Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy, windy and cool (27 degrees) Wisconsin where, so far, I have not see any of God’s creatures.
Many of you are probably watching what is going on in Russia and are oblivious to another hotspot for war: Iran. Today’s headline, from the Gatestone Institute, should be an eye-opener and cause for concern: “Biden Administration’s Nuclear Deal: ‘This Isn’t Obama’s Iran Deal. It’s Much, Much Worse.'”
In the article, Majid Rafizadeh reports: “By every indication, the Biden Administration appears to have given away the store … What is more, the deal appears to deepen Iran’s financial and security relationship with Moscow and Beijing, including through arms sales.” – Statement from 49 US Republican Senators, March 14, 2022.
Regionally speaking, a nuclear deal will undoubtedly escalate Iran’s interference in the domestic affairs of other countries, despite what the advocates of the nuclear deal argue. Iran’s leaders, for a start, never honored their earlier ‘commitment,’ so why would anyone think they would honor this one?… To top it off, the US State Department just confirmed that Russia and its war-criminal Vladimir Putin could keep Iran’s ‘excess uranium.’ Seriously? So Putin can use Iran’s uranium to threaten bombing his next ‘Ukraine?'”
Now, let me remind you that, despite this “deal,” the Lord is still in control and will take care of both Russia and Iran according to Ezekiel 38 and 39 which I highly recommend you read, as you will see how the Lord takes care of His enemies.
“Wars and rumors of war.” Who said that? Jesus in Matthew 24:6. One of the “signs of the times” He gave us leading up to His return. So, stay tuned, dearly beloved in Christ, and fix your eyes on Jesus (Hebrews 12:2) and not on President Biden (although we should be praying for him (I Timothy 2:1, 2) and get ready for tougher times while watching, waiting, working, witnessing for and walking with Jesus until He comes. And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, c’mon now, simply agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (I Corinthians 15:1-4; John 3:16). Blessings and prayers, Doug (3/26/22)
