Good morning, blog readers, from rainy and warm (69 degrees) Wisconsin where I still haven’t found a safe place to walk, but am still looking for one. Hopefully, I will find one soon and be able to restart my “creature count” for you.

Jesus told His disciples, in Matthew 24:6-8,”You will be hearing of wars and rumors of war. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pains.”

Remember, several years ago, when Russia threatened to invade Ukraine, then invaded Ukraine. Then, more recently, when the United States threatened to bomb Iran, then bombed Iran? These are just some of the most recent “rumors of war” which have turned into “war,” just as Jesus said they would. Look for more of the same to come and worse, as John wrote, in Revelation 6:7, 8: “When the Lamb (Jesus) broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come.” I looked and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth.” In other words, excuse my English, “We ain’t seen nothing yet!” Remember: Jesus is our “blessed hope (Titus 2:13)” Who is coming again to take us out of this mess to our heavenly home. Good morning, blog readers, from hot (76 degrees) and humid Wisconsin where I decided it was not a good day for walking, but a busy day for “moderate” earthquakes around the world in Japan (5.9), Papua New Guinea (5.9), Mexico (5.8), Peru (5.6), Papua New Guinea (5.5), El Salvador (5.4), Brazil (5.3), the Philippines (5.3), the South Sandwich Islands, (5.3), Fiji (5.2), Argentina (5.2) and Iran) (5.1). Jesus said, in Matthew 24: 7, 8: “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes.” He also told His disciples, in Mark 13:33, 35, 37: “Stay on the alert!” Yes, dearly beloved, Jesus is coming! Are you ready? Remember, He will either be your Savior or Judge. My prayer is that He will be your Savior and I will see you in heaven for eternity. Love in Christ, Doug (6/21/25)

Good morning, blog readers, from hot and humid (68 degrees) Wisconsin where I am still trying to figure out where I can walk safely and give you a daily “creature count.”

And, speaking of “counts,” there was this headline from yesterday’s news: “Israel carries out major airstrikes targeting Iran’s nuclear reactor in Arak.” In addition, “On Thursday, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Jassem-al-Budaiwi outlined the latest measures in an interview with the daily Al-Sharq al outlined the latest measures in an interview with the Saudi daily Al-Sharq al-Awsat. The coordination among member states has reached advanced levels to prepare for various emergency scenarios, including those involving chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear weapons,” al-Budaiwi said.”

Certainly, the Lord knows where all of this is going, as He told His disciples, in Mark 13:33, 35 and 37, to “keep on the alert; for you do not know when the appointed time will come.” And, while I believe we will not know the “day or the hour” of the Lord’s return, I believe we may know the “season of His return,” based on the “signs” He gave us in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and warm (63 degrees) Wisconsin where I am still looking for a safe trail to walk on to resume my “creature counts” which, I am told, some of you look forward to.

Jesus told His disciples (then and now), “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of war. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.” I think we would all agree that “war is frightening.” And, I think we would also agree that we will be glad when all the fighting in Israel and around the world stops and the “Prince of Peace,” the Lord Jesus Christ, returns to set up His kingdom. Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and warm (68 degrees) Wisconsin where, over the last 24 hours, according to the USGS, there were: 9 “moderate” (5.3-5.8) quakes in 9 countries and a “strong” (6.0) quake in Japan! Thank You, Lord, for Your patience!

This article, from Dr. Joseph Mercola, really got my attention this morning: “How Political Meddling Threatens Your Health and Medical Freedom.” In the article from May 18, 2025, Dr. Mercola wrote: “Doctors who successfully used early COVID-19 treatments like ivermectin faced severe backlash and censorship from medical and government authorities.

Hospitals repeatedly blocked effective interventions, putting patients at unnecessary risk by ignoring treatments that could have prevented severe illness. Over 38,000 deaths linked to COVID shots were reported in the Vaccine Adverse Event (VAERS) Reporting System, yet health authorities downplayed these numbers. Health care professionals experienced threats to their medical licenses simply for advocating patient-centered treatments and sharing honest clinical results. Taking care of your medical freedom means knowing your rights, documenting your decisions, and actively choosing doctors who prioritize your health over politics.”

Trust in hospitals and health institutions is sharply declining because of how the health care industry has handled the COVID-19 pandemic. From forced treatments to draconic lockdown mandates, people all over the world suffered greatly. Even doctors who figured out effective treatments that helped save lives were vilified for spreading draconic lockdown mandates ‘misinformation.'”

P.S. Yours truly was one of those who suffered from COVID, getting it and then being in a “coma-like” state for 2 weeks when I did not remember a thing. Thankfully, my family surrounded me with love and care during that critical time.

Oh, and one more thing. Dr. Luke, in Luke 21:11, quoted Jesus as saying that one of the “signs” of His return, would be “plagues in various places.” I would encourage you to read Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 where Jesus lists all the “signs” leading up to His return. Then, in Mark 13:33, 35 and 37. He told them to “keep on the alert” which we can do by “watching, waiting, working, witnessing for walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. This morning, I woke to find that there had been a rare (2.9) earthquake in Dacono, Colorado, north of Denver. Remember: Jesus said, in Matthew 24:7 and Mark 13:8 that, one of the “signs” leading up to His return would be: “earthquakes in various places.” He also told His disciples, including us, to “stay on the alert (Mark 13:33, 35, 37).” So, as I have said numerous times before: Let us keep “watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and warm (65 degrees) Wisconsin where I am still trying to find a good and safe place to walk so that I can give you my “creature count.”

In the news, the war between Israel and Iran continues and, I suspect, will continue, until somebody (my guess is Israel) wins.

Also, over the last 24 hours, according to the USGS, there were six “moderate” (5.4-5.9) quakes and one “strong” (6.0) quake. Watch for these to continue and increase in “frequency and intensity” like “birth pains,” as Jesus said they would in Matthew 24:8.

Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and cool (59 degrees) Wisconsin and “Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there!

Now, if you’re like me, you had never heard of “Big Water” before today. According to Wikipedia, It is “a town in Kane County, Utah with a population of 475, as of the 2010 census, up from 417 at the 2010 census” and, where you might have guessed, there was a “minor” (3.2) earthquake today.,

On this “Father’s Day,” I would not only like to “thank God ” for my father whom I never knew, but also my mother who was both a mother and father to my brother and me! And, I would also like to thank God for all the “father figures” in my life, of which, there were many.

And, if you are reading this and you do not know God as your Father and Jesus as your Savior, please agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the Dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16).
