MATTHEW 24:12!

Good morning, blog readers, from stormy and warm (74 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk with my notebook, I saw: 28 robins, 4 deer, 2 bunnies, 2 dogs, a red-winged blackbird, a cardinal and a dove! Thank You, Jesus!

As many of you know, yesterday there was an attempt to assassinate the former President of the United States, Donald Trump, who was grazed by a bullet and is expected to be okay (if you can ever be “okay” after an assassination attempt on your life.

This made me think of Matthew 24 where, in verse 12, Jesus told His disciples that, one of the “signs” leading up to His return, would be an “increase of lawlessness because most people’s love will grow cold.” So, do me a favor: Get out your Bible, turn to the above scriptures I have just mentioned, watch the news and see for yourself if the “signs” Jesus’ gave us in Matthew, Mark and Luke are happening. And, if don’t have a Bible, you can get my book, “Birth Pains: An Introduction to Bible Prophecy” by D. B. Livingston which is available at Amazon.

Whether you realize it or not, we are living in a time when it seems “most people’s love has grown cold and lawlessness has been increased” which, if true, means Jesus’ return could be sooner than you think. And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, please know your time is running out. So, simply agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for Your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). FALSE PROPHETS CONDEMED!

Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and warm (74 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I forgot my notebook and lost track of the exact number of birds and animals I saw. However, I do remember seeing blackbirds, bunnies, cranes crows, deer, doves and robins! Thank You, Jesus!

Back in Ezekiel 13:1-10, the prophet wrote: “Then the word of the Lord came to me saying, ‘Son of Man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy from their own inspiration, ”Listen to the word of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God, ‘Woe to the foolish prophets who are following their own spirit and have seen nothing. ‘O Israel, your prophets have been like foxes among ruins. ‘You have not gone up into the breaches, nor did you build the wall around the house of Israel to stand in the battle on the day of the Lord. “They see falsehood and lying divination who are saying, ‘The Lord declares,’ when the Lord has not sent them; yet they hope for the fulfillment of their word. ‘Did you not see a false vision and speak a lying divination, when you said, ‘the Lord declares,’ but it is not I who have spoken?'” Therefore, thus says the Lord God, “Because you have spoken falsehood and seen a lie, therefore behold, I am against you,” declares the Lord God. So my hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will have no place in the council of My people, nor will they be written down in the register of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel, that you may know that I am the Lord God. It is definitely because they have misled My people by saying, ‘Peace’ when there is no peace.'”

I (Doug) wonder: “What will it take to wake up the prophets and people of Israel to the fact that their Messiah (Jesus of Nazareth) has come and that, until they recognize Him as their Messiah and Savior, they will continue to struggle big time in the land of Israel and all over the world which we are now seeing in their struggles with their enemies, even today. Read Ezekiel 38-39; then, 40-48 and you will see that God is not done with Israel and His kingdom will come eventually. Glory to God!

EARTHQUAKE WATCH!

Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and warm (61 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 39 robins, 5 doves, 4 crows, 4 deer, 3 bunnies, 2 red-winged blackbirds and, for the first time this year, 2 seagulls! Thank You, Jesus!

Recently, I have been watching the Pacific Northwest for the possibility of a “strong” (6.0-6.9 or greater earthquake in that region. Yesterday, there was a “moderate” (5.4) and a “strong” (6.4) in that region which, today, were followed by two “light” (4.8, 4.7) quakes. And, even though these quakes seem to be decreasing in magnitude, they still could increase in frequency and intensity like “birth pains” which Jesus prophesied, in Matthew 24:8, would happen before His return. So, stay tuned, dearly beloved, and keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes.

And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, why not become one today by simply agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). DIGITALIZED IDENTITIES!

Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and humid Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 43 robins, 6 deer (including 2 fawns), 4 red-winged blackbirds, a crow, a dove and a finch! Thank You, Jesus!

This recent headline got my attention: “U.S. Dept. of Commerce to Digitalize the Identities of All Americans Receiving ‘Public Benefits.'”

In the article, I read: “Like your public benefits?’ You can keep your public benefits at a price: your freedom. The Federal Government has adopted a ‘whole-of-government’ campaign to enforce the adoption of a universal ID. When Universal Basic Income is adopted in the future, only the ‘tagged and bagged’ will be on the list; others can eat sawdust. This is the heartbeat of Technocracy that has been in play since 1932.

Certainly, this could lead to the “mark of the beast” technology which the apostle John wrote about in Revelation 13 which I would encourage you to read if you haven’t already done so.

Almost time for work. So, this will be brief. Also of note, over the last 24 hours, there was a “major” (7.1) earthquake in the Philippines. Remember, Jesus said that, one of the “signs” leading up to His return, would be: “earthquakes in different places (Matthew 24:7; Mark 13:8 and Luke 21:11). And, He also said, in Matthew 24:8, these “signs” would come like “birth pains.”, thus increasing in “frequency and intensity” until Jesus comes. DESTRUCTION or SALVATION?

This headline, from yesterday’s Jewish News Syndicate (JNS), did not come as a surprise to me: “Iranian President-elect reiterates commitment to destroying Israel.”

In the article, the JNS staff reported: “Iran’s President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian on Monday reaffirmed Tehran’s dedication to destroying Israel, saying its proxies across the region will not allow the Jewish state’s ‘criminal policies’ to continue. “The Islamic Republic has always supported the resistance of the people of the region against the illegitimate Zionist regime. The support of the resistance is rooted in the fundamental policies of the Islamic Regimes,” Pezeshkian wrote in a missive to Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah. I am certain that the resistance movements in the region will not allow this regime to continue its warmongering and criminal policies against the oppressed people of Palestine and other nations of the region,” Iranian media quoted the supposed reformer president as saying. Pezeshkian, a former heart surgeon and longtime lawmaker born in 1954 to an Iranian Azerbaijani father and Kurdish mother, told local media ahead of his election win that, if he were elected, he would “try to have friendly relations with all countries except Israel.”

Sadly, down through the ages, even non-Muslims, like Martin Luther, have called for the “killing of Jews and the burning down of their synagogues.” Therefore, it is important for those of us who call ourselves “Christians,” to understand that most Jews and so-called “Christians” have rejected Christ as their Lord and Savior. And, as a result, they will not enter the kingdom of God when they die. In fact, according to Zechariah 14:8, 9, only one third of the Jews will enter the kingdom when the Messiah (Jesus) returns to the earth. Please know: not everyone who thinks he or she is on their way to heaven or the kingdom on earth, that there is only one way to get there: by agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believing He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). QUAKES & STORMS!

Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and warm (62 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 24 robins, 17 red-winged blackbirds, a record 8 bunnies, 3 cardinals, 3 doves, 3 finches, a deer, a dog and a squirrel! Thank You, Jesus!

Yesterday, I received this report from the Government of Canada: “We are currently experiencing a swarm of earthquakes offshore Vancouver Island, at the intersection of the northern Juan de Fuca Ridge, Sovanco Fracture Zone, and Nootka Fault Zone.” Among these earthquakes were:

a 4.4 (227 km SW of Port Alice, BC (British Columbia), a 5.1, 224 km SW of Port Alice, BC – offshore, a 3.9 230 km WSW of Tofino, BC -offshore, a 5.2, 225 km SW of Port Alice, BC – offshore and a 3.9, 76 KM ENE of Missoula, Montana.”

Note: According to the American Richter Scale, these quakes would fall into the categories of “minor” (3.0-3.9) to “moderate” (5.0-5.9). So, stay tuned and watch to see if these will increase in “frequency and intensity” like “birth pains,” as Jesus prophesied, before His return in Matthew 24:8.

Then, there was this headline from a recent Washington Post: “Forecast group predicts busiest hurricane season on record with 33 storms!” Keep in mind, Jesus also said, in Luke 21:25, 26, “And there will be signs in the sun, the moon and the stars and upon the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” As Arte Johnson once said: “Very interesting!”

So, stay tuned, dearly beloved in Christ, and keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. RUSSIA/IRAN & HOLOGRAMS!

Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and warm (62 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 36 robins, 4 bunnies, 4 doves, 3 crows, 2 deer, 2 red-winged blackbirds and a plane! Thank You, Jesus! This headline, from Breaking Defense. really got my attention this morning:

#1. What the Russa-Iran ‘comprehensive agreement’ means for Western security interests.

#2. Holograms changing the way doctors visit patients (Action News 7, Albuquerque, NM).

In the first article, Agnes Helou reported: “A comprehensive agreement might formalize closer political ties, potentially strengthening their shared opposition to the West, particularly in light of the Ukraine conflict and sanctions,” Mohammed Soliman, director of Strategic Technologies and Cyber Security Program at the Middle East Institute said. Russia and Iran are getting closer to signing a ‘comprehensive agreement’ furthering military cooperation, which experts told Breaking Defense will ‘formalize’ their defense collaboration against Western security interests. In 2001, Tehran and Moscow signed a 20-year agreement, and now both sides have agreed again to sign a new agreement. Jonathan Lord, director of the Middle East security program at the Center for a New American Security, said the agreement won’t break new ground, ‘but will showcase just how deep the cooperation has grown between these two revisionist powers.'” See Ezekiel 38-39.

In the second article, Action 7 News reported: “At first glance, Crescent Regional Hospital in Lancaster, Texas, appears to be an everyday hospital, but one thing separates it from others. Dr. Saad Hussain, a cardiologist based in Dallas, is able at Crescent Regional from several cities away. He met with a patient via a 3D, real-time, life-sized hologram.to treat a patient. The hospital’s CEO, Raji Kumar, said her hospital is the first in the United States to implement this type of technology. “I’m very excited to bring some of this technology to North Texas,” Kumar said in an interview with ABC News.”

This reminded me of the prophecy of Revelation 1311-15 where John wrote: “And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. And he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed. And he performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the presence of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image of the beast who had the wound of the sword and has come to life. And there was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast might even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the to be killed.”

Now, I am no expert on “the image of the beast,” but it sounds to me a lot like this could very well be a hologram which “can speak and, even kill, those who do not worship the image of the beast (Revelation 13:15).” Scary stuff, but not for the believers in Jesus who I believe (not all Christians do) that Lord Jesus will come for His bride, the church, made up of all who have been saved by God’s grace through faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 15:1-4). for eternal life (John 3:16).

Yes, dearly beloved, Jesus is coming! So, let’s get excited and keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. TELLING the TRUTH!

Good morning, blog readers, from mostly sunny/ partly cloudy and warm (62 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 26 robins, 11 red-winged blackbirds, 5 crows, 5 grackles, 4 doves, 3 bunnies, 2 cardinals and a deer! Thank You, Jesus!

This headline, from a recent post by Dr. Joseph Mercola, was both stunning and sad: “Autopsies Link 73.9% of Post-Jab Deaths to the Shot!” In the article, Dr. Mercola reported: “The study, initially censored by The Lancet, analyzed 325 autopsy cases and found cardiovascular issues were the most common cause of death, followed by blood and respiratory problems. Researchers suggest the spike protein in COVID-19 vaccines may be responsible for side effects, potentially causing inflammation and clotting in various tissues and organs. Another study in South Korea found increased incidences of mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s Disease within three months of COVID-19 vaccination, particularly with mRNA vaccines. The mean time from vaccination to death was 14.3 days, but most deaths occurred within a week of the last shot.”

I find it interesting and really sad, that Dr. Anthony Fauci who coined the phrase: “follow the science,” chose not to take his own advice which has now resulted in many, .many deaths and injuries without any liability. And yet, let me point out that Dr. Fauci and his associates will, one day, stand before a holy God and have to give an account for their actions. In the meantime, we are not to judge our enemies, but to love and pray for them, as Jesus commanded us to do in Matthew 5:44. And so, dear brothers and sisters in Christ, let us love and pray for Dr. Fauci and his associates that, if they don’t have faith in the Lord Jesus, they would recognize their sin and need of a Savior and believe that Jesus died on a cross for their sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all their sins and give them eternal life (John 3:16). LIMITS to GROWTH!

Good morning, blog readers, from partly sunny/cloudy and cool (58 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 22 robins, 3 bunnies, 3 deer, a cardinal, crow and a dove! Thank You, Jesus!

This recent headline, “Ready for the Soft Kill,” really grabbed my attention this morning. In the article, I read: “Back in 2010. Mark Notaras and Darek Gondor of the United Nations University (UNU) wrote a piece about Meadows explaining his plan to limit population growth in order to ‘save the world.’ Meadows, a professor and co-author of ‘The Limits to Growth,’ made statements back then about how mass depopulation is the only way to ensure that the planet will remain inhabitable moving into the future. “If the present trends in world population, industrialization, pollution, food production and resource depletion continue unchanged, the limits to growth on this planet will be reached sometime within the nest 100 years,” Meadows said at the time. He continued: “Today, we are at a point in human history where habits that once worked well don’t work anymore. It has been nearly 14 years since Meadows was quoted by these two UNU writers as having made such statements, and even back then they said it ‘sounds reasonable’ compared to how it would have sounded back in, say, 1972. In 2010, much of the West had already been indoctrinated into climate cultism as the ‘final solution’ to the problem of human industrial activity, which is supposedly ‘melting’ the planet- in today’s vernacular, boiling the oceans. His solution? Kill off billions of people. albeit slowly and peacefully, i. e., through euthanasia.”

Personally, I believe (and I could be wrong), but, according to Revelation 6:7, 8, the Lord Jesus will, at sometime in the future, kill off a fourth of the world population in one of His judgments. Then, according to Revelation 9:18, He will kill off another “third” of the population in another judgment.

I also don’t believe the “true church” which is made up of all the “born-again” believers in Jesus who have been saved by God’s grace through in Christ, His death, burial and resurrection (Ephesians 2:8, 9; I Corinthians 15:1-4) will be here to see this happen. But, I find it interesting that the world is making plans to limit the population and that the Lord will see that it happens.

So, let me ask you: “Do you believe that Jesus died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16)? If you do, then you are on your way to heaven, If not, then hell is where you will spend your eternity. So, please, choose wisely and know I am praying I will see you in heaven. Love, Doug (7/6/24)

TOFINO the GREAT?

Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and warm (64 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 36 robins, 8 grackles, 5 deer, 5 doves, 4 bunnies, 4 crows and 3 cardinals! Thank You, Jesus!

According to the USGS, over the last 48 hours, there have now been: 7 “light” (4.0, 4.0, 4.3, 4.3, 4.4, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6) and 1 “moderate” (5.7) earthquake in the Tofino, Canada area near Vancouver Island. Tofino has a population of 1.932, as of 2016 and bears watching for what seismologists have called “the big one” which could be devastating upon the population and buildings.

And speaking of large or “great earthquakes” (8.0+ on the Richer Scale), Dr. Luke is the only gospel writer who, in Luke 21:11, quotes Jesus as saying that one of the signs leading up to Jesus’ return “will be great earthquakes.” And, if you want to see what these will be like, check out Revelation 6:12-14, 11:13 and 16:18-21.

Now, personally, I do not believe we will be around for these “great judgments,” as I believe (not all Christians do) in a pre-tribulation “rapture of the church” when according to I Thessalonians 4:13-18, all the born again believers in Jesus will escape God’s wrath to come and be taken up to heaven by Jesus and receive a “glorified body” like HIs for eternity (I Corinthians 15:50-57.

So, let me ask you again: “If you were to die today, would you be 100% sure you would be with Jesus in heaven for eternity?” Please know you can know for sure by agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16).
