Good morning, blog readers, from clear and cool (28 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: the heavens declaring the glory of God (Psalm 19:1), a shooting star and the dog who, for some reason, does not like me in his neighborhood and let the neighbors and me know about it! Thank You, Jesus, for all of Your creation, including the dog!

These two headlines got my attention and applause this morning:

#1. EU condemns Hamas use of hospitals and human shields (Jewish News Syndicate)

#2. Texas Governor Signs Bill Banning COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates (Washington Examiner, November 13, 2023)

In the first article, the JNS Staff reported: “Josep Borrell, the European Union ‘s high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, on Sunday condemned the Hamas terror group’s use of ‘hospitals and human shields.’ Borrell also called for ‘immediate pauses in hostilities and the establishment of humanitarian corridors’ for Gaza’s civilian population.”

And, in the second article, Dr. Joseph Mercola wrote: “Texas employers will no longer be allowed to mandate COVID-19 shots as a condition of employment, thanks to a new law passed by the Texas legislature and signed by the governor.

Governor Greg Abbott signed the bill November 10, 2023. The law also imposes a $50,000 fine, per violation, against employers who don’t abide by it. In such cases, the Texas attorney general may also file his own charges against violators. The Texas Supreme Court has already ruled that school districts cannot impose vaccines mandates on their employees. Plus, a different law banning local governments from implementing COVID-related shots, masks and shutdowns took effect 7/1/23.”

Yes, dearly beloved in Christ, no matter what the EU or Texas Governor says or does, Jesus’ coming is still right on schedule. But, sadly, most people, including many Christians, are not talking about it. Why is that? Now, I could be wrong, but I am thinking they are too busy with other things or other subjects in the Bible, even though Bible prophecy is roughly about 30% of Scripture. It certainly didn’t help when Pastor Rick Warren, in one of his books, quoted Jesus as saying, Bible prophecy is none of our business!” And yet, John wrote, in Revelation 19:10, “For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Charles Ryrie commented on this verse: “Prophecy is designed to reveal the Lord Jesus.”

Good morning, blog readers, from clear and cool (39 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I did not see any of God’s creatures, but did hear the honking of geese preparing for flight! Thank You, Jesus, I can still hear!

This headline, from yesterday’s Jewish News Syndicate, caught my eye: “IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) fighter jets strike targets in Syria after rocket fire.”

In the article, the JNS staff reported: “Israeli Air Force jets struck terrorist infrastructure in Syria overnight Saturday in response to projectiles launched towards the Israeli Golan Heights several hours earlier. The military said that two projectiles landed in open fields, causing no injuries or damage. The military did not elaborate on the nature of the targets in Syria.”

Let me remind you again of the prophecy of Isaiah 17:1 where the prophet wrote: “The oracle concerning Damascus. Behold, Damascus is about to be removed from being a city, and it will become a fallen ruin.” Note: And, as I have said before (and I could be wrong), that prophecy could actually be fulfilled in our lifetime. So, stay tuned, dearly beloved in Christ, and keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes.

And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, please don’t wait because Jesus warned us, in Matthew 24:21, of a coming time known as the “great tribulation,” which will be the “worst time in human history.” So, here is what you need to do: Agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Good morning, blog readers, from mostly cloudy and cool (40 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I did not see any of God’s creatures, not even Rudolph the red nose reindeer!

This headline, from yesterday’s Times of Israel, caught my eye this morning: “Muslim leaders blast Israeli ‘crimes’; Iran: Solution is Palestine from river to sea.” Basically, what this expression is calling for is, according to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, to “designate the Israeli army as a terrorist organization for its conduct in Gaza and the elimination of the State of Israel.”

Let me remind you that calls for the destruction of Israel are nothing new. In fact, as I have said before, Asaph wrote a long time ago, in Psalm 83, that the the enemies of Israel say, “Come, and let us wipe them (the Israelis) out as a nation, that the name of Israel be remembered no more.”

And, let me also remind you that, according to Jeremiah 27:35-37, as long as the sun, the moon and the stars exist, there will always be an Israel. But, let me add a word of warning to the Jews. In order for you to enter the kingdom of God, you will need to agree with God you are sinners who need a Savior/Messiah Who is Jesus and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life,

Good morning, blog readers, from mostly sunny and cold (26 degrees) Wisconsin where, get this, on my morning walk, I saw: a deer running in our neighborhood with a red light on it! Really! Thank You, Jesus!

And, speaking of Jesus, He said, in Matthew 24:7 and Mark 13:8, that, one of the “signs” leading up to His return would be “earthquakes in various places.” Case in point: over the last week, there were, according to the USGS, 1 “major” (7.1), 3 “strong” (6.1, 6.7, 6.7) and 40 “moderate” (5.0-5.9) quakes in 23 “different places” (Alaska, American Samoa, the Banda Sea, Chile, China, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Iceland, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, Nepal, the North Mariana Islands, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Peru, Russia, the Solomon Islands, the South Indian Ocean, Texas, Timor Leste and Vanuatu).

Yes, dearly beloved in Christ, Jesus is coming! Are you ready? Are you excited? If you can’t answer “yes” to both questions, something is wrong. Question: “Are you a believer in Jesus? in other words, have you agreed with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believed He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16)?” If you have not, there’s good news; you still have time to take care of that today. Then, once you become a believer in Jesus, find a church which preaches the Truth (not all churches do), then watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. Good morning, blog readers, from clear and cool (33 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: Venus, the Big Dipper, the Little Dipper and countless other stars declaring the glory of God (Psalm 19:1)! Thank You, Jesus!

The above headline clearly reveals who our and Israel’s main enemies are. In fact, a recent New York Times’ article stated: “Russia, China, Iran helping Hamas wage war on Israel online.” The Times staff reported: “The governments of Russia, China, and Iran are actively assisting the Hamas terror organization in the online battlefield as the terrorist organization continues the war against Israel it launched with its massacre of over 1,400 Israelis on October 7.

The three nations have used their state media to support the Hamas narrative and attack Israel for defending itself following the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, with a focus on social media to turn people against the Jewish State. Russian and Iran have been particularly active in this endeavor. Iran actively supports Hamas and the October 7 massacre and seeks the destruction of the State of Israel. Russia and China seek to undermine the West, in particular the United States, with false claims of Israeli war crimes.” Note: Sadly, it seems to be working.

I believe (and I could be wrong) Israel’s “exceedingly great army” (Ezekiel 37:10) will take care of Hamas and Israel’s other Muslim neighbors (Psalm 83) and, the Lord God Himself will take care of Russia and Iran (Ezekiel 38, 39) and the “kings from the east,” including China, at His second coming (Revelation 16:12-16; 19:11-21). I also believe (and I could be wrong), we may actually live to see the first two prophecies fulfilled before Jesus comes for His bride, the church.

So, what are we, as believers in Jesus, to do until He comes? You should know the drill by now: Watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, please become one today by simply agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and clear Wisconsin where, on my morning walk under clear skies, I saw a sliver of the moon and Venus almost in conjunction! Thank You, Jesus!

Over the last 24 hours, there was a “moderate” (5.2) earthquake in Coalson Draw, Texas, about 34 miles south of the Texas-New Mexico border. So far, there have been 13 “minor” aftershocks.

Then, there was this headline, from yesterday’s U.S. News, which really got my attention: “Mount St. Helens records more than 400 earthquakes since mid-July, but no signs of imminent eruption.”

Then, there was this headline from yesterday’s Associated Press: “US launches airstrike on site in Syria in response to attacks by Iranian-backed militias. In the article, the AP Staff reported: “The U.S. carried out an airstrike on a weapons warehouse in eastern Syria used by Iranian-backed militias, in retaliation for what has been a growing number of attacks on bases housing U.S. troops in the region for the past several weeks, the Pentagon said.”

This may be significant in light of the prophecy of Isaiah 17:1 where the prophet wrote: “The oracle concerning Damascus. Behold, Damascus is about to be removed from being a city, and it will become a fallen ruin.” I used to think to think that Israel would most likely be responsible for this prophecy to be fulfilled. Now I am thinking the U.S. might just have something to do with it. Time and the Lord will tell.

I don’t know about you, but I am thankful that, even though I believe (and I could be wrong) we are still in the early stages of the “birth pains” of Bible prophecy being fulfilled, there still is time for our unsaved loved ones to be saved. So, how does that happen? Jesus said, in Mark 1:15, “Repent and believe in the gospel.” The word’ repent” simply means you agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). That’s it. Then, live out your life for Jesus by watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. Looking forward to seeing you in heaven, if not sooner. Good morning, blog readers, from rainy, thundering and lightening Wisconsin where. on my morning walk, I got soaked and headed home!

After I got home and dried off, I turned on the news and saw lots of people in this country celebrating a victory for abortion rights. And so, I decided to get out my Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance and look up the expression “how long” and this is what I found:

#1. Exodus 10:3. And Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said to him: “How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me?”

#2. Exodus 16:28. Then the Lord said to Moses, “How long do you refuse to keep My commandments and My instructions?”

#3. Numbers 14:11. And the Lord said to Moses, “How long will this people spurn Me? And how long will they not believe in Me, despite all the signs which I have performed in their midst?”

#4, 5. Numbers 14:26-29. And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, “How long shall I bear with this evil congregation who are grumbling against Me? I have heard the complaints of the sons of Israel, which they are making against Me. Say to them, ‘as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will surely do to you; your corpses shall fall in this wilderness, even all your numbered men, according to your complete number from twenty years old and upward, who have grumbled against Me.”

These are just some of the “how long” expressions from the Lord God in the Bible. And, while one group of Americans are celebrating the results of the election and another is mourning, let’s just say that God is not not happy with either group for their pride, self-righteousness and religion which saves no one, but results in a ticket to hell for eternity.

And yet, the Scriptures remind us that God is so patient, as we read, in II Peter 3:9, “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” We read, in Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates HIs own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Let me remind you that your church or religion or good works or country is not going to save you from your sins; only Christ can do that. So, swallow your pride and agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). This rent and sad headline, from The Defender, really got my attention: “Insurance Industry Execs ‘Alarmed’ by Surge in Deaths Among Young People – But Stop Short of Blaming COVID Shots!”

In the article, Mike Capuzzo wrote: “Executives at the largest insurance companies in the United States are alarmed that teenagers, young and white-collar Americans in the prime of their life are inexplicably dying at a record pace, causing a ‘monumental outflow’ of death claims and drag on profits that is shaking the industry and causing some to take a fresh look at the problem.

According to an October 26 report in InsuranceNewsNet, U.S. insurance companies expected higherthan-normal payouts from excess deaths during the COVID-19 pandemic. Insurers saw benefits rise 15.4% in 2020, the biggest one-year increase since the 1918 Spanish flu epidemic, followed by a record $100.28 billion – nearly double the historic norm – in total death benefits paid out by the industry in 2021.

The numbers were naturally forecasted to climb during the pandemic, but some industry and health authorities are concerned the rates haven’t greatly diminished as COVID infection rates have declined, ‘InsuranceNewsNet reported.”

According to InsuranceNewsNet, insurers are especially concerned by data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that show ‘mortality rates alarmingly rising for different categories, including younger adult mortality rates that are up more than 20% above historic norms in 2023. The CDC numbers, also reported in August, show the death rate for Americans ages 15-45 rose20-40% above normal in 2020, and soared in 2021, to a nearly 30% death increase for 15 year-olds and a more than 45% increase for 45-year-olds.”

And yet, we are still being told by the so-called “authorities,”, that the “vaccines” are still “safe and effective.” Wake up, America, and stop drinking the Kool-Aid of lies that are now causing many deaths and injuries. And, get ready for the next “pandemic and vaccines” which, along with wars, may very well be “forced” on us, as we get closer to the Lord’s return. And, if you don’t believe me, believe Jesus and read Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21 or my book: “Birth Pains: An Introduction to Bible Prophecy” which, as of this morning, you can get on Amazon for $4.21.

This headline, from yesterday’s New York Times and Israel National News, got my attention this morning: “Russia, China, Iran Helping Hamas wage war on Israel online.”

In the article, the INN staff reported: “Massive disinformation campaign waged by illiberal states to undermine support for Israel and Western democracies follows Hamas massacre. The governments of Russia, China and Iran are actively assisting the Hamas organization in the online battlefield with a focus on using social media to turn people against the Jewish state. Russian and Iran have been particularly active in this endeavor. Iran actively supports Hamas and the October 7 massacre and seeks the destruction of the State of Israel. Russia and China seek to undermine the West, in particular, the United States, with false claims of Israeli war crimes.

Rafi Mendelsohn, vice president at Cyabra, a social media intelligence company in Tel Aviv, told the Times that the disinformation campaign launched by Russia, China, and Iran during the current war is unprecedented in its scope and scale.

“Its being seen by millions, hundreds of millions of people around the world and its impacting the war in a way that is probably just as effective as any other tactic on the ground,” Mendelsohn said. Cyabra has documented about 40,000 bots and fake accounts used to spread pro-Hamas and anti-Israel disinformation.”

All I can say of these three organizations is, quoting Jesus, “You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”

Now, having said this about Russia, China and Iran, let me also say that Israel and the United States haven’t always been truthful as well about all kinds of things like: the origin of COVID-19, the vaccines which, as I have said before, are not really vaccines, but “experimental gene therapies” with no liability which means if you die or are wounded from the vaccine, there is no recourse.

We know, from Scriptures, like Psalm 83, Ezekiel 38-39 and Revelation 6-19 that that the Lord God Himself will judge the above nations and all the others who have rejected Jesus as their Messiah and Savior, sending them and all the unbelievers of all time to an eternity in hell. So, what about you? Have you agreed with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believed He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16).. If you have, then you will have an eternal life in heaven. If not, you are on your way to an eternal hell. Please know God loves you; I do too and am praying I will see you in heaven. Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cool (30 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: a deer and heard the sound of a freight train! Thank You, Jesus, I am still able to see and hear!

This recent headline, from Live Science, got my attention: “15 signs the sun is gearing up for its explosive peak – the solar maximum.”

In the article, Harry Baker reported: “Experts believe the upcoming solar maximum could be more active and arrive sooner than previously expected. Here are 15 signs that they are right. Roughly every 11 years, the sun slowly transitions from solar minimum, when our star is a smooth and calm ball of plasma, to solar maximum, when it becomes a chaotic, fiery mass littered with dark, planet-size sunspots that spew out solar storms.

During solar maximum, the likelihood of Earth being bombarded by these stellar storms goes up dramatically. And, such solar storms can mess up radio signals, power infrastructure, space missions and satellites in low-Earth orbit.

Scientists initially believed the next solar maximum would likely arrive sometime in 2025 and that the peak in solar activity would be just as underwhelming as the last, below-average solar maximum. But, in an explosive twist, experts revealed to Live Science that the solar maximum could likely arrive sooner and be more powerful than previously forecast. And, on October 25, NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center released an ‘updated prediction’ for Solar Cycle 25 which confirms that these experts were right.”

And, Jesus said, in Luke 21:20-28, “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is at hand. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, and let those who are in the midst of the city depart, and let not those who are in the country enter the city; because these are days of vengeance, in order that all things which are written may be fulfilled. Woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse babes in those days; for there will be great distress upon the land, and wrath to this people, and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN A CLOUD with power and great glory. But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near.”

Personally, I believe that Luke 21:20-28 refers to a future time during the 2nd half of the so-called “Tribulation” when the Antichrist will stop the temple sacrifices, go into the rebuilt temple in Jerusalem and declare to the world that he alone is God with the death penalty for all who do not worship him. Then, Jesus will come back to the earth, defeat His enemies and set up His kingdom (Revelation 19:11-20:10). I can’t wait. But, wait I must and watch, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, become one right now by agreeing with God You are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16).
