Lately, if you’ve been watching the news and weather, you have heard about the wildfires in Canada. According to FOX NEWS.com, “Canadian wildfires are continuing to pour smoke along the East Coast of the United States, including the New Your City area, which Wednesday afternoon, appeared red like it was on the planet Mars. Canadian officials have reached out to other countries to help fight the more than 400 fires across the country that have displaced 20,000 people.”

In addition to the headline about the Canadian fires, I saw this headline from yesterday’s Washington Post: “Images and video show Hawaii’s “Kilauea volcano erupting again.”

In the article, Kasha Patel reported: “Hawaii’s second-largest volcano began erupting Wednesday morning, displaying a dynamic fiery show after three months of inactivity. The action at the Kilauea volcano is confined within a closed area of the Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park, but officials are closely monitoring activity for potential hazards to the region. Past activity at the volcano has consumed houses and sent ash clouds high into the sky.”

After I read these two headlines of volcanic activity, out of curiosity and my love of Bible prophecy, I decided to look up the word “fire” in my “Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible and found it was used 26 different times in the Book of Revelation (1:14, 2:18, 3:18, 4:5, 8:5, 7, 8, 9:17 (2), 9:18, 10:1,11:5,13:13,14:10,18,15:2,16:8,17:16,18:8,19:12, 20, 20:9,10,14,15 and 21:8. And, all in regards to a form of judgment, including the Judge Himself, the Lord Jesus Christ.

As I have said before, Jesus will either be your Savior or Judge. My prayer is that He is or will soon be, even today, your Savior by agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16).

These two, disturbing headlines, continue to reveal the devil’s plan to destroy the world and to take as many people to hell with him for eternity:

#1. Steps to Rule the World (Technocracy News)

In the first article, from Technocracy News, the TN Editor wrote: “People around the world are picking up on the necessity (inevitability) of a scorched earth policy needed to effect the Great Reset: ‘Any world leader(s) will have to focus on the destruction of humanity before they can accomplish any sort of world control over its inhabitants.’ Technocracy will create a prison, not a Utopia.’

#2. The Great COVID Death Coverup (Dr. Joseph Merola)

Dr. Mercola reported: “Within weeks of the pandemic outbreak, it had become apparent that the standard practice of putting COVID-19 patients on mechanical ventilation was a death sentence; 76.4% of COVID-19 patients (aged 18-65) in New York City who were placed on ventilators died. Among patients over age 65 who were vented, the mortality rate was 97.2%.

The recommendation to place COVID patients on mechanical ventilation as a first-line response came from the World Health Organization which allegedly based its guidance on experiences and recommendations from doctors in China. But venting COVID patients wasn’t recommended because it increased survival. It was to protect health care workers by isolating the virus inside the vent machine. Data suggest around 10,000 patients died with COVID in NYC hospitals after being put on ventilators in the spring of 2020. Other metropolitan areas also saw massive spike in deaths among younger individuals who were at low risk of dying from COVID. It’s possible many of these deaths were the result of being placed on mechanical ventilation.

The WHO must be held accountable for its unethical recommendation to sacrifice suspected COVID patients by using ventilation as an infection mitigation strategy – especially considering they’re now trying to get unilateral power and authority to make pandemic decisions without local input.”

Question: “Whatever happened to the Hippocratic Oath: First, Do No Harm?” From a Biblical and prophetic perspective, this comes as no surprise to us, as Christians, because we know that Lucifer (aka Satan/the devil) is “a murderer, a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44)” and “the god of this world who has blinded the minds of the unbelievers so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ Who is the image of God (II Corinthians 4:4).”

Next question: “How do we get through to people who are blinded by Satan’s lies and schemes?”

Answer: We “speak truth in love” to them (Ephesians 5:18). Next question: “What truth?” That we are sinners who need a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:22, 23) Who died on a cross for our sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all our sins and give us eternal life (John 3:16). Then, we watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes.

Yes, dearly beloved in Christ, He is coming! And, while Satan is working overtime to keep people lost and on their way to an eternal hell, we need to “put on the whole armor of God, so that we will be able to resist the enemy’s lies and schemes (Ephesians 6:10-19)” and be shining examples of Jesus until He comes or calls us home. This headline, from yesterday’s Technocracy News and Trends, was another alarming one: “Green Monkey DNA Found in COVID-19 Shots!”

In the article, the TN Editor wrote: “The wheels are coming off Big Pharma’s massive fraud perpetrated on humanity. As real scientific studies take place, and they take time, it is found that mRNA shots contained large amounts of DNA and from multiple sources, that are able to permanently change your DNA. Once changed, they cannot be changed back. The potential result is life-long chronic illness or death.”

The article continued: “Microbiologist Kevin McKernan – a former researcher and team leader for the MIT Human Genome project – has discovered massive DNA contamination in the mRNA COVID shots, including simian (monkey) virus 40 (SV40) promoters which has been linked to cancer in humans, including mesotheliomas, lymphomas and cancers of the brain and bone.”

Hello! Wake up America! Our government and many of our scientists are poisoning and killing us which, as I wrote about yesterday, is all part of the “Depopulation Agenda.”

I find it interesting that, in Revelation 13, the Greek word for “beast(s)” (therion) is used 37 different times in reference to the antichrist and the false prophet. And, in Acts 28:4, of “the viper which fastened on Paul’s hand.” In each case, much like the shots of today, evil and deadly.

Sadly, we live in a day when many, but not all, of the so-called “experts” in the government, medical and scientific world are telling us to “follow the science,” by taking vaccines which are not really vaccines, but “experimental gene therapies” which may lead to serious injuries and death.

Now, you may not agree with me, but please hear me out. The Bible tells us that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming to the earth to set up His kingdom. But, before He does, I believe (not all Christians do), that Jesus will come for His bride, the church, which you can read about in I Thessalonians 4:13-18 and I Corinthians 15:50-57) to take her to heaven (John 14:1-3). After the so-called “rapture of the church” when millions, perhaps even a billion or two, suddenly disappear, the world will be in chaos. Then, the Bible tells us, the so-called “antichrist” will come onto the world scene, calm the world down, sign a seven-year “peace treaty with the many” (not all) in Israel which will probably allow the Jews to rebuild their temple in Jerusalem and reinstate their temple sacrifices. Halfway through the treaty, he will stop the sacrifices, go into the temple, declare that he alone is God and to be worshiped (Daniel 9:27; II Thessalonians 2:1-12), with the death penalty for all who resist him (Revelation 13:1-18).

So, please, take God at His Word. And, if you haven’t already done so, agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). This recent and alarming headline, from Technocracy News and Trends, sadly got my attention this morning: “Dr. Naomi Wolf: Pfizer’s Depopulation Agenda, As Evidenced By Its Own Documents!”

In the article, the TN Editor reported: “Dr. Naomi Wolf has uncovered hard evidence within Pfizer documents that the company has intentionally designed its mRNA shots to target the reproductive cycle of women in their child-bearing years. This puts intense depopulation pressure on entire societies. There are many other effects such as myocarditis, paralysis, stroke, blood clots, up to and including death. Note (Doug): And sadly, with no accountability, that is, until he or she stands before a holy God and, without Christ as their Savior, will spend their eternity in hell.

But, there’s good news (John 3:16): “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him (the Lord Jesus Christ, His death, burial and resurrection), shall not perish (in hell), but have eternal life.” Please know I am praying for those of you who are lost without Christ to agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life. According to the Library of Congress, “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Pride Month is currently celebrated each year in the month of June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. The Stonewall Uprising was a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States where the last Sunday in June was initially celebrated as ‘Gay Pride Day,’ but the actual day was flexible. In major cities across the nation the ‘day’ soon grew to encompass a month-long series of events. Today, celebrations include pride parades, picnics, parties, workshops, symposia and concerts. And, LGBTQ Pride Month events attract millions of participants around the world.

So, you might be wondering “why, as a Christian pastor, am I writing about this?” Because I believe it is important to remember John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” The apostle Paul also reminded us, in Romans 3:23, 24, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus.”

In other words, we are all sinners who need a Savior Who is Jesus Who died on a cross for our sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all our sins and give us eternal life (John 3:16). My prayer is that, if you haven’t already trusted Christ as your Savior, you would so today, for you might not have a tomorrow.

Oh, and one more Scripture by King Solomon, the wisest man on the earth at his time, who wrote, “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before stumbling. (Proverbs 16:18).”

I am thinking (and I could be wrong) that God may soon, perhaps even this month, bring His wrath and judgment on this country and the world, as we continue to go against His Word and will. See Romans 1. This morning headline, from the Gatestone Institute is chilling: “The Anti-Western Nuclear Club: North Korea, China, Russia and Iran Dangerously Target the West.”

In the article, Majid Rafizadeh reported: “North Korean leader Kim Jong Un ordered this January that his country carry out ‘exponential’ expansion of its nuclear arsenal and the manufacturing of a more powerful ICBM.”

‘Today, China, Russia, North Korea and Iran continue to invest in technologies to expand their capabilities to hit the United States with nuclear weapons. All four countries have also escalated their threatening rhetoric, indicating their willingness to use nuclear weapons. By expanding their nuclear programs, each has made clear that our nuclear arsenal is no longer a deterrent to their potential use of nuclear weapons.’ – Rep. Mike Turner, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, Fox News, May 4, 2023.”

Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! So, you might be interested in what the Bible says about this. In Revelation 5:7, 8, John wrote: “When the Lamb (the Lord Jesus Christ) broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, ‘Come.’ I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword (war) and with famine and with pestilence (the results of war) and by the wild beasts of the earth, whatever that means.

And, let me remind you again that, according to Ezekiel 38-39, Russia (Magog), Iran (Persia) and a host of other nations, will, at sometime in the future, invade Israel “to take a spoil,” only to be destroyed by the Lord God Himself. And, if you don’t believe me, read Ezekiel 38-39. Then, at another time “down the road,” we read, in Revelation 16:12-16, of the so-called “kings from the east” (that is, of Jerusalem) which I believe (and I could be wrong) will include China, North Korea, and other nations marching to Megiddo where all the enemies of Jesus will be destroyed by Him (Revelation 19:11-21).

Personally, I don’t believe we will be here for these terrifying judgments because, according to I Thessalonians 1:9, 10, Paul wrote that we “serve a living and true God (and not idols) and we are to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, Who rescues us from the wrath to come.”

And, even though I believe we will escape the wrath and judgments of God, I also believe, as Christians, we still might go through some tough times. So, let us “fix our eyes on Jesus” (Hebrews 12:2) and watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). This article, from Israel AM, really got my attention this morning: “Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant said on Thursday, ‘in light of the IAEA’s report stating that Iran possesses a sufficient amount of enriched uranium for two nuclear bombs, the threats facing the State of Israel are growing and intensifying, and we may be required to fulfill our duty in order to protect the integrity of Israel. According to the report, the amount of enriched uranium in Iran is now 23 times higher than the permitted amount in the 2015 nuclear agreement.”

HMMMMM! Israel might have to “protect the integrity of Israel.” That could fall into the prophetical category of “rumors of war” which could also become “a war,” much like Russia and Ukraine. Let me remind you of Ezekiel 38-39 where the prophet wrote about a future Russia who, along with Iran and a host of other countries will invade Israel “to capture a spoil,” only to be destroyed by the Lord God Himself. So, keep an eye on Israel, as we read, in Zechariah 2:8, “For thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘After glory (the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ), He has sent Me against the nations which plunder you (Israel) , for he who touches you (Israel), touches the apple of God’s eye.'” Stay tuned!

This headline, from yesterday’s “Technocracy New and Trends,” got my attention this morning: “Experts Ramp Up Warnings: AI Now Poses ‘Extinction Risk’ to Humanity!”

In the article, the TN Editor wrote: “Open AI’s ChatGPT is a civilization disruptor, but it is a forerunner to Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) which has not yet appeared on the scene. This is what is freaking out the scientists who are issuing these new warnings. ChatGPT and its siblings serve only to show how quickly and deeply they have penetrated into all areas of society. When AGI arrives, it will do the same.”

Global leaders should be working to reduce ‘the risk of extinction’ from artificial intelligence technology, a group of industry chiefs and experts warned on Tuesday. A one-line statement signed by dozens of specialists, including Sam Altman whose firm OpenAI created the ChatGPT bot, said ‘tackling the risks from AI should be a global priority alongside other societal-scale risks such as pandemics and nuclear war.’ … Their biggest worry has been the idea of so-called artificial general intelligence (AGI) – a loosely defined concept for a moment when machines become capable of performing wide-ranging functions and can develop their own programming. The fear is that humans would no longer have control, which experts have warned could have disastrous consequences for the species.”

Note: Keep in mind, this is all part of man’s attempt to be God which has also been Satan’s plot from the time of his creation, as we see in Isaiah 14:12-15 and Ezekiel 28:13-19. The apostle Paul would later describe him, in II Corinthians 4:4, as “the god of this world who has blinded the minds of the unbelievers so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ.”

Question: “Have you taken Satan’s ‘blinders’ off and agreed with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). If you have, then I’ll see you in heaven. And, if you are already a believer in Jesus, then “stay on the alert” (Mark 13:33, 35, 37) and keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. This recent headline, from The Times of Israel, caught my eye this morning: “Near the Western Wall, Jewish radicals shout at Christian Evangelicals to ‘go home.'”

Canaan Lidor, of the TOI Staff, reported: “Christian worshipers who prayed at an archeological park bordering the Western Wall on Sunday (5/28), were met by hundreds of Jewish protesters, including Jerusalem’s deputy mayor, shouting at them to leave.

The protesters were responding to an Evangelical Christian call for prayer at the Davison Center, which is situated south of the Western Wall Plaza and features access to a segment of the Jewish holy site. The incident underlines the strains on the relations of religious nationalists with Christian Evangelicals, who politically and financially support Israel as well as the strategic goals of religious nationalists, but diverge radically from them on theology.”

Question: “Where do Evangelical Christians and Jews disagree?” Answer: “Jesus.” Most Jews do not believe in Jesus as their Messiah. And, many Evangelical Christians, including me, believe that, not only is Jesus the Jewish Messiah, but also the Savior of the world.

On the other hand, some Evangelical Christians believe in, what is called, “Replacement Theology,” that God is done with Israel and replaced her with the church to be His “light to the nations” for salvation. Personally, I believe, from Romans 9-11 (in the New Testament), which most Jews do not believe in, God has set Israel aside for a season and has used the church to be His “light to the nations” for salvation and that, when the church’s work is done, God will bring Israel back onto the world scene to be His “light to the nations” which you can read about in the Old Testament, particularly the Book of Zechariah where, in Chapter 13:7-9, the prophet sadly reports that only one third of the Jews will receive Jesus as their Messiah and enter the kingdom of God.

King David, in Psalm 122:6, wrote: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; May they prosper who love you. May peace be within your walls.” Personally, I believe there will not be true “peace on earth” until the “Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6), the Lord Jesus Christ, returns to set up His kingdom. Let me close this blog with a word of warning to the Jews: Sometime in the future, a false Messiah will appear on the world scene and, according to Daniel 9:27, “will make a firm covenant with the many (of the Jews): for one week or seven-year period which, most likely, will allow the Jews to rebuild their temple in Jerusalem. But in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate.” Please don’t be fooled by what the New Testament calls the “antichrist.” Instead, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ to save you from your sins, give you eternal life and your long awaited kingdom on earth. This recent headline, from the Christian Post, got my attention: “Israel’s Future?”

If you have been following my blog, you know that I, occasionally, write about Israel’s future, based on the Hebrew Scriptures: Psalm 83, Jeremiah 31:35-37, Ezekiel 37-48, Daniel 9:24-27; Zechariah13-14 and Malachi 4).

In the article, Richard D. Land, Christian Post Executive Editor, reported: “Earlier this month the state of Israel celebrated her 75th birthday. In 1948, the Jewish population in British-governed Palestine – swollen greatly in number by the immigration of Jewish survivors of the European Holocaust – declared their independence and the establishment of the state of Israel. They were badly outnumbered and faced immediate attack by the modern armies of Egypt, Jordan, Syria and other neighboring Arab countries.

Despite the overwhelming odds against them, the Israelis won their war of independence to maintain their freedom in spite of the intense and unrelenting hostility of the Arab populations that surrounded them. In 1967, facing an imminent attack by Egypt from the South, Jordan from the East, and Syria from the North, Israel executed a lightning military strike and won an overwhelming victory in the aptly titled ‘Six-Day War.’ They followed that up with yet another stunning victory over Egypt and Syria in 1973.

In light of these displays of admirable military prowess, Israel still lives in a very dangerous neighborhood. The Israelis face the daily threat of terrorist attacks, coupled with the growing strength of an Iranian regime sworn to the destruction of Israel and hell-bent on acquiring their own nuclear weaponry. The mullahs who run the Islamic State of Iran have openly speculated that they could do with one nuclear bomb exploded in Tel Aviv, what Hitler failed to do – eliminate the majority of the world’s Jews. It is difficult to imagine a more realistic or lethal ‘existential’ threat to a nation’s continued existence.

Like tens of millions of other Evangelicals in North America and beyond (of which I, Doug, am one), I believe that Israel’s future is certain and fixed. While significant parts of American Protestantism have embraced so-called ‘Replacement Theology,’ which means that God’s promises to His people Israel in the Old Testament have been replaced with God’s promises to the people of God in the New Testament (the church), there are tens of millions of Protestant Evangelicals who believe that God’s promises to the Jews were unconditional and were never abrogated.”

The Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are clear, there will always be an Israel. But, sadly, according to Zechariah 13:7-9, only one third of the Jews will believe in Jesus as their Messiah and Savior and enter His kingdom. So, please, I beg of you, Jew and Gentile alike, if you haven’t already done so, agree with God you are a sinner Who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16).
