Today’s headline, from Dr. Joseph Mercola, once again reveals that the “father of lies,” aka, the devil, is very much alive and active in the medical world and our government : “Breaking – World-Renowned Vaccinologist Publishes Paper Admitting Lack of Vaccine Safety Studies.”

In the article, Dr. Mercola reported: “dr. Stanley Plotkin co-authored a paper in the New England Journal of Medicine admitting significant gaps in vaccine safety research, contradicting decades of claims that vaccines are thoroughly studied and safe. The paper acknowledges inadequacies in prelicensure clinical trials and reveals a lack of dedicated funding for post-approval vaccine safety studies in the U.S. Over 76% of vaccine-related health outcomes examined by the Institute of Medicine lacked sufficient evidence to determine causality, challenging assertions that vaccine safety is settled science. A study by Dr. Paul Thomas found higher rates of various health issues in vaccinated children compared to unvaccinated children, highlighting the need for more independent research. Critics argue the authors’ proposed solutions and motivations suggest an attempt to boost public confidence in vaccines rather than critically examine vaccine safety. concerns. This admission comes after decades of the medical establishment insisting that vaccines are among the most thoroughly studied and safest medical interventions.”

Wow! How sad! And, I might add, how evil to have duped the public into believing the vaccines were safe when many of them weren’t. More lies from the “liar and father of lies,” the devil himself, (John 8:44). Please know that, one day, you will stand before the Lord Jesus and be accountable to Him for your lies. But, there’s “good news” – you can be forgiven of all your sins by agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Good morning, blog readers, from mostly sunny and warm (64 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, for the first time in 18 years, I did not see any birds or animals! Question #1: “Do they know something we, humans, don’t?” Stay tuned! Question #2: “Did you know that even the animal world longs for the return of Christ and a restored Garden of Eden? In the meantime, this recent headline, from Israel Hayom, is cause for concern in the USA: “Congress : US military not prepared to face Russia, China.”

The Makor Rishon Staff reported: “According to a US congressional report, the United States lacks sufficient forces to simultaneously confront Russia and China. The website states that the Pentagon’s current strategy is outdated, the U.S. military is inadequately structured, and the American industrial base is insufficient to address the dual threat of Russia and China, according to a new, powerful formal review. A ‘bipartisan call to arms’ is urgently needed so that the United States can make the major changes and significant investments now rather than wait for the next Pearl Harbor or 9/11.”

Let me remind you again, based on God’s prophetic word, at sometime in the future, Russia, Iran and a host of other nations will, at a time when Israel is living in peace (certainly not now), invade Israel to “take a spoil,” only to be destroyed by the Lord God Himself (Ezekiel 38-39). Then, at a later time, the armies of the world, including China, North Korea and the other “kings from the east” will march to Megiddo and be destroyed by the Lord Jesus Christ at His second coming to destroy His enemies and set up His kingdom (Revelation 16:12-16; 19:11-20:10) which eventually leads to a “new heaven and a new earth for the believers in Jesus for eternity (Revelation 21-22).

Yes, dearly beloved in Christ, we are living in perilous times. But, we still have the Lord’s work to do: to reach the lost for Christ and to build up the Body of Christ. So, let’s get with it while we watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please become one today by agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He did on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). This headline, from a recent Jerusalem Post, really got my attention this morning: “Iran plans to attack Israel on Tisha B’Av – the Jewish day of disasters, in response to the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. August 12 and ends on August 13, the site reported on Friday.

In the article, the JP staff reported: “Western intelligence sources told Sky News Arabia that they had evidence Iran plans to attack Israel on Tisha B’Av which begins on August 12 and ends on August 13. On Tisha B’Av, Jews lament the destruction of the first and second temples. During the annual event, there is fasting, mourning and a practice of self-denial. The report indicates that there is an emotional and psychological impact in targeting Israel on the holy day of mourning.”

Iran’s attack will reportedly be coordinated with Hezbollah, an Iran-backed terror group embedded in Lebanon. Enemy states and entities have focused their attacks on Jewish holidays in the past, as was the case on October 7, which fell on Simchat Torah and Shabbat, and the Yom Kippur War in 1973.” And Jesus said in Matthew 24:6, Mark 13:7 and Luke 21:9, “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of war. As a result, I believe we should be seeing more assassination attempts, “wars and rumors of war,” leading up to the Lord’s return. So, stay tuned and watch for more assassination attempts, “wars and rumors of war,” as we get closer to the Lord’s return based on what Jesus said in Matthew 24:6, Mark 13:7 and Luke 21:9. And, remember, as believers in Jesus, we are to watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. Over the years I have been writing these blogs, I have often written about “wars and rumors of war” as one of the “signs” Jesus gave His disciples, in Matthew 24:6, Mark 13:7 and Luke 21:9 which would lead up to His return. And, still He has not come. But, He also told His disciples these “signs” would come like “birth pains (Matthew 24:8), thereby increasing in frequency and intensity as we get closer to His return.

And so, this morning, I read this from israelAM: “Israel is bracing for a retaliatory response by Hezbollah and Iran, after the assassination of Hezbollah’s top military commander in Beirut and Hamas’ political leader in Tehran this week. Israel has been speaking with the U.S. and other members of the U.S. coalition to assist Israel by shooting down missiles and drones like they did the last time Iran attacked. Prime Minister Netanyahu said, ‘Israel is highly prepared for any scenario, both defensively and offensively. We will exact a heavy price for any aggression against us from any front.” And so, the wars and rumors of war between Israel and her Muslim neighbors will continue, at least until the Lord Jesus returns, destroys His enemies and ushers in His kingdom.

So, if you are a believer in Jesus, keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16) in heaven. This morning-headline from “Breaking Defense,” really caught my eye: “National Defense Commission: Pentagon has ‘insufficient’ forces to face China, Russia.”

In the article, Lee Ferran reported: “The Pentagon’s current National Defense Strategy is out of date. America’s military inappropriately structured and the U.S. industrial base is ‘grossly inadequate’ to confront the dual threats of Russia and China, according to a new, high-powered formal review. The U.S. public are largely unaware of the dangers the U.S. faces or the costs (financial and otherwise) required to ‘adequately prepare’ for a global conflict, reads an early page from the final report of the Commission on the National Defense Strategy, published today. A bipartisan ‘call to arms’ is urgently needed so that the United States can make the major changes and significant investments now rather than wait for the next Pearl Harbor or 9/11. The support and resolve of the American public are indispensable.”

As I (Doug) have said before, according to the prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39, at some point in the future, Russia, Iran and a host of other nations will invade Israel to “capture spoil” at a time when she (Israel) is living in peace (certainly not now) only to be defeated and destroyed by the Lord God Himself. Then, according to Revelation 16:12, China, perhaps North Korea and the other “kings of the east,” will march to Megiddo for the battle of Armageddon which will end in their defeat when the Lord Jesus Christ returns to the earth to destroy His enemies and usher in His Kingdom (Revelation 19:11-20:6) which will then be followed by a “new heaven and a new earth” with Jesus for eternity (Revelation 21-22).

Personally, I believe (and I could be wrong), we may live to see some of these prophecies fulfilled.. So, if you are a believer in Jesus, keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, simply agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Just when you thought it was safe to go out into the world and watch the Olympics in Paris, there was this headline: “France’s high-speed network was hit by a ‘series of coordinated arson attacks’ that resulted in significant disruption across the country just hours before the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

On a day when hundreds of heads of state and government officials are expected in the French capital for the start of the Games – with a global audience of 1 billion people set to watch on TV – authorities were left scrambling to mitigate the damage.

The French rail operator SNCF described the fires as ‘a massive attack on a large scale to paralyze’ the rail network, which was ‘the victim of several simultaneous. malicious acts overnight,’ including fires set to train stations. 800,000 tourists are expected in Paris this weekend but the company now ‘encourages passengers to postpone their trips.”

How sad, but not surprising, in this evil world where assassinations, protests and all sorts of “lawlessness” occur on a daily bases, just like Jesus said it would before His return in Matthew 24:12. Stay tuned and watch for more of the same, even during the Olympics.

This Associated Press (AP) headline, from yesterday, really got my attention: “Surprise Yellowstone geyser eruption highlights little known hazard at popular park.”

In the article, Matthew Brown, Amy Beth Hanson and Mead Gruver reported: “A surprise eruption of steam in a Yellowstone National Park geyser basin that sent people scrambling for safety as basketball-sized rocks flew overhead has highlighted a little-known hazard that scientists hope to be able to predict someday. dirt high into the air, according to a witness and a scientist who reviewed video footage of the event.

The hydrothermal explosion on Tuesday in Biscuit Basin caused no injuries as dozens of people fled down the boardwalk before the wooden walkway was destroyed. And, if you are a believer in Jesus, then keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for and walking with Jesus until He comes which, according to my thinking (and I could be wrong), will be sooner than later, based on the number of “weird events” which are happening all over the world, including at Yellowstone.
