Good morning, blog readers, from a mild (38 degrees) Wisconsin where I have not yet walked.

Now, if you’re like me, you don’t have a clue about “transhumanism,” let alone an “agenda” for it. So, here is an article by Dr. Joseph Mercola which, I believe, will enlighten us all on this interesting and scary subject.

Dr. Mercola writes: “According to Klaus Schwab, founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF), the goal of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is to change what it means to be human by merging man and machine.

Humans are now ‘hackable,’ in that technology now exists by which a company or government can know you better than you know yourself, and that can be very dangerous if misused.

Professor Yuval Noah Harari predicts that algorithms will increasingly be used to make decisions that have historically been made by humans either yourself or someone else, including whether or not you’ll be hired for a particular job, whether you’ll be granted a loan, what scholastic curriculum you will follow and even who you will marry.

Harari warns that if we allow the establishment of a digital dictatorship, where the system, be it a corporation or government, knows the most intimate details about each and every person, it will be impossible to dismantle it. Its control will be total and irreversible.

According to Klaus Schwab, “the goal of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is to change what it means to be human by merging man and machine.”

So, what God does think about all of this? We read, in Colossians 1:13-16: “For He (God) delivered us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son (Jesus Christ), in Whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. And He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation. For by Him (Christ) all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all things have been created by Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.”

Now, I don’t know if you can see it, but I see man playing God in this “transhumanism.” Early on, the Lord God said to His people (Israel) in Exodus 20:1, 2: ‘I am the Lord your God, Who brought you out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before Me.'”

Woe to us and this world as we put anyone or anything before God! And so, dearly beloved in Christ, as this world continues its downward spiral to hell, “let us fix our eyes on Jesus” (Hebrews 12:2) and keep them there, as we watch, wait, work, witness for and walk with Him until He comes. And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, please, I beg of you, before it is too late, agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (I Corinthians 15:1-4; John 3:16). Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cool (35 degrees) Wisconsin where two Canada geese just flew past my window and this headline from the March 10th Technocracy News caught my eye this morning:

“War in Ukraine Is the WEF’s Doorway to Global Technocracy.” In the article, the TN Editor reported: “Don’t be fooled by the deluge of propaganda stating that the war is between Russia and Ukraine. Rather, it is a war between Technocracy and the rest of the world. As the nation state model of government dissolves, it will be replaced by leaders of the corporate world, central bank oligarchs and private institutions.

During the breakdown of the global supply chain, the financial and currency systems will also break down, allowing central banks emergency powers to replace currencies with a system of digital currencies. Digital currencies require digital identity.”

Digital currencies makes me think of the coming antichrist who will, one day, go into the rebuilt Jewish temple in Jerusalem, stop the temple sacrifices and declare that he is God (II Thessalonians 2:4). And, according to Revelation 13:17, “he provides that no one should be able to buy or sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name (666).”

Could this be the prophesied “mark of the beast?” Time and God will tell. So, let me ask you all a question: “Are you looking for Jesus Christ or antichrist? I’m looking for Jesus Christ Whom John beautifully describes, in I John 5:20, as “the true God and eternal life.”

Jesus said to His disciples in Matthew 24:4, “See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and mislead many.” He also said, in Matthew 24:24, “For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.”

Before Jesus returns, our enemy, the devil, will be ramping up his efforts to deceive the world into following him. Please don’t let him deceive you. And, if you haven’t already done so, agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe Jesus died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (I Corinthians 15:1-4; John 3:16). Sounds awful, doesn’t it? And yet, from a Biblical perspective, it sounds exactly like what Jesus said would happen in Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21 and John in Revelation 6-19 with the coming of major world wars, famines, pestilences (plagues), an increase in lawlessness, earthquakes and the coming of the antichrist with his digital economy (Revelation 13:16-18).

So, stay tuned, dear brothers and sisters in Christ and “stay on the alert” (Mark 13:33, 35, 37) while watching, waiting, working, witnessing for and walking with Jesus until He comes. Good morning, blog readers, from snowy and cold (19 degrees) Wisconsin where I am still not walking because of my slow recovery from COVID.

This morning, these headlines made me think of what Jesus said to His disciples in Matthew 24:6: “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of war. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.” Here are the headlines:

#1. Russian airstrike hits base in western Ukraine, kills 9 (AP News)

#2. Russian President Vladimir Putin ‘s invasion of Ukraine dominates world attention. But with scrutiny, Putin is also busy advancing Russia’s presence in the Middle East and Africa (AP News)

#3. Russia warns U.S. over arms shipments to Ukraine (AP News)

#4. IRGC (Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) claims responsibility for missiles fired from Iran towards US embassy in Iraq (Jerusalem Post)

#5. Zelensky suggests Jerusalem host negotiations between Ukraine and Russia (Times of Israel)

Interestingly enough, headlines 1-3 have to do with Russia, a major player in the prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39. Article 4 is about Iran, another of the players in Ezekiel 38-39. And, article 5 is about Jerusalem where, according to Daniel 9:27, the so-called “antichrist” will sign a “peace treaty” with Israel for seven years, but break it halfway through and, according to Paul in II Thessalonians 2:4, “take his seat in the (rebuilt) temple of God, displaying himself as being God.”

Wow! What lies ahead is both scary and exciting. So, dearly beloved in Christ, “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus” (Hebrews 12:2) while watching, waiting, working, witnessing for and walking with Him until He comes. And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, what are you waiting for? You have two choices: antichrist or Jesus Christ, heaven or hell. My hope and prayer is that you will agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe Jesus died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (I Corinthians 15:1-4; John 3:16). Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and cold (3 degrees) Wisconsin where I did not walk this morning because of the cold.

One of my favorite preachers and pastors of all time is Jonathan Edwards, a Congregational brother, who is mostly known for his sermon, “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” which Edwards preached in the village of Northampton, Massachusetts in 1735.

Alwyn York, CCCC (Conservative Congregational Christian Conference) Historian today posted on the CCCC website, an article, “Jonathan Edwards on Revival (Part 2),” some of which I would like to share with you this morning, particularly what are the marks of “true revival.”

York writes: “Edwards turned to the fourth chapter of I John to find the tests to determine if a spiritual movement was really from the Spirit of God. The indicators he finds in this chapter that mark a true work of the Spirit are: love of Jesus as the Son of God and Savior, renouncing worldly lusts and ambitions, a love of Scripture, devotion to biblical truth, and true Christian love for God and other people. He declares these to be the “sure, distinguishing Scripture evidences and marks” of the Spirit’s work.

And so, let me ask you: “Is your church a I John 4 church which loves Jesus as the Son of God and Savior? Has your church renounced worldly lusts and ambitions? Does your church love Scripture and is it devoted to biblical truth? And, is there true, Christian love for God and other people in your church?”

Let me close by adding, despite what you might think, there is no perfect church on earth right now. But, there will be in heaven made up of all “born-again” (John 3:3) believers in Jesus who have been saved by God’s grace through faith in Christ (Ephesians 2:8, 9).

Please know I am looking forward to meeting you and sharing an eternity with all of my born-again brothers and sisters in Christ. So, again I ask, “Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Have you agreed with Him you are a sinner who needs a Savior (Romans 3:23, 24) and believed He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (I Corinthians 15:1-4; John 3:16). This headline, from yesterday’s “Technocracy News,” caught my eye this morning: “War in Ukraine IS the WEF’s (World Economic Forum’s) Doorway to Global Technocracy.”

The TN Editor reported: “Don’t be fooled by the deluge of propaganda stating the war is between Russia and Ukraine. Rather, it is a war between Technocracy and the rest of the world.” Webster defines technocracy as “government by technicians, specifically the theory or doctrine of a proposed system of government in which all economic resources, and hence the entire social system, would be controlled by scientists and engineers.”

The article continues: “As the nation state model of government dissolves, it will be replaced by leaders of the corporate world, central bank oligarchs which Webster defines as “a form of government in which the ruling power belongs to a few persons.”

During the breakdown of the global supply chain, the financial and currency systems will also break down, allowing central banks emergency powers to replace currencies with a system of digital currencies. Digital currencies require digital identity. Digital identity will enable Universal Basic Income and rationing of all necessities of life. Governments will bow, Technocracy will take over and the Great Reset will be complete.

Welcome to the second phase of the Great Reset: war.”

Let me remind you that, over 2,000 years ago, Jesus, in Matthew 24:6, spoke of “wars and rumors of war” as some of the “signs” leading up to His return. And, if you dare, you can read more specifically about these in Revelation 6-19.

Yes, these are exciting and scary times for us, as Christians, as we get closer to the Lord’s return. And, even though I believe in a “pre-trib Rapture of the church,” I also believe the church will go through some difficult times before that. Whether we do or not, we need to be constantly “on the alert,” as Jesus told His disciples in Mark 13:33, 35 and 37 and be ready for whatever may come. So, let us put our armor on, be ready for battle and “stay on the alert” by watching, waiting, working, witnessing for and walking with Jesus until He comes.

And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, do me a favor – get out a Bible, turn to either Matthew 24, Mark 13 or Luke 21, watch the evening news and see if anything of what Jesus said would happen is happening. And, if it is, please, agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe Jesus died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Good morning, blog readers, from partly sunny/cloudy and cold (12 degrees) Wisconsin where I have postponed my morning walk for now and will try again later when it is warmer.

This morning’s headline from The Gatestone Institute caught my attention: “Palestinians: US Weakness Facilitates the Rise of Jihad and Fundamentalism.”

In the article, Khaled Abu Toameh wrote: “America is unable to decide on war against Russia, and therefore the US will not be a decision-maker in international politics.” – Musa Abu Marzouk, member of the Hamas ‘politburo,’ Twitter, February 26, 2022.

Sadly, I have to agree with Toameh. But, let me remind you, from Ezekiel 38, that, when Russia invades Israel with a massive army, to “take a spoil,” no one goes to Israel’s defense, that is, except for the only One Who counts: “The Lord God Almighty Himself.” I would encourage you to read through Ezekiel 39 to see how that turns out.

Whether you realize it or not, like it or not, there will always be an Israel. Read Jeremiah 31:35-37 as one, big proof of that. And yet, sadly, much of Israel today is living in unbelief because she has rejected Jesus Christ as her Messiah and Savior. But, one day, a remnant of Jews (one third, according to Zechariah13:8, 9) will recognize Jesus as their Messiah and Savior and enjoy His kingdom on earth, along with all the believers in Jesus (I can’t wait).

Right now, I would invite any Jew who is reading this to open your Scriptures to Isaiah 53. And, though many of your rabbis don’t want you to read this because of its reference to Jesus as the Messiah and Savior, I will be praying that, as you read this Scripture, the Holy Spirit will give you clarity about who the prophet Isaiah is writing about and of your need of a Savior Who is Jesus that you, too, will not only inherit God’s Kingdom, but also have eternal life.

Good morning, blog readers, from partly cloudy/sunny and cool (27 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my first morning walk after COVID, I overdid it and will need to take it easy today as a result.

With all of what’s going on in the Ukraine and with Vladimir Putin threatening nuclear war, what are the possibilities for nuclear war? In a recent broadcast, news anchor Dmitry Kiselyov told viewers across Russia’s 11 time zones that the west would be blown to smithereens with ‘more than 500 nuclear warheads’ if it continued to threaten Moscow.”

According to Kiselyov, Moscow has “6,400 nuclear warheads, 1,600 nuclear weapons with a maximum range of 9,940 miles.” And, in case you’re wondering, according to Wikipedia, the U.S. has: 5,550 nuclear warheads, followed by China (350), France (290), Pakistan (165), India (160), Israel (90) and North Korea with 45. Note: That’s a lot of firepower.

Question: “Does the Bible say anything about nuclear war?” In my opinion (and I could be wrong), what John writes about in Revelation 6 and 9 could very well be nuclear war and the results of it. We do know, from Ezekiel 38 that, one day in the future, Russia and a host of other nations will invade Israel to “seize plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods and to capture great spoil” (verse 13) only to be destroyed by the Lord God Himself (38:18-39:29). I would encourage you to read that passage to see how He does it.

So, back to my question, “Will there be nuclear war in our lifetime?” Personally (and I could be wrong), I believe there will be, though I also believe we may not be around to see it. Either way, we need to be ready for whatever the Lord allows or brings our way with our eyes “fixed on Him” (Hebrews 12:2) while watching, waiting, working, witnessing for and walking with Him until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please become one today by agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe Jesus died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (I Corinthians 15:1-4; John 3:16). Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and cold (18 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my first morning walk in a while, I saw and heard my first red-winged blackbird of the season!

This morning, I was intrigued by Dr. Joseph Mercola’s latest headline: “The Great Reset’s 5G Cyborg Ecosystem.” Now, if you’re like me, you don’t have a clue as to what that means. Dr. Mercola explains: “The Great Reset is a globalist plan that is moving forward at lightning speed. The COVID-19 pandemic was part and parcel of that plan, but to really fulfill the technocrats’ ambitions, a war of some kind is likely needed.” Note: Go figure!

Dr. Mercola continues: “They need chaos, mass casualties and financial chaos in order to create the desperation necessary for people to give up their freedoms and give in to tyrannical control.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) has for years promoted the implementation of digital identification, and ensuring that everyone on the planet has a legal, digital identity is part of the United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.”

Whether people realize it or not, The Great Reset is a globalist plan that is moving forward at lightning speed. The COVID-19 pandemic was part and parcel of that plan, as detailed in Klaus Schwab’s book, “COVID-19: The Great Reset.” But to really fulfill the technocrats’ ambitions, a war of some kind is likely needed. As reported by Dr. Vernon Coleman with The Expose: “Now that we’ve got most people cowering behind the sofa or under the bed because of the fake COVID threat, they have introduced two new threats to the menu: wars and storms. They were always going to do this … to keep us on our toes some of the storms will be ferocious. Those will probably be the manufactured ones. And there will be heat waves, heavy snow falls and probably a tsunami or two (easily created, as I previously explained (?) with an underwater explosion).”

Wow! Wow! Wow! But, hold on now; it’s still not the end of the world. In fact, if you dare to read through Revelation 6-19, you will see that the Lord Jesus Christ is behind all these “judgments and devastations” to prepare the way for His return to defeat all His enemies and establish HIs kingdom on earth.

So, in light of all of this, what is a believer in Jesus to do? First of all, we need to “fix our eyes on Jesus” (Hebrews 12:2) and get ready for tougher times while watching, waiting, working, witnessing for and walking with Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please, I beg you, don’t put it off – believe right now you are a sinner who needs a Savior (Romans 3:23, 24) and that Jesus died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (II Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Good morning, blog readers, from snowy and cold (28 degrees) Wisconsin where, because of the snow and slippery conditions, I did not walk this morning!

This headline from Fox News caught my attention this morning: “Ukraine conflict ‘heightens the risk’ of Chinese-American war, professor says.”

Michael Beckley, an associate professor of political science at Tufts University, said “China could take action in Taiwan while the U.S. is distracted with Russia’s siege on Ukraine. He said conflict between the U.S. and China would most likely break out if the authoritarian superpower were to take military action in Taiwan.

“The United States and China, I think, are at a very high risk of conflict,” Beckley, the co-author of the upcoming book “Danger Zone: The Coming Conflict with China,” told Fox News. “Not just economic competition or ideological competition, but an actual war.”

And, in addition to the above “rumors of war,” there were this headline in this morning’s news: “Syrian state media reported an Israeli missile strike against several Iranian related military targets around Damascus last night.” Can you say, Isaiah 17:1?

Certainly, these are scary and exciting times as the “wars and rumors of war” Jesus said would happen before His return (Matthew 24:6) are happening right before our eyes. And, I might add, with “frequency and intensity” like “birth pains” which He also told us about in Matthew 24:8.

These also reminded me of something else Jesus said in Luke 21:28, “But when these things (that is, the things Jesus told us about in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21) begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” And, what “redemption” is that? The “redemption of our bodies” to be like Jesus’ glorious body. I can’t wait. But, wait I (you) must. So, as we wait, let us continue to watch, work, witness for and walk with Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please, I beg you, agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe Jesus died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (I Corinthians 15:1-4; John 3:16).
