the false prophet) in Revelation 13:15-18, “And there was given to him (the false prophet) to give breath to the image of the beast (the Antichrist), that the image of the beast might even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed. And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand, or on their forehead, and he provides that no one should buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty six (666).”

Sadly, most people, including many so-called “Christians” are either scared or uninterested in Bible prophecy. And, even though there is some pretty frightening stuff on the horizon, God lays the future out for us in places like Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. This headline, from today’s EarthSky, really got my attention this morning: “Excitement Builds!”

C. Alex Young and Raul Cortes posted: “Sun activity is moderate with three M flares, including an eruptive event with an earth-directed CME (Coronal Mass Ejection). The Earth-directed CME is expected to reach us on January 17, 2023 (tomorrow). Here are the three M flares. Notice their ascending order of strength!

M3.5 at 20:06 UTC on January 14

M46 at 20:37 UTC on January 14

M6 at 20:37 on January 15

All three M flares produced radio blackouts over the sun-facing side of Earth. The next few days could get exciting, perhaps even more exciting than the past week of X flares. It could be a week of flares and auroras. Stay tuned! Note: One of my favorite expressions in regards to Bible prophecy and the coming of Christ.

For instance, the Lord Jesus told His disciples: “And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man (the Lord Jesus) coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near (Luke 21:25-28).” Stay tuned!!!!!

Yes, dear brothers and sisters in Christ, these are exciting and, somewhat scary, times in which we live, as we wait for Jesus to return. So, let us fix our eyes on Jesus (Hebrews 12:2) and keep them there while watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Him until He comes.
