Good morning, blog readers, from rainy and warm (69 degrees) Wisconsin where I still haven’t found a safe place to walk, but am still looking for one. Hopefully, I will find one soon and be able to restart my “creature count” for you.
Jesus told His disciples, in Matthew 24:6-8,”You will be hearing of wars and rumors of war. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pains.”
Remember, several years ago, when Russia threatened to invade Ukraine, then invaded Ukraine. Then, more recently, when the United States threatened to bomb Iran, then bombed Iran? These are just some of the most recent “rumors of war” which have turned into “war,” just as Jesus said they would. Look for more of the same to come and worse, as John wrote, in Revelation 6:7, 8: “When the Lamb (Jesus) broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come.” I looked and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth.” In other words, excuse my English, “We ain’t seen nothing yet!” Remember: Jesus is our “blessed hope (Titus 2:13)” Who is coming again to take us out of this mess to our heavenly home. Glory to God! Love, Doug (6/24/25)
