Good afternoon, blog readers, from cloudy and cool (49 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: about 30 robins, 3 bunnies, 3 deer and a cardinal! Thank You, Jesus!
This headline, from today’s “Live Science,” really got my attention: “Our home star, that is, the sun, has had a particularly active week with the the strong solar flare of 2025 so far recorded on Wednesday morning (May 14). Solar flares are super intense bursts of electromagnetic radiation released from intense from regions of intense magnitude on the sun’s surface.
The X-2.7 flare came less then 24 hours after another powerful flare X-class flare on May 13 X-class flare on May 13, two significant flares reported on either side. This solar activity triggered radio blackouts across North and Southeast Adia. And, more flares could be heading our way in the coming days.
Meanwhile, experts have warned that the U.S. isn’t yet prepared for the impact of major storms, which may increase in frequency in the coming years as the ongoing solar max continues with a mysterious, 100-year solar cycle.”
And Jesus said, in Luke 21:25: “There will be signs in the sun, the moon and the stars, and on earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves., men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man (Jesus) coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” Hallelujah! Glory to God!
Question: “Are you excited or fearful of the Lord’s coming?” You should be excited if you are a believer in Jesus. And, scared if you are not. But, you can change all that, right now, by agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior (Jesus) (Romans 3:23, 24) and believing He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:1.” That’s it, and heaven will be your eternal home. And, if you don’t believe in Jesus to save you from your sins, then hell will be your eternal home. My prayer is that I will see you in heaven. Love and blessings in Christ, Doug (5/19/25).
