THE RETURN of the BIRDS!

Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cool (25 degrees) Wisconsin where, on yesterday’s morning walk, I saw: 3 crows, a sandhill crane and heard a cardinal whistling for the first time this spring. Thank You, Jesus, for the return of the birds!

And, one more item from this morning’s news: there was a “strong” (6.1) earthquake ,103 km, WSW of San Pedro, de Atacama, west of Liberia! Keep in mind, that the Lord Jesus said, in Matthew 24:7, that, as we get closer to His return, there will be an increase in the frequency and intensity of “famines and earthquakes.” Thank You, Lord, for the sights and sounds of the returning birds!

Please know I am thankful to the Lord for your comments and support of my blogs. It just dawned on me that I can respond to your comments and will try to do so, as I am able since I am not very “tech-savvy.” And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, why not become one right now by agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus, (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). BUTTONWILLOW & ROBOTS!

Good morning, blog readers, from rainy and cool (39 degrees) Wisconsin where a steady rain kept me from my morning walk. However, it did not keep me from writing a blog.

Now, if you’re like me, you had never heard of a “Buttonwillow” before. It is a small town in California (population: 1508, as of 2010, where you might have guessed, there was a “minor” (3.3) earthquake. I am always amazed at all the different places in the U.S. and around the world where there are earthquakes. And, we can be thankful that many, if not most, of the earthquakes are in the “minor” category. Today’s quake registered 3.3 on the Richter Scale. But, keep in mind, Jesus said, in Matthew 24:8, that, as we get closer to His return, the earthquakes will increase in “frequency and intensity like “birth pains (Matthew 24:8). Stay tuned!

This next headline, from a recent Technocracy News and Trends, is scary: “The Humanoid Invasion Is Coming, Like It or Not!” In the article, Leo Hohmann VIA LEOHOMANN.COM wrote: “With AI and the industrial robots cometh the humanoids. Elon Musk is in a race with China to see who will lead the world in mass production. Powered by AI, they will be super capable to step into roles like caregiver, nanny, medical assistant, robocop, paralegal and more. Technocrats build because they can, not because there is a moral or ethical mandate to do so. As such, they are on a trajectory to destroy what it means to be human.” Thus, the devil’s age-old plan to be like God or God Himself. Sound familiar? Exactly like what Satan promised Adam and Eve in Genesis 3:1-6, another sign that Satan is ramping up his lies and schemes to deceive and destroy life. HAYFORK!

Good afternoon, blog readers, from misty and cool (39 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw a deer and , get this, the dog with the green flashlight which I usually see only around Christmas! And no, I am not seeing things!

Today, for the first time since I started charting earthquakes with the USGS, there was a “very minor” (2.6) earthquake near Hayfork, California (population: 2,368), as of 2010. You just never know where these are going to occur. Thank You, Jesus, for keeping the “greats (8.0+)” away, though the Bible tells us us there will be three “greats” in the so-called “end times,” leading up to the return of Jesus Christ to the earth. And, if you don’t believe me, check out Revelation 6:12, 11:13 and 16:18 to see for yourself the devastation these will bring to the earth. DEER & QUAKES!

Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cool (28 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I was blessed with seeing, get this,16 deer! The only other time I saw more than 16 deer on my morning walk, was, years ago, when I saw: 25 deer! Thank You, Jesus!

Also, I found it interesting and, perhaps prophetic, that, yesterday there was a “minor” (3.9) earthquake, 2 km, ESE of North Hollywood, California. on the day of the Oscars! Stay tuned!

Question: “Did you know that, according to Romans 8:18-23, the animal world longs to go back to its creation?” Hear what the apostle Paul wrote: “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him Who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.” Glory to God! So, let us watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. AMERICA IN FLAMES?

Good morning, blog readers, from clear and cold (8 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 4 deer! Thank You, Jesus!

This headline, from the February 26, 2025 Technocracy News and Trends, really grabbed my attention: “Technocracy’s Coup d’etat: Why America Is Going Down in Flames.

Jesse Smith via Truth Unmuted wrote: “Technocracy is inconceivably radical, anti-civilizational, and anti-human: “The technocratic dream is revolutionary in scope, envisioning a total reorganization of industry, government, law and order. They readily admit their intent is to socially engineer all of society, seize control of the production and distribution of all goods and services and rid the world of rule by politicians and (traditional) financial controllers.”

America is walking into a nightmare and still does not recognize the threat. Technocracy is making it coup d’etat, and if it is not stopped immediately, we will find ourselves trapped in a dystopian Scientific Dictatorship, the likes of which you will beg and cry out for a return to flat-out Communism. I have warned and pleaded with Americans to stop this attack in its tracks. Now, it is upon us.

Major shake-ups are occurring across the global stage. History is replete with examples of breaks with the past from major political, economic, technological and social upheaval. Throughout the ages, many self-serving individuals and groups have positioned themselves as rulers, financiers, benefactors and thought leaders to steer change toward preferred outcomes.”

Sadly, in my opinion, many Christians today are sleeping right through what could very well be the beginning of the “end times, that is, the coming of the antichrist” and the fulfillment of Bible prophecy which will culminate in the return of Jesus Christ and His kingdom on earth. MIGRATORY BIRDS in PROPHECY!

Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cool (39 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk in a strong south wind, I did not see any creatures, but did get a wave from a truck driver. Thank You, Jesus, for the truckers!

Yesterday, based on a recent article by Zachy Hennessey in “Earth,” I wrote about a large number of earthquakes (1,200) on the Greek Island of Santorini “which experts fear could end in a massive quake and tsunami.” Note: The Book of Revelation in the Bible has prophesied of three “great (8.0+)” earthquakes” to come in Revelation 6:12, 11:13 and 16:18. And, if you don’t believe me, check out the above Scriptures and be in “awe” of the damage these quakes will bring.

Today, I want to quote from another article by Hennessey which also could fulfill Bible Prophecy. In the article, Hennessey wrote: “One of the most wonderful things about Israel is its position as a critical stopover site for hundreds of millions of migratory birds each year. As eagles soar over Eilat and cormorant flocks set record numbers, Israel’s 2025 spring bird migration is currently taking flight. And, while the season kicked off with some challenges, the skies are filling with feathered visitors as thousands of birds make their annual journey through one of the world’s most spectacular migration routes.” So, you might ask, “What’s the big deal about this seasonal migration of birds in Israel?” I believe the answer is found in Revelation 19:19-21 where John wrote: “And I saw the beast (the antichrist) and the kings of the earth and their armies, assembled to make war against Him who sat upon the horse (Jesus) and against His (Jesus’) army. And the beast (antichrist) was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast (666) and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire (hell) which burns with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him (Jesus) who sat upon the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh. John also wrote, in Revelation 19:17, “And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds which fly in midheaven, “Come, assemble for the great supper of God.” Question: “Where would you like to dine for eternity?” Answer: “With Jesus and the saints, that is, all the believers in Him who have been saved by God’s grace through faith in Christ, His death, burial and resurrection (I Corinthians 15:1-4) and not by works (Ephesians 2:8, 9) or at the “great supper of God” (Revelation 19:17) with all the unbelievers?” Please, if you haven’t already done so, choose to dine with Jesus. SANTORINI EARTHQUAKES!

Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cool (39 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I did not see any of God’s creatures, but did hear the siren of a police car speeding towards an emergency which took me back to my 13 years of being a local police chaplain which I thoroughly enjoyed.

As many of you know, I have been following earthquakes from around the world for some 20+ years because they are one of the “signs” which Jesus gave His disciples, leading up to His return which you can read about in Matthew 24:7, Mark 13:8 and Luke 21:11.

And so, this recent headline in “Earth” grabbed my attention: “Santorini Earthquakes Shake Up Scientist’s Research.” In the article, Zachy Hennessey wrote: “This January, University of Haifa marine geo-archeologist Prof. Beverly Goodman Tchernov happened to be on Santorini as the Greek island experienced its most significant seismic activity in recent memory. This extraordinary series of over 1,200 earthquakes, which experts feared could end in a massive quake and tsunami, brought alive her 25 years of research on ancient tsunamis and seismic events in the Mediterranean, particularly the massive eruption of Santorini’s volcano approximately 3,600 years ago. Indeed, earlier this month Israel was placed under a tsunami alert as a result of the earthquakes, and the National Security Council convened an emergency meeting. It was only by a twist of fate (I like to think by the Lord’s design) that this National Geographic Explorer from Israel found herself on the island when the tremblors began. “We had earthquakes all the time,” Goodman Tchernov recalls of her time on Santorini. You could feel them at least three times an hour. Some days there were 500 recorded in that region.” Question: “Did you know there was an earthquake when Jesus died (Matthew 27:51, 54), an earthquake when He was raised from the dead (Matthew 28:2) and there will be an earthquake when He returns to the earth to reign as King (Zechariah 14:4, 5)?”

THE ANTICHRIST IS COMING!

Good morning, blog readers, from rainy and cool (34 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk in a soaking rain which I cut in half because of the rain, I did not see any of God’s creatures, but did get 2 “beeps” from a semi driver! Thank You, Jesus, for the truckers!

As I was going through a number of articles about “Bible Prophecy,” I came across one from an old Israel My Glory magazine with the title: “The Antichrist Is Coming!”

Sometimes, I think that we, as Christians, spend a lot of time trying to figure out when Jesus is coming, even though He made it very clear, in Matthew 24:36, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.”

So, my advice: “Stop trying to figure it out. However, if you read Matthew 24, you will find that Jesus did give us some “signs of the “coming of the Antichrist which, I believe, will precede the “coming of Christ, as” Jesus said:, in Matthew 24:21, “there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall. Then, in verse 24, Jesus said: “For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect,” that is the believers in Jesus. Jesus also said, in Matthew 24:10, that “many will fall away, that is, from the true faith in Christ and be misled by “false Christs, false prophets and false miracles, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect,” that is the believers in Jesus.

Sadly, many believers today are looking and praying for a “great revival.” Based on what Jesus just said, that is not going to happen. What is going to happen is the opposite: great tribulation, false prophets, false Christs, false miracles and apostasy in the church. So, what are we, as Christians, to do in the meantime? Jesus told His disciples, in Mark 13:33, 35, 37). “Stay on the alert!” And, I would add: keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. LOWERING YOUR DEMENTIA RISK!

Good morning, blog readers, from clear and cool (34 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 6 deer and a plane! Thank You, Jesus! The above headline really grabbed my attention this morning since I have been diagnosed with an “early onset dementia.” In the article Dr. Joseph Mercola whom I highly respect, wrote: “A recent study has found that just five minutes of light exercise each day could reduce the risk of dementia. Researchers at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health discovered that older adults who engage in a small amount of physical activity, like 35 minutes of moderate exercise each week, were 41% less likely to develop dementia over four years.

The study suggests that increased physical activity benefits everyone, even those at high risk for health problems. More exercise leads to even lower risks, with dementia rates dropping up to 69% for those who work out more than 140 minutes weekly. This research supports the idea that some physical activity is better than none, particularly valuable for older adults who might find longer or more intense workouts challenging.

These findings encourage incorporating any amount of exercise into daily routines, especially for older adults. Engaging in light activities can help to keep the brain healthy and reduce the likelihood of dementia, emphasizing that even minimal exercise is beneficial for maintaining mental health as we age.” Thank you, Dr. Mercola, for this helpful information.

And, speaking of “helpful information,” let me ask you: “Have you believed in Jesus Christ to save you from your sins and give you “eternal life (John 3:16). Please know that your answer to this question will determine where you spend your eternity. So, hear me out. The Bible tells us that “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23, 24). And, as a result, we are either on our way to heaven or hell for eternity. But, there’s good news! You can change your eternal outcome by simply agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). And, if you do, I’ll see you in heaven!

ISRAEL & IRAN: PART 2!

Good morning, blog readers, from warm (22 degrees) and clear Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I heard an owl hooting and saw a bunny! Thank You, Jesus!

This headline, from Britt Gillette, got my attention this morning as a follow-up to my blog from yesterday about Israel and Iran. Britt asked the question: “Are Israel and Iran About to Blow Up the Middle east?” In the article, Britt wrote: “It certainly looks that way. … This week (Israeli) Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: “Over the last 16 months, Israel has dealt a mighty blow to Iran’s terror axis. Under the strong leadership of President Trump, and with your unflinching support, I have no doubt that we can and will finish the job.” Meanwhile, Iran is threatening a third attack on Israel – one similar to those it unleashed in April and October 2024. Gillette continued: “In today’s video, we discuss why an Israeli-Iranian conflict is highly likely at this moment in time, why Israel has a rare opportunity to cripple the Iranian threat (and why that window is closing), what could possibly happen, and how it all relates to Bible prophecies concerning the end times.”
