Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy, windy and cool (35 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 9 robins and a dog who was not happy to see me, let me know it, but kept his distance! Thank You, Jesus!

This sad headline, from The Christian Post, is just one more example of Bible prophecy being fulfilled: ‘Starved to death’: Police find 4 dead, rescue 11 after cult leader urges fasting to ‘meet Jesus!'”

In the article, Anugrah Kumar reported: “Kenyan police have arrested the leader of a cult group for the death of four followers who starved to death in a forest after he allegedly instructed them to fast to ‘meet Jesus.’ Eleven other followers have been hospitalized, two of them in critical condition. Police have also found a mass grave in the forest believed to contain the bodies of other victims.”

And Jesus said to His disciples, in Matthew 24:4, “See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many.” Certainly, many “false Christs” have been around since the real Jesus Christ ascended to heaven back in the first century. Off the top of my head (which is getting thinner all the time), I can think of three in my lifetime: Rev Sun Myung Moon, David Koresh and Jim Jones. And, according to Jesus, there will be “many” more. Interestingly enough, I don’t know if he still believes this but, at one time, Bill Gates thought of himself as a “messiah who would save the world through vaccination!”

Question: “How do you know the real Christ from a false Christ?” First of all, you need to get out a Bible and read the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) and believe Jesus is the Son of God, the Savior, Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). And, once you have become a believer in Jesus, the Holy Spirit will come to live within you and help you to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (II Peter 3:18).” And, the more you grow in His grace and knowledge, the more you will be able to discern truth from error. Also, it is important to know that, as we get closer to the Lord’s return, the devil will step up his activity of lies. So, Jesus warns us: “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or there He is, do not believe him. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead, if possible, even the elect,” that is, the believers in Jesus.

Dearly beloved in Christ, please know I love you and am praying for you to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (II Peter 3:18).” And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, please know I love you and am praying for you to become one. These headlines, from today’s “Prophecy News Watch,” really grabbed my attention:

#1. Americans Stressed Over Finances – How Will They Handle the Coming Recession?

#2. Parental Nightmare – State Will Hide Kids from Parents Who Don’t Approve Gender Transition

#3. Ezekiel’s Bones Live – Nearly Half of the World’s Jews Live in Israel

In the first article, Michael Snyder of the Economic Collapse Blog, reported: “If virtually everyone is expecting a recession, and most people start acting accordingly, do you think that will make an economic downturn less likely or more likely? Needless to say, the answer to that question is obvious. Right now, banks all over the country are getting really tight with their money, large corporations are laying off workers at a frightening pace, and consumers are cutting back on their spending. In other words, it’s really starting to look like a recession out there, and economic conditions are only going to get even more harsh in the months ahead.”

In the second article, Sarah Perry of the Daily Signal, wrote: “In the dark of the night of the last day of the legislative session in Washington State, Senate Democrats passed Senate Bill 5599, a breathtaking evisceration of parental rights. The bill would allow the state to legally hide runaway children from their parents if the parents don’t consent to their child’s ‘gender transition’ or abortion. This bill also applies to children from other states who may travel thousands of miles for such procedures not available to them at home, cementing Washington as a ‘sanctuary state’ for runaway teens. And if that wasn’t enough, the bill allocates up to $7.5 million of Washington taxpayers’ money to the Office of Homeless Youth Prevention and Protection to provide grants to organizations to pay for gender transition and abortion procedures.”

And, in the third article, on a more joyous and hopeful note, the staff of the Jewish News Syndicate, reported: “At the start of 2,022, there were a total of 15.3 million Jews in the world, 7 million of whom, roughly 46% of all Jews worldwide, resided in Israel, Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics revealed on Sunday.”

In 1939, on the eve of WWII, Jews numbered 16.6 million, and 449,000 (3%) resided in the Land of Israel. Just under 10 years later, in 1948, the world’s Jewish population had diminished to 11.5 million; of them, 650,000 (6%) lived in Israel. Some 70,000 people from 95 different countries immigrated to Israel in 2022 with the assistance of the Jewish Agency for Israel, in cooperation with the Ministry of Alijah and Integration.”

So, you might ask, “What’s the big deal?” Some Christians (including me) and some Jews believe that the prophecy of Ezekiel 37, speaks of the “rebirth of Israel as a nation” which occurred on May 14, 1948. Interestingly enough, this prophecy is followed by the prophecies of Ezekiel 38-39 which, I believe, speak of a future (perhaps in our lifetime), Russian-led invasion of Israel, along with a host of other nations “to capture spoil and to seize plunder” from the Israelis (38:12, 13), only to be destroyed by the Lord God Himself (38:18-39:29). And, if you don’t believe me, read it for yourself. And, as an added bonus, read Ezekiel 40-48 and you will hear of a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem, “the glory of the Lord” returning to the temple and the beginning of His kingdom on earth which I believe (not all Christians do) will last for a thousand years, according to Revelation 20:1-7.

Yes, dearly beloved in Christ, He is coming! So, stay “on the alert” (Mark 13:33, 35, 37) and keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, please read Matthew 24 or Mark 13 or Luke 21 and watch the news to see if what Jesus said would happen is happening. And, if it is, don’t delay. Simply agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). This morning, I would ask you to pray for our grandson, Luke, who is on his way back to Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia (where he has spent numerous days and nights over the last 21 years of his life with a brain tumor and countless other ailments. And, please pray for our daughter, Laura, her husband Rick, and our grandsons (Aaron, Caleb and Luke), as they wait to see what the Lord has in store for them today. To Him be the glory! And, thank you for praying!

Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and warm (58 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 12 robins, a deer, a dove and a grackle! Thank You, Jesus!

This headline, from CBS News, caught my eye this morning: “Russia’s entire Pacific Fleet put on high alert for practice missile launches.”

In the article, the CNS News staff reported: “The entire Russian fleet was put on high alert on Friday for snap drills that will involve practice missile launches in a massive show of force amid war games to test the capability of Russia’s armed forces to meet a response to aggression over fighting in Ukraine,” defense minister Sergei Shoigu said. “Along with missile launches, the drills will also involve nuclear-capable strategic bombers and other warplanes besides the naval aviation of the Pacific Fleet,” Shiogu said.

As I have said before, I believe, according to Ezekiel 38, a Russian leader (Gog) of Magog (perhaps Vladimir Putin) will, at some time in the future (perhaps even in our lifetime) be drawn away from one war (perhaps with Ukraine) and go down to Israel “to capture spoil and to seize plunder,” with only a mild protest from other nations (verses 12, 13). And, just when it seems like Israel is doomed to be destroyed, the Lord God Himself comes to Israel’s defense and destroys Russia and her allies (38:13-39:21). So, stay tuned and see if I am right (although I could be wrong).

And so, dearly beloved in Christ, let us not be afraid, but keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, time is running out. These two headlines are both sad and chilling:

#1. Russia’s Pacific Fleet placed on high alert for snap drills (AP)

#2. Dr. Robert Malone: International COVID Summit (Dr. Joseph Mercola)

In the first article, the AP Staff reported: “The entire Russian Pacific Fleet was put on high alert Friday for snap drills that will involve practice missile launches, in a massive show of force amid tensions with the West over the fighting in Ukraine. Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said the goal of the war games is to test the capability of Russia’s armed forces to mount a response to aggression. Along with the missile launches, the drills will also involve nuclear-capable strategic bombers and other warplanes besides the naval aviation of the Pacific Fleet, Shoigu said.”

In the second article, Dr, Joseph Mercola wrote: “CDC director Rochelle Walensky overruled the CDC’s expert panel and went ahead with the recommendation to issue a booster shot for adults at high risk of infection. This is because COVID-19 shots do not fully protect you from infection, virus replication or shedding, and just because you’ve had the jab doesn’t mean you’re not going to infect anybody else.

An unspoken social contract convinced many people to get the jabs – if you submit to the experimental shots, you would not only be personally protected but you would also protect your community, and we could all recover and get back to a sense of normalcy. By reducing symptoms of illness while allowing viral replication to continue, the injections increase the likelihood that vaccinated people will become super-spreaders of COVID-19.

Malone predicts that as the shots’ effectiveness continue to wane, we’re going to see increasing cases of vaccinated people getting COVID-19 and being hospitalized and dying as a result, at which point people will have come to terms with the fact that they’ve been misled.”

All of these threats, rumors of war and lies about COVID are reminders that “the father of lies” (John 8:44) is very active in this world and the church to weaken or destroy our witness. And, sadly, Satan’s lies are working, much to his delight. But, it doesn’t have to be, as we read and believe the Word of God is, indeed, “the whole truth and nothing but the truth and the “sword of the Spirit” which will protect us and give us victory over Satan’s lies and schemes. So, if you haven’t already done so, agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). And Jesus said to His disciples then and now: “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of war and earthquakes in various places ( Matthew 24:6, 7; Mark 13:7, 8; Luke 21:9-11).” In addition, there was also “very minor” and rare (2.6) quake, 1 km W of Adam Center, New York (population: 1,568)!

Yes, dearly beloved in Christ, to quote an old song with a prophetical twist: “It’s beginning to look a lot like the Trib!” So, stay tuned and keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, I wonder: “What will it take for you to become one?” Sadly, in Revelation 6:12-17, we read that, despite “a great earthquake, the sun turning black, the moon becoming like blood, the sky rolled up like a scroll and every mountain and island moved out of their places, the leaders of tried to hide in caves and wanted to die, but their was no escape.” And yet, in the midst of God’s judgment, He still sent out 144,000 Jewish evangelists to reach the lost for Christ. Read Revelation 7:4-17 and you will see how God, in His grace and mercy, will still be saving the lost through faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Glory to God!

So, please don’t put it off for another day. Right now, simply agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (I Corinthians 15:1-4; John 3:16). I don’t know about you, but it seems like we are facing all kinds of dangers from within and without, as you will see from this morning’s news:

#1. First of all, there was this headline from Dr. Joseph Mercola: “mRNA Vaccines Put You at Risk for Acute Coronary Heart Disease.”

#2. Then, there were these two, somewhat similar, headlines from the “so-called kings from the east” (Prophecy News Watch):

#3.China Selling Off US Treasuries As It Prepares For Possible Blockade of Taiwan (Prophecy News Watch).

#4. “North Korea Launches another ballistic missile (Reuters).”

In the first article, Dr. Mercola wrote: “Using the PULS cardiac test, researchers have found Pfizer and Moderna mRNA COVID shots dramatically increase biomarkers associated with thrombosis, cardiomyopathy and other vascular events following vaccination. Pre-and post-injection PULS tests for 566 patients were compared. On average, their PULS scores went from an 11% five-year risk, to a more than double 25%, five-year risk. Those who got the injection for fear that COVID-19 might adversely effect their heart now face the grim reality that they’ve exchanged a potential risk for a more certain one.”

In the second article, Michael Snyder wrote: “We are closer to war with China than most people realize. Right now, U.S. officials in Washington are deeply concerned that the Chinese may impose a full-blown blockade on Taiwan as the first step in a ‘reunification’ campaign. Many Americans don’t realize that such a move would be a really, really big deal. If China chooses to blockade Taiwan, the U.S. and China would instantly be in a state of war. All of a sudden, the flow of high-end computer chips from Taiwan would completely stop. And, all of a sudden, the flow of products that we import from China would completely stop. In other words, our standard of living would be radically altered for the foreseeable future.” Note: Is it a coincidence or just me that is wondering why the President and his family left the U.S. for Europe?

And, in the third article, Kim Hong-Ji of Reuters, reported: “North Korea fired what might be a new model of ballistic missile, triggering a scare in northern Japan, where residents were told to take cover, though there turned out to be no danger. The missile flew about 1,000 km (620 miles), South Korea’s military said, calling it a ‘grave provocation.'”

Wow! Wow! Wow! And, yes, I do believe in a “Pre-Trib Rapture of the Church.” But, I also believe we may still be around for what I like to call a “first trimester of signs” which Jesus listed in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. So, as believers in Jesus, we need to watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, why not become one today by agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and warm (59 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 5 robins! Thank You, Jesus!

Yesterday, I had mentioned “China” in my headline, but failed to mention why. Sorry about that! So, here are two, recent and, perhaps prophetic, headlines involving China and one involving Iran which may lead to war:

#1. China ends Taiwan drills after practicing blockades, precision strikes (Reuters)

#2. China Military ‘ready to fight’ after drills near Taiwan (Reuters)

#3. “Earthquake Relief?” (Reuters)

In the first two articles, the Reuters staff reported: “China’s military declared Monday it is ‘ready to fight’ after completing three-days of large scale combat exercises around Taiwan that simulated sealing off the island in response to the Taiwanese president’s trip to the U.S. last week. The ‘combat readiness patrols’ named Joint Sword were meant as a warning to self-governing Taiwan, which China claims as its own, China’s military said earlier. The theater troops are ready to fight at all times and can fight at anytime to resolutely smash any form of ‘Taiwan independence and foreign interference attempts,’ it said on Monday.”

In the third article, Kevin Lamarque of Reuters wrote: “Iran has used earthquake relief flights to bring weapons into Syria, nine Syrian, Iranian, Israeli and Western sources said. The sources told Reuters that the goal was to buttress Iran’s defenses against Israel in Syria and to strengthen Syrian President Bashar-al Assad.”

All of these “rumors of war” reminded me of when Russian President Vladimir Putin threatened to invade Ukraine. Then, several months later, he invaded Ukraine. As I have said before, I believe (and I could be wrong), according to Ezekiel 38-39, the leader of Russia (Vladimir Putin?) will, at some time in the future, be drawn away from one war (Ukraine?) and, along with a host of other nations, including Iran, will invade Israel to “take a spoil,” with only a weak protest from “Sheba and Dedan (Saudi Arabia) and the merchants of Tarshish (Spain) with all its villages (young lions, KJV),” possibly parts of England and the U.S. And, just when it seems like Israel is doomed, the Lord God Himself will destroy Russia and her allies which I believe (and I could be wrong) will open the way for China and her allies (the “kings from the east,” in Revelation 16:12) to march to Megiddo where they will all be destroyed by the Lord Jesus when He returns to set up His kingdom on earth (Revelation 19:11-21).

So, stay tuned, dear brothers and sisters in Christ and watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, simply agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). This headline, from Dr. Robert Malone, caught my attention this morning: “The World Economic Forum: Please Share!”

In the article, Dr. Malone reported: “Those of us in this movement sometimes forget that, for most people, the World Economic Forum (WEF) is a meeting in Davos (Switzerland) where the rich and famous like to hang out once a year. They have no idea what the WEF truly is about and what it has accomplished over the course of the last 50 years. Even those of us who follow the WEF can forget what their true mission is, and how deeply they are involved in crafting the new world order, ergo: The Great Reset.

The truth is that transnationalist companies want control of world governance. The Great Reset is a planned attempt to redistribute all the world’s wealth and power into the hands of corporations, billionaires, banks and most of all, the World Economic Forum’s leadership. The ‘Great Reset’ plans to use the fourth industrial revolution to furthrt their own ambitious plans of world dominance.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) is a term used to refer to the next generation of technological advances, where it is anticipated that the differences between physical, digital and biological technologies disappear. This is a world where machines and computers evolve independently, where new biological entities and evolutionary changes are being controlled by artificial intelligence (AI), where brain waves can be manipulated. It is quite literally, a ‘brave new world.’ It is a world where transhumanism (you can become god) has become a reality. The boundaries between man and machine are blurred.”

From a biblical perspective, this is none other than Satan’s desire to be God and rule over the world which he will try to do under the guise of the future Antichrist who will rule over the world for 7 years (Daniel 9:27) and then be destroyed by the Lord Jesus Christ at His coming (Revelation 19:11-20:10).

So, let me ask you: “Are you looking for superman or the God-man: the Antichrist or Jesus Christ?” Are you looking for “brighter days” on this earth or the “new heaven and the new earth” where all will be well for eternity I’m looking for Jesus Christ, the new heaven and the new earth and can’t wait. But, wait I must and, watch, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please, agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe Jesus died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Good afternoon, blog readers, from sunny and warm (69 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 6 deer! Thank You, Jesus!

This headline, from today’s Capital Hills News, was both sad and prophetic: “White House IGNORING Nashville Victims While Praising Transgenderism!”

In the article, the Capital Hills News staff reported: “The Biden White House, primarily through Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, has displayed an alarming disregard for the recent Nashville school shooting victims while simultaneously promoting transgender rights as an essential part of the progressive agenda. The tragic event unfolded in Nashville when a mentally ill transgender individual targeted and shot innocent students and teachers, killing six. In the aftermath, the Biden administration has failed to provide adequate support to the affected community and remained shockingly silent about the violence and suffering of the families of the victims and the community. Contrastingly, the White House has been quite vocal in its support for transgender rights. Nevertheless, President Biden and his administration continue to push for policies that promote transgenderism as a protected class, seemingly turning a blind eye to the potential risks associated with these policies.”

And, Jesus said, in Luke 17:26-28, “And just as it happened in the days of Noah (when wickedness and evil reigned), so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: they were eating, they were drinking, they were given in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. It was the same as happened in the days of Lot (when homosexual behavior reigned); they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building; but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.”

Did you notice how God responded, in each case, to this sinful behavior? And, I quote, “He destroyed them all!” And yet, despite His judgments, we know from His Word, the Bible, God is still a loving God Who doesn’t want anyone to perish (in hell), but for all to have eternal life in heaven (John 3:16). But, first and foremost, you need to agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life. And, don’t let anyone, including Satan, tell you, “it’s too late” or “you’re not good enough” for God or heaven because the apostle Paul who considered himself “the worst of sinners” (I Timothy 1:15) was saved from his sins by God’s grace through faith in Jesus, His death, burial and resurrection. Listen to what he wrote in I Corinthians 6:9-11,

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.”

And so, dearly beloved, let us love and pray for President Biden, his Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, and all of his administration that they, too, like the rest of us “sinners” will became “saints” by the grace of God to the glory of God.
