This headline from LifeSiteNews caught my eye this morning: “Ukrainian President Zelenskyy is tied to Klaus Schwab, Justin Trudeau, and other global elites.”

In the article, Jack Bingham reports: Ukraine’s President Volodomyr Zelenskyy has stated that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was one of the reasons he got into politics. After leaving his career as a comedian and entertainer and becoming Ukraine’s President in April, 2019, Zelenskyy hailed Trudeau as “one of those leaders who inspired him ‘to join politics,’ when he became Ukraine’s president in 2019.”

While Zelenskyy has shot to stardom from relative obscurity from the perspective of the West since the Russo-Ukrainian conflict became international news last week, his administration for Trudeau comes less as a surprise when looking into his background.

Like Trudeau, Zelenskyy is an acolyte of Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum, the globalist organization behind the now-infamous ‘Great Reset’ agenda, which tells the world that by the year 2030, “You’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy.” Verrrrrrry interesting!!! P.S. I don’t know about you, but it’s getting harder and harder to tell who the good guys are to root for.

And so, the bottom line is this: “Root for Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who, according to Hebrews 12:2, “for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Even so, Come, Lord Jesus!

This headline from the Algemeiner caught my prophetic eye this morning: “Putin is Using Iran for His Cyber Warfare: Israeli Security Expert.”

In the article, Raphael Kahan reported: “Iran may be many kilometers from the Russian-Ukraine war, but there is a connection between the two fronts, one most people aren’t really aware of.”

‘I grew up in Iran,’ Morgan Wright, Chief Security Advisor at Israeli cyber unicorn SentinelOne says with a smile. I know their mentality and even understand Persian because I was there as a child.” Wright may seem like a likeable American with grey hair and a carefully trimmed beard, but as an expert in security he has hopped between jobs in the CIA and NSA and has advised and assisted governments and cyber companies.”

What exactly is the nature of relations between Russia and Iran? “Russia is helping Iran in the offensive cyber field, not to mention enabling it. For the Russians the Iranians are a ‘useful idiot.’ They provide them with the means to influence remote arenas. The Iranians also serve as a kind of agents of chaos that can create moves that are convenient for the Russians not to appear involved in.”

So, again, you might ask, “What’s the big deal?” Well, according to Ezekiel 38, at some time in the future, Russia and Iran will invade Israel with a host of other nations to “seize plunder, to carry away silver and gold, cattle, goods and great spoil.” As my old friend, Arte Johnson, used to say, “Verrrrrrry interesting!!!! And, I might add, “perhaps prophetic!!!!

So, stay tuned, dearly beloved in Christ, while watching, waiting, working, witnessing for and walking with Jesus until He comes. Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and cold (19 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 2 grey, sandhill cranes!

As Russian troops continue to bomb their way to Ukraine, another enemy has reared its ugly head in the conflict: China. Peter Aitken, writing for Fox News, reports: “Taiwan scrambled its Air Force Thursday as nine Chinese aircraft have entered the island nation’s air defense zone, the Taiwan Ministry of Defense announced. A small fleet of eight J-16 fighters and a YUN-8 technical reconnaissance aircraft breached the air space. The Taiwanese aircrafts broadcast a warning and monitored the Chinese fleet’s activities.”

So, dear ones, keep an eye on Russia and know the Lord God Himself will take care of this evil nation (Ezekiel 38, 39) and know that China’s days are numbered as well which means Jesus is coming. So, keep looking up while watching, waiting, working, witnessing for and walking with Him until He comes. Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and cold Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw and heard the beautiful sound of a red cardinal, a sure sign of spring!

And yet, sadly, it’s anything but spring in the Ukraine and other parts of the world where war is being waged, so it seems, by the Russians to take over the world. That made me think of Micah 4:1-4 where the prophet records: “And it will come about in the last days that the mountain of the house of the the Lord will be established as the chief of the mountains. It will be raised above above the hills, and the peoples will stream to it. And many nations will stream to it. And many nations will come and say, ‘Come let us go up to the mountain of the Lord and to the house of the God of Jacob, that He may teach us about His ways and that we might walk in His paths.’ For from Zion will go forth the Law, even the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And He will judge between many peoples and render decisions for mighty, distant nations. Then they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks; nation will not lift up sword against nation, and never again will they train for war. And each of them will sit under his vine and under his fig tree, with no one to make them afraid, For the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken.”

Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and snowy Wisconsin where I have not been able to walk or write for several weeks because of a bout of COVID. And yet, as I look out our southern window, I am in awe of the Creator and His creation which, in the midst of a war-torn world, the simple beauty of a freshly-fallen snow kind of makes me forget there is a war going on. So, you might be wondering, “Why do we pray for the peace of Jerusalem?”

Well, because, one day, according to Psalm 122;6, the Prince of Peace, the Lord Jesus Christ, will return to the earth, set up His kingdom in Jerusalem and usher in a glorious age of peace unlike anything this world has ever known. I can’t wait! But, wait I must, while watching, waiting, working, witnessing for and walking with Jesus until He comes.

And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, why not become one today by agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe Jesus died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life. Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cool Wisconsin where I have not been walking of late because I tested positive for COVID and Strep. Hopefully, I will be out there walking again real soon and enjoying the beauty of God’s creation, as I have been doing for so many years.

This recent headline, from the Associated Press, caught my eye this morning: “Russia sends warplanes to Syria for huge naval drills in Mediterranean amid tensions.”

In the article, the AP Staff reported: “The Russian military deploys long-range nuclear-capable bombers and fighter jets carrying state-of-the-art hypersonic missiles to its airbase in Syria for massive naval drills amid soaring tensions with the West over Ukraine.”

“Why is this significant,” you might ask? Well, from a Biblical and prophetic standpoint, according to Isaiah 17:1, at some time in the future, “Damascus, Syria will, one day, be removed from being a city. And, according to Ezekiel 38 and 39, Russia and her allies will be destroyed by the Lord God Himself. So, stay tuned, dearly beloved in Christ and keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for and walking with Jesus until He comes.

Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cool Wisconsin where my daily routine has been delayed by a bout of COVID, Strep and the Flu which now has me in quarantine for three more days, Lord willing, that is.

And, while rest is good for most people; it is not always for me, as I need to keep my body and mind active to keep me from feeling worse. And so, these latest “thorns in my flesh,” have provided an extra challenge for me. Good morning, blog readers, from sunny Wisconsin where I did not walk this morning because I have strep throat!

Whites City is a CDP (Census Designated Place) in New Mexico (population: 85, as of 2019) where there has been a lot of earthquake activity over the last four days: 12 quakes between 2.7 and 4.2 on the Richter Scale. Stay tuned!

Today is one of those days when I wish Jesus would come and change this sinful and sickly body to be like His glorified body. That made me think of I Corinthians 15:50-57 where the apostle Paul wrote: “Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, ‘Death is swallowed up in victory. O death where is your sting?’ The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Blessings, Doug (2/13/22)

This headline, as you can imagine in EarthSKY, caught my attention this week: “Earthquake series was source of mysterious global tsunami.”

In the article, posted by Lia De La Cruz, she reported: “Seismologists said this week (February 8, 2022) they’ve uncovered source of a mysterious global tsunami, an unusually large ocean wave, recorded at many coastal sea-level stations a round the world. This tsunami happened in August 2021. The scientists said the quake wasn’t a single event, but five, which happened over several minutes. The third quake was a shallower, slower magnitude-8.2 quake that his just 9 miles (15 km) below the surf. That unusual “hidden” earthquake likely triggered the global wave.”

Wow! The tsunami sounds a lot like Revelation 6:12-14; 8:8-11; 12:11-16. And, the 8.3 earthquake is a “great earthquake (8.0+) which is mentioned three times in Revelation (6:12; 11:13 and 16:18), in addition to Luke 21:11.

I don’t think most people, including most Christians, know what is ahead for them. And, even though I believe in a pre-trib Rapture, I do believe we will still see tougher times ahead. So, dearly beloved in Christ, get ready for tougher times while watching, waiting, working, witnessing for and walking with Jesus until He comes. And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, please, agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior (Romans 3:23, 24), Who is Jesus Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from dead to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (I Corinthians 15:1-4; John 3:16). Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and warm (35 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk in the dark, I saw: a deer!

Some of you might know (I didn’t) that Santa Paula is a city (population: 29321, as of 2010) which is about 60 miles northwest of L. A. and, where you might have guessed (knowing me), there was a “minor” (3.9) earthquake, 10km NW of there overnight. Stay tuned!

Next, I want you to be aware of the following headline from yesterday’s Jerusalem News Syndicate: “How America is helping Iran get a nuclear arsenal.”

In the article, Melanie Phillips reported: “As Iran reportedly reaches the brink of obtaining enough fissile material for a nuclear weapon, the Biden administration is now astoundingly colluding with this lethal rogue state against the interests of Israel and America’s allies in the region.

The U.S. State Department is waiving sanctions on Iran’s civilian nuclear program. The Biden administration hopes this will persuade Tehran to return to compliance with the 2015 deal that it has been violating since former President Donald Trump withdrew from the agreement in 2018 and reimposed harsh sanctions.”

Now, before you get all upset about the President and want him removed from office, let me remind you Mr. Biden is in power by the sovereignty of God, based on Daniel 2:21 which says: “It is He (God) who changes the times and the epochs; He (God) removes kings and establishes kings; He (God) gives wisdom to men of understanding.”

And so, it is important for us, as believers in Jesus, to trust God knows what He is doing and, based on Ezekiel 38 and 39, will judge Iran and, even the United States, in His perfect time. Dr. Luke records, in Acts 17:30, 31: “Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men/women that all people everywhere should repent, because He (God) has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man (Jesus) Whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men/women by raising Him from the dead.”

Yes, dear brothers and sisters, Jesus is coming! And, rather than grumble against our leaders, we need to pray for them (I Timothy 2:1-8) and be about the Lord’s business: watching, waiting, working, witnessing for and walking with Jesus Him He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe Jesus died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (I Corinthians 15:1-4; John 3:16).
