Good morning, blog readers, from foggy and warm (64 degrees) Wisconsin where, according to the USGS, over the last 24-36 hours, there have been 2 “minor” (2.7, 3.0) quakes in New Jersey and 3 “light” (4.3 3.5, 3.5) earthquakes in California.

And, on the larger side, there were 2 “strong” (6.2, 6.1quakes) in Russia and a “strong” (6.4) quake in the Pacific Antarctic Ridge Region. And, don’t forget the recent “minor” (2.7 and 3.0) quakes in New Jersey where, our daughter, Laura, lives and reports from. Question: “Are these quakes the “calm before the storm?” As Jesus told His disciples in Mark 13:33, 35, 37, so I tell you, “stay on the alert” and keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, you are running out of time. Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and warm (71 degrees) Wisconsin where I saw this prophetic headline from Live Science: “Dormant volcano erupts in Russia for the first time in around 500 years, days after magnitude (8.8) megaquake!” Wow! Wow! Wow! Sounds a lot like something out of Revelation

Patrick Pester reported for Live Science: “Krashennikov volcano has erupted on Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula. This is the second volcano to erupt in the region following the magnitude 8.8 (great) quake on July 30.” Sounds a lot like Revelation 6:12-17 to me. Read these verses if you dare. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please, I beg you, become one today by agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior (Jesus) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). And, if you do, I’ll see you in heaven. If not, then, Satan and hell are waiting for you. Good afternoon, blog readers, from sunny and warm (78 degrees) Wisconsin where, according to the USGS, there was a “slight” (3.3) earthquake today in Astaria, Kansas which falls into my category of “you just never know where there could be an earthquake on any day!” According to Wikipedia and the 2020 census, there were 428 people, 169 households and 117 families in Assaria. And, as I have said numerous times before, you just never know where the next earthquake(s) are going to be. Remember, Jesus is coming! Question: “How do I know?” Answer: “Birth pains/signs!” So, watch for the “signs” Jesus gave us in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. As the “birth pains (Matthew 24:8) or “signs” of Jesus’ return increase in “frequency and intensity,” we know we are getting closer to His return. So, keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. Good afternoon, blog readers, from sunny and warm (77 degrees) Wisconsin where this recent headline from “Live Science” was a real blessing: “Scientists Explain why Russia’s magnitude 8.8 earthquake Kamchatka Peninsula on Tuesday officials warned that damaging tsunami waves earthquake didn’t trigger a massive tsunami.”

Professor Philip LIU, from Texas A&M University wrote: “When a magnitude 8.8 earthquake rocked Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula on Tuesday, officials warned that damaging tsunami waves could follow. Instead, the waves that reached Hawaii and the U.S. Coast proved smaller than initially feared. Despite the earthquake’s massive size, tsunami waves that reached Hawaii and the U.S. West Coast Shores did not cause damage, with Hawaii’s Governor Josh Green reporting ‘not a wave of consequence.’ It’s kind of a blessing.’ Really? I (Doug) would say, “a huge blessing!” Thank You, Jesus!

Good morning, blog readers, from mostly sunny and cool (52 degrees) Wisconsin where, according to the USGS, there were no “great (8.0+) earthquakes” for the first time in 2 days. John Feng, from Live Science, wrote:

“An 8.8-magnitude earthquake off Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula early Wednesday triggered a tsunami that sent waves across the Pacific, prompting evacuations and emergency declarations from Russia to Hawaii. The quake is tied for the sixth strongest ever recorded and was upgraded from an initial 8.0 reading. What you need to know: “Tsunami waves up to 3.6 feet reached California, with warnings issued across the West Coast. Authorities in French Polynesia issued urgent warnings as tsunami waves up to 13 feet are expected to reach parts of the Marquesas Islands. Hawaii saw water pull back by as much as 30 feet, but no significant damage has been reported. Russia reported injuries and building damage in in Petropavlovsk-kam-chatsky with widespread outages. The Philippines, Mexico, New Zealand, and several Pacific Islands also activated tsunami protocols. In Alaska, waves nearing three feet were recorded in Adak; the advisory extended to the Aleutians and the Panhandle.
