These headlines really got my attention this morning:

In the first article, the CP Staff wrote: “Students at publicly funded Texas universities are now able to enroll in courses about witches, black magic and the supernatural – under the guise of women’s studies. Texas Tech University is offering Women and Gender Studies Course 4301 titled, ‘Witches, Bruxas (?) and Black Magic’ in a course listed June 12 on the Lubbock campus’ website.”

In the second article, the TN Editor reported: “Consumer protection advocate Ralph Nader has pegged the harms of AI correctly, and calls for government regulation. Until then, the use of AI and Chatbots are unregulated and wide open for abuse. This is comparable to Google’s discovery of Surveillance Capitalism in the early 2000s where it ran unobstructed at full-throttle, leading to total domination of its industry.

In the third article, Gordon G. Chang wrote: “While America thinks of nukes as defensive instruments to deter attacks, Chinese war planners view them as offensive weapons, to compel submission. In other words, China thinks it can prevent others from coming to the aid of, say, Taiwan, by threatening nuclear destruction of their homelands. With all the additional silos in China, why would the People’s Liberation Army need missiles in Cuba? Think, shorter flight times – meaning less warning time. All this means that, thanks to Cuba, a war in Asia will be fought on, near, and over the American homeland – perhaps with nukes.”

Wow! Wow! Wow! What is this world coming to? Certainly, the “god of this world,” aka Satan (II Corinthians 4:4), is in control and moving at record speed with his “delusions of grandeur,” thinking he will, one day, rule this world and even prevent the Lord Jesus from coming again as KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS (I Timothy 6:15; Revelation 17:14, 19:16). Question: “So, in light of all this bad news, what are we, as Christians, to do?” Answer: “Watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. And, don’t forget: “Greater is He Who is in you than he who is in the world (I John 4:4).”

And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, why not become one today by agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). This morning headline, from Dr. Joseph Mercola, really got my attention: “Get Your One Health Token From the World Health Organization.”

In the article, Dr. Mercola wrote: “The World Health Organization and their ‘One Health’ approach are coming for the world’s food systems, aiming to meld them with health and medical fields. The outcome will be food tokens, medically tailored meals and prescription food programs that dictate what you eat. Part of this is a new ‘food is medicine’ agenda, which is being put in place to ultimately screen, track and control people through food, according to investigative journalist Corey Lynn.

The Rockefeller Foundation, the American Heart Association and Kroger have already partnered to develop and launch the Food is Medicine Research Initiative, which includes programs like produce prescriptions and medically tailored meals. Expect that, as the Food is Medicine Research Initiative rams up, you will hear more about the ‘necessity’ of bioengineered food, lab-grown meat and insects for ‘good’ human health and to protect the planet.”

The WHO and their ‘One Health’ approach are coming for the world food systems, aiming to meld them with the health insurance and medical fields. The outcome will be food tokens, medically tailored meals and prescription food programs that both dictate what you eat and have the power to impose penalties if you stray off course.”

‘How do you get people to break?’ Control their food and money,’ investigative journalist Corey Lynn explains. ‘What is the new weapon?’ Controlling your identity through digital means. The smart phone, QR codes, digital identities, biometrics, AI and chips are all weapons being used against humanity.'”

Sounds to me like living under the rule of the Antichrist which John wrote about in Revelation 13:15-18, “And it was given to him (the false prophet) to give breath to the image of the beast (the antichrist), so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed. And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he provides that no one will be able to buy or sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is 666.”

As I have said over and over again, Jesus is coming! But so is the antichrist! So, whom are you looking for: “superman” (the antichrist) or the God-Man, the Lord Jesus Christ Who, in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 gave us “signs” to look for, leading up to His return. And, even though all the “signs” are now happening right before our eyes, most Christians (in my opinion) don’t seem to care, despite what Jesus said, in Luke 21:28, “But when these things (the signs of His return) begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

And so, dear brothers and sisters in Christ, let us “be on the alert” (Mark 13:33, 35, 37), watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. This headline, from Reuters, got my attention this morning: “WHAT’s UP WITH RUSSIA?”

In the article, Kate Turton wrote: “Russia sought to restore calm after an aborted mutiny by Wagner Group mercenaries over the weekend, while Western allies assessed Vladimir Putin might reassert authority and what it could mean to the war in Ukraine. Wagner commander Yevgeny Prighozhin will move to Belarus under the deal mediated by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.”

I’ll be honest and tell you I have no idea what the political situation in Russia will turn out to be. However, I do know, from the Word of God, the Bible, particularly Ezekiel 38-39, that, despite her military prowess, she will ultimately be destroyed by the Lord God Himself. But, before that happens, Israel must be living in a “land of unwalled villages, at rest and living securely without walls and having no bars or gates,” according to Ezekiel 38:11. As one who has been to Israel, I can tell you that she has needed bars, walls and a strong military to keep her Muslim neighbors from “wiping her out as a nation, that the name of Israel be remembered (Psalm 83:4).”

Personally I believe (and I could be wrong), when Israel’s enemies make another attempt to “wipe her off the map,” Israel’s “exceedingly great army” (Ezekiel 37:10) will not only defeat her enemies, but also pave the way for Israel to not only live in “peace and safety,” but also to become “prosperous” which then paves the way for Russia and her allies to attack her “to take a spoil,” only to be defeated and destroyed by the Lord God Himself (Ezekiel 38-39). Glory to God!

So, dearly beloved in Christ, let’s “fix our eyes on Jesus” (Hebrews 12:2) and not only get excited about His coming, but also be about His work until He comes. This headline, from Dr. Joseph Mercola, really got my attention this morning: “The Reset Riddle!”

In the article, Dr. Mercola wrote: “In June, 2020, King Charles III, then the Prince of Wales, announced he was launching a ‘new global initiative, The Great Reset,’ along with WEF’s and His Royal Highness’ Sustainable Markets Initiative.

King Charles’ charitable enterprise spans a ‘global web of trusts, foundations and funds’ intent on creating a control system in which the world’s resources are owned by the richest of the rich, while the rest of the population can be controlled through the allocation of those resources.

Terms like ‘social finance’ and ‘impact investing’ are used to hide an underlying impact agenda, or impact imperialism, which is present throughout Charles’ empire and will lead to digital serfdom. Throughout the pandemic and beyond, you’ve likely heard top political figures and Big Tech leaders talking about the opportunity to ‘reset’ and ‘build back better.’ Founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Klaus Schwab is often said to be the mastermind behind this and is credited with circulating the idea of The Great Reset, of which ‘build back better’ is an integral part. However, there are other nefarious players who may have even more power, namely the newly-crowned King Charles III.

So, let me ask you, “Who is your king?” God, in His Word (Revelation 17:14 and 19:16), answers that question very specifically: “The Lamb of God, the LORD JESUS CHRIST is “the KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS!” Let me remind you that, before the Lord Jesus Christ returns to the earth to set up His kingdom, there will be a “king who will do as he pleases” (Daniel 11:36), aka, the Antichrist. who will appear as a “peacemaker” (Daniel 9:27), only to turn on the world and kill all those who do not worship him (Revelation 13).

Yes, dearly beloved, Jesus is coming! So, let us heed His Word in Mark 13:33, 35, 37, to “keep on the alert,” so that we are not deceived by devil who “prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Yesterday, I gave you “Part One” of the “8 Signs The Control Agenda of the Globalists Is Rapidly Moving Forward.” Today, I will give you the other 4 “signs” of this agenda which is rapidly moving forward which means that Jesus’ coming is getting closer.

#5. Federal agencies in the United States have been purchasing massive amounts of information about U.S. citizens from data brokers, and we are being warned that such information could potentially be used for ‘blackmail, stalking, harassment and public shaming’ of American citizens.”

#6. It has been revealed that the Pentagon has been using very creepy online tools in order to ‘covertly track, locate and identify anyone expressing dissent or even dissatisfaction with the actions of the U. S. military and its leadership.'”

#7. As I discussed yesterday, the UN has developed a global fact-checking system known as ‘iVerify’ in conjunction with big tech companies and Soros-funded organizations. The goal is to be able to police ‘disinformation’ and ‘hate speech’ all over the planet.”

#8. The IMF (International Monetary Fund) is publicly admitting that it is constructing ‘a global CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currencies) platform’ for all of the national central bank digital currencies that will soon be rolled out.”

I find in interesting that the “8 signs that the futuristic control freak agenda of the globalists is rapidly moving forward,” coincide with the “8 signs” Jesus gave us in Matthew 24:1-14, leading up to His return: “false Christs, wars and rumors of war, famines and earthquakes in various places, the persecution of the believers in Jesus, apostasy in the church, an increase of lawlessness and the gospel of the kingdom preached in the whole world which you can also read about in my book: “Birth Pains: An Introduction to Bible Prophecy” which is for sale on Amazon.

So, all this to say, Jesus is coming! I like what Dr. Luke wrote in Luke 21:28: “But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” Did you know there are two redemptions? First, the redemption of our soul/spirit (Romans 3:24) when we become a believer in Jesus. Second, the redemption of our bodies when Jesus comes for us to take us to heaven which you can read about in Romans 8:23 and I Corinthians 15:50-57. I can’t wait! But, wait I must and watch, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please, don’t wait another day, hour, minute or second. This headline, from Prophecy News Watch, really got my attention this morning: “8 Signs: The Control Agenda of the Globalists Is Rapidly Moving Forward.”

Michael Snyder reported: “The future is here and if you enjoy being dominated by control freaks, you are going to love it. ‘Digital identification’ is one of the primary areas the globalists are focusing on right now, and as you will see below, the radical changes that are now being proposed are extremely scary. But most Americans (in my opinion, including Christians) have no idea that any of this is happening. Instead, many of them are obsessing over the relatively meaningless dramas that our corporate news outlets are constantly pushing. Meanwhile, the globalists (Klaus Schwab and friends at the World Economic Forum) are achieving their goals at lightning speed, and there is hardly any resistance at all.

#4. The World Health Organization has adopted ‘the European Union (EU)’s digital COVID-19 certification to establish a global system that will help facilitate global mobility and protect citizens across the world from on-going and future health threats, including pandemics.”

Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wake up America! Wake up Church. Jesus is coming! But, so is the Antichrist! And, if you are a believer in Jesus, you should be watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. Here are some recent headlines from the news which caught my “prophetical” eye:

#1. United Nations Planning Digital ID Linked to Bank Accounts (Technocracy News and Trends)

#2. Doug Casey: The War on Farmers Could Trigger a Famine (Technocracy News and Trends)

#3. Palestinian Terror Group Threatens Israel from Syria (Jewish News Syndicate)

#4. Blinken and Xi pledge to stabilize deteriorated US-China ties, but China rebuffs the main US request (The Associated Press)

In the first article which was posted by Frank Bergman Via Slay News, he reported: “Digital IDs linked with bank or mobile money accounts can improve the delivery of social protection coverage and serve to better reach eligible beneficiaries. Digital technologies may help reduce leakage, errors and costs in the design of social protection programs.” Sounds like Revelation 13 to me.

In the second article, Doug Casey wrote: “Recently we have seen governments in the Netherlands and Canada move to shut down farms under the pretext of climate change. According to John Kerry, Biden’s ‘climate czar,’ similar moves against US farms are in the works.” And Jesus said, in Matthew 24:7 and Mark 13:8, “there will be famines in various places.”

In the third article, the Jewish News Syndicate reported: “A Palestinian terror group based in Syria with ties to Iran and Hezbollah is actively preparing for a new series of attacks inside Israel.” Asaph, in Psalm 83, prophesied of a future attack by Israel’s neighbors to “wipe them out as a nation that the name of Israel be remembered no more (verse 4).” Israel’s response may also fulfill Isaiah 17:1.

In the fourth article, Matthew Lee of the AP, wrote: “Secretary of State Antony Blinken met on Monday with Chinese President Xi Jinping and said they agreed to ‘stabilize’ badly deteriorated US-China ties, but America’s top diplomat left Beijing with his biggest ask rebuffed: better communications between their militaries.” And Jesus said, in Matthew 24:6 and Mark 13:7, “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars” which we are now seeing between Russia, Ukraine and the West, including the U.S., and may also witness, based on Ezekiel 38-39, a Russia-led invasion of Israel to “take a spoil” which leads to the destruction of Russia, Iran and the other invading nations, leaving China and her allies, aka, “the kings from the east (Revelation 16:12-16,) as the next superpower who will ultimately be destroyed by the Lord Jesus at His coming (Revelation 19:11-21).

Keep in mind, these are my thoughts based on my study of Bible prophecy and the news. And, I could be wrong. But, what we, as believers in Jesus, can agree on is that He is coming! And, even though we will not know the “day or the hour” of His return (Mark 13:32), I believe we can know the “season” of His return, based on the “signs” Jesus’ gave us in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21, especially verse 28. So, dearly beloved in Christ, keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. This headline, from The Christian Post, really got my attention this morning: “Promoting LGBT kids’ books, ‘glory holes’: 5 shocking discoveries in Fox News leak.”

CP Reporter Ryan Foley wrote: “Leaked documents reveal that Fox Corporation, the parent company of the influential conservative cable news channel Fox News, has embraced LGBT ideology to a large degree and that one of the employees of the prominent news outlet is ‘openly hostile’ to the channel’s audience. Conservative commentator Matt Walsh, host of The Daily Wire’s ‘The Matt Walsh Show,’ shared the content of the leaked document provided by a Fox News employee in a lengthy Twitter thread Thursday. The documents show Fox Corporation’s support for LGBT ideology and promotion of sexually explicit material to its employees.

Walsh’s latest Twitter thread comes three weeks after he suggested a boycott of Fox News due to a report showing that the cable channel allows trans-identified employees to enter bathrooms for either sex, meaning that men can enter women’s restrooms and vice versa and guarantees them the right to be addressed by their ‘preferred pronouns.’ Additionally, Walsh’s earlier discussion about Fox News brought up the network’s ‘puff peace’ about a trans-identified teenager whose parents began transitioning the child at the age of 5.

Walsh described the cable channel’s promotion of LGBT ideology that its on-air personalities often criticize on their programs as a ‘betrayal,’ concluding that ‘there is absolutely no difference between Fox and any of the other woke corporations that it pretends to criticize.”

This article made me think of I Peter 5:8, 9 where the apostle wrote: “Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith.”

Sadly, based on my experience, many so-called “Republicans” see themselves as “Christians” and “Democrats” as non-Christians/unbelievers. Let me remind you that, one’s salvation has nothing to do with one’s political party. Salvation is based solely by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ, His death, burial and resurrection (Ephesians 2:8, 9; I Corinthians 15:1-4). Blessings, Doug (6/21/23)

Some of you may remember a Wendy’s commercial, from 1984, where an 80 year old woman, Clara Peller, upon looking at a tiny hamburger in a big bun, asked, “Where’s the Beef?” Then, I saw this headline from Dr. Joseph Mercola: “Killing Cows in the Name of Preventing Climate Change.”

In the article, Dr. Mercola reported: “The Irish government recently proposed reducing Irish cow herds by 10% over the next three years to meet the European Union’s climate change targets, which includes a 25% reduction in emissions from farming by 2030” which just happens to be the year that Klaus Schwab and his WEF buddies have in mind for their “Great Reset of the planet. If you don’t believe me, read the United Nations’ “Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” which, believe it or not, has been Satan’s Agenda from the time he was created. Read Isaiah 14:1-21, Ezekiel 28:12-26, Revelation 20:10 for how this all began and how it will all end.

Now, let me tell you about the Lord’s Agenda: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16).”

So, you have a choice: Klaus or Jesus. An eternal hell or heaven. Over the last 24 hours, there has been a “whole lot of shaking going on” around the world with 12 “moderate” (5.0-5.9) quakes in or near: Australia, Japan, Myanmar, the Gulf of California, Panama, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Tonga (5) and 2 “strong” (6.0, 6.4) quakes in or near Mexico and South of Africa!

Those of you who have been following my blog know that I have been studying earthquakes for some time (18 years). And, all because of something Jesus told His disciples in Matthew 24:7 and Mark 13:8: “And in various places there will be famines and earthquakes.” Then, He gave us another clue of what to look for in Matthew 24:8, saying, “But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs (pains)” which made me think of the words “frequency and intensity.” And so, I believe, the more frequent and intense the “signs” of His coming, the closer we are to His return. In the meantime, dear brothers and sisters in Christ, keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please, agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16).
