Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and cool (64 degrees) where, on my morning walk, I saw: 2 deer, 2 robins, and a cardinal! Thank You, Jesus!

Back in the 60’s when I was a teenager, I can remember listening to the radio and hearing the DJ say, “And the hits just keep on coming,” referring to the continuous playing of the most popular songs of that time.

When I “googled” the expression, I also learned it was used to mean that “your problems just keep on coming.” And, interestingly enough (one of my favorite expressions), I also found that, in the movie, ‘A few Good Men,’ Demi Moore tells Tom Cruise, “I’m going to Cuba with you tomorrow. He then sarcastically replies: “And the hits just keep on coming.”

Well, today, I am using the expression “and the hits just keep on coming” in regards to the “rumors of war sign” which Jesus gave us leading up to His return (Matthew 24:6, 7; Mark 13:7, 8; Luke 21:9).

Hear are a few more headlines from today’s news to prove my point:

#1. China sending fighter jets to Thailand for joint exercises (AP)

#2. Russia, Belarus military bases rocked by fire, explosions days after Crimea air base sees destructive blasts (Fox News)

#3. A Deal Will Not Stop the Mullahs (of Iran) from Going Nuclear (The Gatestone Institute)

#4. Concerns grow as Russia launches Iranian satellite into orbit (Jewish News Syndicate)

#5. Putin (Russia) hosts Erdogan (Turkey) for talks on trade, Ukraine, Syria (AP)

What is interesting to me is that all the nations mentioned in the above headlines are referenced in Scripture as “players” in the “end times” (Isaiah 17:1; Ezekiel 38-39 and Revelation 16:12-16).

As my old friend, Arte Johnson, used to say, “Verrrrry interesting!” And, I might add, “prophetic!”

And so, dearly beloved in Christ, let us continue to “fix our eyes on Jesus” (Hebrews 12:2) while we watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. And, if you are still a skeptic and or unbeliever, please know Jesus will either be your Savior or Judge. He will either take you to heaven or put you in hell for eternity. Please know God’s desirers to have you in heaven with Him. So, agree with Him you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). This morning, I saw this headline from EarthSky: “Did giant meteorite create the continents?”

In the article, posted by Kelly Kizer Whitt, Kelly wrote: “Earth has been around for some 4.5 billion years. Our recent history has been quiet, with most meteor ‘strikes’ coming in the form of space dust that filters down through our atmosphere, resulting in fleeting streaks of light in our sky. But during our planet’s first billion years or so, meteorites of all sizes bombarded the young Earth. A team of scientists from Curtin University announced on August 11, 2022, evidence that a giant meteorite impacts on early Earth created the continents we know today.”

What do I believe? I believe: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). Need a second opinion? The apostle Paul wrote, in Colossians 1:13-17: “For He (God) rescued us from the dominion of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son (Jesus), in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. He (Jesus) is the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him (Jesus) all things were created, both in the heavens and on the earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” Amen!

So, let me ask you a question: “Have you been rescued by God the Father from the darkness and been transferred to the kingdom of His beloved Son?” If not, then agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). And now, as a believer in Jesus, join the other believers in the battle for truth by “putting on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-17), denying yourself and taking up your cross and following Jesus today” (Luke 9:23) and until He comes to the glory of God. I have mentioned before that Russia, Iran and Turkey are part of an alliance which will, at some time in the future, perhaps even in our lifetime, invade Israel “to take a spoil,” only to be destroyed by the Lord God Himself (Ezekiel 38 and 39).

And so, the following articles show us that this prophecy is in the process of being fulfilled:

#2. First Ukraine grain deal ship docks in Turkey after Lebanese refused delivery (Reuters)

In the first article, the JNS Staff reported: “Russian authorities on Tuesday oversaw the launch from Kazakhstan of an Iranian satellite, named ‘Khayyam’ into orbit. The launch comes just weeks after Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian leader Ali Khamenei pledged to cooperate against the West.”

In the second article, the Reuters Staff wrote: “The first grain ship to depart from Ukraine under a U.N.-brokered deal docked in Turkey on Thursday after 11 days at sea, Refinitiv data showed, and the ship’s agent in Turkey said it would continue to Egypt after unloading part of its cargo. The Razoni set sail from Ukraine’s Odesa port on August 1 under a deal brokered by the United Nations and Turkey between Russia and Ukraine.” Once again, we see the alliance between Russia and Turkey, both of which are mentioned, among the nations, invading Israel in Ezekiel 38:1-6.

So, stay tuned, dearly beloved in Christ, and keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please get a Bible and read Matthew 24:1-14. Then, watch the news to see if you hear anything about the “signs” Jesus gave us to look for leading up to His return. They are: “False Christs/Messiahs (For example, did you know that Bill Gates considers himself a Messiah who will save the world through vaccinations?), false prophets, miracles, wars and rumors of war, nations against nations (the Greek word here is ethnos which means ethnic or racial wars), kingdoms against kingdoms, famines and earthquakes in various places, persecution of the believers in Jesus, apostasy in the church, that is, so-called “Christians” falling away from their faith in Jesus, an increase in lawlessness and the gospel of the kingdom being preached around the world. Now, as a believer in Jesus with the Holy Spirit living within me, I can see all of these “signs” happening today and every day.

So, if you are not a believer in Jesus, here’s what you need to do: Agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). These headlines sadly got my attention this morning:

#1. War Casualties: 10,000% Increase in Cancer Reports After mRNA Injections (Technocracy News)

#2. China extends military exercises around Taiwan (New York Times)

#3. US pledges $1 billion more rockets, other arms for Ukraine (The Associated Press)

In the first article, the TN Editor reported: “Write them off as war casualties. By any calculation, it is biological warfare because the perpetrators refuse to stop even in the face of massive evidence that their biological agent is killing and maiming innocent civilians. This dark period of world history will be recorded as the largest genocidal event ever. Who will stand for the innocents whose lives are cut short?

A researcher who queried the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC ) Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) discovered a 10,661.1% increase in cancer reports as a result of experimental COVID-19 gene-base vaccines as compared with all FDA-approved vaccines over the last 30 years.”

In the second article, Tiffany May and Mike Ives wrote: “China said Monday that it would hold new drills near Taiwan, a sign the Beijing may keep up the drumbeat of military pressure on the island after conducting its largest-ever exercises in the area in relation for US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit last week.”

In the third article, Ellen Knickmeyer and Lolita C. Baldor reported: “The Biden administration said Monday it was shipping its biggest yet direct delivery of weapons to Ukraine as that country prepares for a potentially decisive counteroffensive in the south against Russia, sending $1 billion in rockets, ammunition, and other material to Ukraine from Defense Department stockpiles. The new US arms shipment would further strengthen Ukraine as it mounts the counteroffensive, which analysts say for the first time could allow Kyiv to shape the course of the rest of the war; now at the half-year mark.”

And Jesus said, in Matthew 24:6, “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of war,” all of which we are now seeing, being fulfilled right before our eyes,. Stay tuned! Personally, I believe (and I could be wrong), based on my study of God’s prophetic word, Russia and her allies will be taken out by God (Ezekiel 38-39); China will be destroyed by the Lord at Armageddon (Revelation 16:12-16; 19:11-21). And, in my opinion (and I could be wrong), I believe America will be weakened or destroyed by God also, perhaps with the help of China.

Regardless of what I believe, God will do what God will do to judge the lost and bring in His kingdom “on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10)!” I can’t wait; but, wait in must, along with waiting, working, witnessing for Jesus, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes.

Good morning, blog readers, from foggy and cool (53 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw 1 deer! Thank You, Jesus!

Today is an Election Day in Wisconsin. And, every time we have an election, I think of Proverbs 16:33 where Solomon wrote: “The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord.” In other words, we vote and God decides the outcome of the election. This falls under the doctrine of the Sovereignty of God which makes me think of Daniel 2:21, 22 where the prophet said: “Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to Him, It is He who changes the times and the epochs (seasons, KJV); He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men of understanding.”

And so, as I said before, “We vote, but God decides the outcome of the election.” Now, you might think, “If God is going to decide the election, “Why vote?” Well, because He said we are to “cast our lot into the lap” (ballot box). Then, the hard part: leaving the results to God which also means that “no one stole the election!”

Then, after we have voted and trusted God for the outcome, we are called by God to pray for our elected officials (I Timothy 2:1-2) where Paul wrote: “First of all, then, I urge that entreaties (supplications, KJV) and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings (presidents, governors, state and local senators and representatives, etc.) and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.”

So, my prayer for you today is that you will vote and leave the results to God. Then, thank God for His choices and, more importantly, pray for their salvation (I Timothy 2:3, 4) if they are lost and for their sanctification if they are saved. And, remember: We are are saved solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ, His death, burial and resurrection and not by works of any kind (Ephesians 2:8, 9; I Corinthians 15:1-4). Recently, I watched a podcast (which I would highly recommend) by a friend (Britt Gillette) who said he believed World War III had already begun. While I am not as knowledgeable as he is about world events in relation to Bible prophecy, I do believe we are certainly headed toward World War III, as evidenced by the following headlines:

#1. Putin (of Russia) hosts Erdogan (of Turkey) for talks on trade, Ukraine and Syria (AP)

#2. Putin visits Iran on first trip outside former Soviet Union since Ukraine war (Reuters)

#3. The Growing Threat from North Korea (Gatestone Institute)

#4. Iran nuclear talks resume in Vienna as Tehran expands enrichment (AP)

#5. Taiwan scrambles its fighter jets as Chinese war planes conduct simulated attack (The Insider)

As I have said before, I believe (and I could be wrong), according to Isaiah 17:1, the city of Damascus, Syria will be totally destroyed.

President Erdogan of Turkey and the leader of Russia (Gog), perhaps Vladimir Putin, along with Iran, Sudan, Libya and the “stan” nations will invade Israel to “take a spoil” and be destroyed by the Lord God Himself (Ezekiel 38 and 39).

China, North Korea, the other “kings of the east” and surviving nations will be destroyed at Armageddon (Revelation 16:12-16).

Then, glory to God, Jesus will come, judge the nations and set up His glorious kingdom on earth (Matthew 25:31-46) of which, I will be a part, all because of Jesus Who died on a cross for my sins, was buried and raised from the dead to forgive all my (your) sins and give us eternal life (John 3:16).

My prayer is that you will be a part of Jesus’ glorious kingdom on earth and a citizen of heaven for eternity by God’s grace through faith in Christ, His death, burial and resurrection (I Corinthians 15:1-4) and not by works (Ephesians 2:8, 9) which includes: baptism, communion, confirmation, church membership, prayer, giving of money, etc.). Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Jesus is coming! Are you ready? And, are you watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. This headline, from Prophecy News Watch, recently caught my eye: “Disturbing Symbolism As Commonwealth Games Recreate Worship of Baal!”

Michael Snyder wrote: “They aren’t even trying to hide it anymore. During the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England on July 28th a giant mechanical bull with glowing red eyes was rolled out into the center of Alexander Stadium. The bull was approximately 10 meters high, and it took more than five months to build. It had been given the nickname ‘Raging Bull,’ and it absolutely dwarfed all of the human participants that were involved in the performance.

The ‘hero’ of the opening ceremony, a character known as Stella, calmed the creature down and then all the human performers gathered around the giant bull and literally began to bow down and worship it. I have seen a lot of really weird things in recent years, but I have never seen anything like this. A total of 72 nations participate in the Commonwealth Games, and so this opening ceremony was being viewed on countless TV screens all over the planet.”

Wow! How sad, but, certainly prophetic, as the apostle John tells us, in Revelation 13:1-6, “And the dragon (Satan) stood on the sand of the seashore. Then I (John) saw a beast (the antichrist) coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names. And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority. I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast.”

Here we see Satan doing his usual thing of opposing Christ and deceiving the world into thinking the so-called “antichrist ” is God. As we read a little further in Revelation, John introduces us to “another beast,” aka, “the false prophet” who “exercises all the authority of the first beast and makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed” (13:11, 12).

When I watched the video of this “raging bull” opening the Commonwealth Games, it reminded me of the coming “beast” or beasts” which will, at first, wow much of the world (verses 3-14), but then, will rule over the world with an iron fist with the death penalty for all who resist them (verses 15-17).

So, let me ask you a question: “Are you looking for Jesus Christ or the antichrist? Let me remind you that Jesus is the only One Who can save you from your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Satan (aka, the devil) will lead you straight into hell for eternity. So please, if you haven’t already done so, agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). And, if you are a believer in Jesus, please take seriously God’s desire to sanctify us, that is, to “grow us in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (II Peter 3:18),” as we watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. Good morning, blog readers, from mostly sunny and warm (71 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 3 robins, a bunny, a cardinal and the planet Venus shining brightly! Thank You, Jesus!

This recent (8/2/22) headline, from the Associated Press, caught my eye this morning: “World one step from ‘nuclear annihilation,’ UN chief warns.”

In the article, Edith M Lederer reported: “Secretary-General Antonio Guterres sounded the alarm over the war in Ukraine, nuclear threats in Asia and the Middle East, and other tensions, warning that ‘humanity is just one step away from nuclear annihilation.'”

So, what do I believe? I believe the One Who is the Way, and the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6): Jesus Who told His disciples, in Matthew 24:6, that, before His return, “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of war.” Case in point: Before the war between Russia and Ukraine began, Russia was threatening to invade Ukraine. Several months later, Russia went to war with Ukraine. Hence, a “rumor of war” which turned into a “war” which continues to this day with no end in sight.

I would encourage you, if you haven’t already done so, read Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 where Jesus describes in detail the “signs” leading up to His return. And, let me remind you, I have written a book about the “signs” called “Birth Pains: An Introduction to Bible Prophecy” which is available on Amazon or from me for $10.

Yes, dearly beloved in Christ, Jesus is coming! So, let us “fix our eyes on Him” (Hebrews 12:2) and keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. The following headlines not only continue to show us how dangerous the world has become, but also that Jesus is coming! Here are some of the headlines which may have prophetical significance:

#1. Iran nuclear talks resume in Vienna as Tehran expands enrichment (AP).

#2. The Growing Threat from North Korea (Gatestone Institute)

#3. Secretary of State Blinken: China Military drills are ‘significant escalation.’ (AP)

#4. The Culling of Humanity Is Set to Accelerate: Doctors and Politicians Remain Silent (Technocracy News and Trends)

Now, if you are like me, you have no idea what the word “culling” means. So, I looked it up in my Webster’s New World College Dictionary (Fourth Edition) and learned the word “cull” means “to discard or destroy unwanted parts.” Note: Sounds like abortion and vaccines, among others.

Leo Hohmann (Technocracy News and Trends), reported in his article from 8/4/22: “Ignorant fact checkers, essentially professional trolls, deny that there is any plan for depopulation of civilization, but the facts and words state otherwise. We are experiencing a mass genocide event right before our eyes, prosecuted by unelected and unaccountable Technocrats scattered around the world.”

VAERS data from December 14, 2020, to July 22, 2022, shows 12,232 adverse events in 5-11-year- olds, including 313 ‘serious’ cases and 9 deaths. The database also lists 24 cases of heart inflammation, 47 cases of blood clotting disorders, and 101 reports of seizures in the same age group. Readers of this website know that VAERS doesn’t begin to tell the whole story. The deaths and disabling injuries listed there only represent 1% of the actual numbers due to the propensity of doctors to not report most of the devastation they see being crushed by their partners in Big Pharma. Taken together from nations around the world, these deaths by injection will add up to a genocide of untold magnitude, a mass culling that fulfills the purposes of a Malthusian (population control) clan of global elites.”

Wow! How sad! And, how evil! And, it’s happening right before our eyes. And, only a small minority of the population knows about this or even cares. If you dare, read Revelation 6-19 and see for yourself what God will do to those who continue to reject Jesus as their only Savior and Lord (God). But, there’s good news: You still have time to agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Sadly, but not surprisingly, because of what Jesus’ said, in Matthew 24:6, I am reading more of these headlines:

#2. Jewish News Syndicate: ‘Alarm bells’ in Israel over China aid that could up Syria’s intel capabilities (Isaiah 17:1)

#3. The Associated Press: World one step from ‘nuclear annihilation,’ UN chief warns (Revelation 6:8; 9:12-21)

#4. The Jerusalem Post: Iran says it will ‘build nuclear warheads’ and turn NY into ‘hellish ruins’ (Ezekiel 38-39)

#5. Prophecy News Watch: With China, Biden Has Put U.S. in Most Dangerous Moment Since WWII (Revelation 16:12)

#6. Reuters: China fired multiple missiles around Taiwan as it launched unprecedented military drills (a day after a visit by U.S. Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Revelation 16:12)

#7. Gatestone Institute: EU: Last-Ditch Effort to Salvage Iran Nuclear Deal (Ezekiel 38, 39)

Oh, one more item which bears watching: Over the last 24 hours, according to the USGS, there were another 5 “moderate” (5.0-5.7) earthquakes (1 in Nicaragua and 4 in Japan) and a “minor” (3.2) quake, 5km SSE of Black Diamond, Washington (population: 4,151) as of 2010, about 25 miles SE of Seattle (population: 608,660, as of 2010).

Lots of news and mostly sad or bad news from around the world and here in the U.S. And, while many Christians believe a great revival is coming, the Bible would indicate otherwise with a time of apostasy or falling away from the faith which we are now seeing today which means the so-called “Tribulation” is getting closer every day. And, according to Revelation 7:4-17, the next great revival will come during the Tribulation when 144,000 Jewish evangelists go out into the world, preaching the gospel of the kingdom which results in “a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands; and they cry out with a loud voice, ‘Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb (Jesus).” And, while we, as Christians, wait for Jesus to come, we are not to be afraid because the Lord is always with us (Matthew 28:20) and will see us through on our way to glory.

And so, our assignment is the same: Watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please know God loves you and wants you to spend eternity with Him. But, you need to swallow your pride and agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16).
