Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and warm (68 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: 7 deer and, I think, a hawk!

This recent headline, posted by John and Nisha Whitehead of the Rutherford Institute on Technocracy News and Trends, really got my attention: “Whitehead: Who Will Protect Us From Government’s Standing Army?”

The Whiteheads reported: “On Thursday, August 20, 2022, President Biden laid bare the government threat: ‘And for those brave right-wing Americans who say it’s all about keeping Americans independent and safe, you want to fight against the country? You need an F-15, you need something a little more than a gun?’ The radical left-wing is clearly baiting conservatives into a violent confrontation – The TN Editor

James Madison once said: “A standing military force, with an overgrown Executive will not long be safe companions to liberty.”

Check this out: “The IRS has stockpiled 4,500 guns and five million rounds of ammunition in recent years, including 621 shotguns, 539 long-barrel rifles and 15 submachine guns. The VA (Veterans Administration) purchased 11 million rounds of ammunition (equivalent to 2,800 rounds of ammunition for each of their officers), along with camouflage uniforms, riot helmets and shields, specialized image enhancement devices and tactical lighting.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) acquired 4 million rounds of ammunition, in addition to 1,300 guns, including five submachine guns and 189 automatic firearms for its Office of Inspector General. According to an in-depth report on “The Militarization of the U.S. Executive Agencies,” the Social Security Administration secured 800,000 rounds of ammunition for their special agents, as well as armor and guns. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) owns 600 guns. And the Smithsonian now employs 620-armed ‘special agents.'”

And Jesus said, in Matthew 24:6, “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of war; see that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.” Note: This is indeed “scary stuff,” especially when it seems as though this could lead to another civil war on American soil.

So, dearly beloved in Christ, “fix your eyes on Him (Hebrews 12:2), while watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Him until He comes. Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and cool (61 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw: a dog! Thank You, Jesus!

This headline, from Technocracy News and Trends, really got my attention this morning: “Steve Bannon: ‘Jared Kushner Is Transhumanist, Rushed ‘Experimental Gene Therapy/Vaccine’ in Bid For Immortality.”

The TNT staff reported: “Jared Kushner clearly identifies himself as a Transhumanist who seeks immortality through science, and it is now clear why he should get the major credit for railroading Operation Warp Speed in a quest to accelerate H+, or Human 2.0. Transhumanism is the most dangerous religion the world has ever known. Former Trump White House adviser and campaign manager (Bannon) tore into his one-time West Wing colleague Jared Kushner on Friday after Kushner said he believed he might ‘live forever.'”

Kushner said: “From the last year, the one thing I’ve tried to put a priority on since I left the White House was, you know, getting some exercise in. I think that there is a good possibility that my generation is, hopefully with the advances in science, either the first generation to live forever, or the last generation that’s going to die. So, we need to keep ourselves in pretty good shape.”

Wow! And, how sad! Despite what Jared Kushner said, Jesus said, in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” And, in II Thessalonians 1:6-10, the apostle Paul wrote: “For after all it is only just for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you, and to give relief to you who are afflicted and to us as well when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. And these will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes to be glorified in His saints on that day, and to be marveled at among all who have believed – for our testimony to you was believed.”

The choice is yours: Eternal life or eternal destruction. But, there’s good news: Jesus died for our sins, was buried and raised from the dead to forgive all our sins and give us eternal life (I Corinthians 15:1-4; John 3:16). Praying I’ll see you in heaven. Blessings, Doug (9/1/22)

In the first article, Dr. Joseph Mercola wrote: “August 11, 2022, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reversed its COVID-19 guidelines, thereby vindicating every ‘misinformation spreader’ out there. The CDC is now advocating for taking personal responsibility and for everyone to decide for themselves ‘which prevention behaviors to use and when (at all times or at specific times), based on their own risk for severe illness and that of members of their household, their risk tolerance, and setting-specific factors.’ Now, for the bad news: “The CDC’s about-face appears to be politically motivated, to give the Biden administration a ‘win’ before the midterm elections. Post-election plans include ‘the biggest vaccination campaign in history,’ so tyrannical overreaches may later resume, even as mounting data show the COVID shots are causing depopulation.”

In the second article, Khaled Abu Toameh of the Gatestone Institute, reported: “The mullahs appear convinced that once the Biden administration capitulates completely to their demands for reviving the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, they will be able to step up their already significant effort to eliminate Israel and export their Islamic Revolution to Arab and Islamic countries. Iran already occupies four countries: Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq.”

And, in the third article, the Technocracy News and Trends staff wrote on 8/30/22, “When I was a young financial analyst in 1978, I met Antony Sutton at a gold conference in New Orleans. It took us about 30 minutes to realize that the Trilateral Commission was in the process of hijacking the entire Administration of the newly elected President, James Earl Carter. Founded by David Rockefeller and Zbigniew Brzezinski, the Commission openly and repeatedly stated that it wanted to create a ‘New International Order.’ But there is another side of the story that is much darker, presenting a clear and present danger to our Republic: Technocracy. Some of the distinctives of Technocracy include: Elimination of private property, and wealth accumulation, replacing traditional education with workforce training, micromanaging all energy distribution and consumption, driving people to live in a limited number of cities and off of rural land and enforcing a balance between nature’s resources and man’s consumption of them.”

And yet, despite all this “bad news,” there is “good news” – Jesus is coming and will eventually set up His kingdom on earth. As my friend Carl would say: “Yeah!”

Certainly the above articles and the Bible indicate there are rough days ahead for this world. And, though I believe in a “pre-trib Rapture,” I also believe we still may be around for tougher times. So, we need to be prepared. Jesus told His disciples (then and now) three times in Mark 13:33, 35 and 37, “Be on the alert!” And so, we are to watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. Here are some headlines from this morning news which caught my prophetical eye:

In the first article, Dr. Joseph Mercola wrote: “United Kingdom vaccine regulatory administrators quietly removed pregnant and breastfeeding women from its recommendations for the COVID-19 shots – almost two weeks ago. Yet, at the same time, a different arm of the U.K. government, the National Health Service, is still promoting the shots as safe ‘at any stage of pregnancy.’ However, Norman Fenton, professor of risk information management in London also reported: ” It is considered that sufficient reassurance of safe use of the vaccine in pregnant women cannot be provided at this time. … Women who are breastfeeding should also not be vaccinated.”

In the second article, Judith Bergman wrote: “China’s military researchers are threatening that Musk’s Starlink satellites must be destroyed. The problem, however, does not appear so much to be the fear of collision, but rather that China believes Starlink could be used for military purposes and thereby threaten what China calls its national security.”

In the third article, the israelAM staff wrote: “Satellite images confirm that an alleged strike in Syria last week hit a giant arms depot housing about 1,000 precision-guided middle-range missiles for Iran-backed fighters. The images show widespread destruction at the facility.”

And, in the fourth article, the AP and IHL Staff reported: “Washington warned Tehran not to ship the drones that could potentially be used against Ukrainian targets.”

Remember, Jesus said, in Matthew 24:6, Mark 13:7 and Luke 21:9 that, before His return, “there will be wars and rumors of war.” And so, in the above headlines we first see: an ongoing “vaccine war” which has now injured and killed millions, perhaps even billions, around the world, a potential “star war” between the U.S. and China, a war between Israel and Syria which, according to Isaiah 17:1, could result in the total destruction of Damascus, and the so-called “Gog and Magog” war between Russia, Iran, Turkey, Libya and a host of other nations against Israel which, despite being totally defenseless, she will win when the Lord God Himself comes to Israel’s defense and destroys Russia and her allies (Ezekiel 38-39) which, as I have said before, we may actually see in our lifetime.

So, let us, dear brothers and sisters in Christ, continue to watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please, I beg you, agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) Who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). This headline, from a recent article in the Defender, was very disturbing: “WEF: ‘Solid, Rational Reasons’ to Implant Microchips in Kids!”

In the article, Michael Nevradakis, Ph.D. wrote: “Claiming ‘augmented reality technology has the ability to transform society and individual lives,’ the World Economic Forum (WEF) recently suggested there are ‘solid, rational and ethical reasons to consider implanting children with microchips.

According to an article published this month on the WEF website, “Implant technologies could become the norm in the future and they form part of a natural evolution that wearables once underwent.” The article’s author, Kathleen Philips said: “There are compelling arguments in favor of microchipping humans. For example, implant technologies could supplant the role currently played by ingestible pharmaceutical products, could help dyslexic children or could ‘sniff out’ food allergens or illnesses such as COVID-19.” Philips continued: “While ‘superheroes’ have been dominating big and small screens for a while, nowadays, many children expect to develop superpowers themselves.”

This sounds a lot to me like the “mark of the beast” technology the apostle John wrote about in Revelation 13. Check it out and see what you think.

And, here’s another, perhaps prophetical, headline from yesterday’s Jewish News Syndicate: “UN’s Mideast point man sounds alarm about Hezbollah activity near Israel’s northern border.” Mike Wagenheim reported: “At the monthly U.N. Security Council meeting on the Israeli-Palestinian file, the U.N.’s Special Envoy for the Middle East Peace Process, Tor Wennesland warned about increasing Hezbollah activity on Israel’s northern border.” Note: Check out Psalm 83 where, according to Bill Salus, in his book, “Nuclear Showdown in Iran,” the following nations will, at sometime in the future, “attempt to wipe Israel off the map” (verse 4): Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, the Palestinians, Hamas, Hezbollah, and possibly Al Qaeda (verses 5-8). Stay tuned, as I believe (and I could be wrong), this war may very well occur in our lifetime.

This headline from Israel Hayom caught my “prophetical eye” this morning: “Russian procurement of Iranian drones complicates nuclear talks.” In the article, the AP and ILH Staff reported: “Russia has obtained hundreds of Iranian drones capable of being used in its war against Ukraine, despite US warnings to Tehran not to ship them, according to Western intelligence officials.

It’s unclear whether Russia has begun flying the drones against Ukrainian targets, but the drones appear to be operational and ready to use, said the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive intelligence. The reported shipment marks the latest sign of what appears to be closer military ties between the longtime allies. It also underscores warnings from critics of the ongoing negotiations for Iran to resume its compliance with the 2015 nuclear deal that the United States left in 2018. An agreement for Iran and the US to return to the deal, which would grant Iran billions of dollars in sanctions relief in return for curbs on its nuclear program, is inching forward.”

As I have said before, based on the prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39, Russia, Iran and a host of other nations will, at some time in the future, be drawn by God to invade Israel “to capture spoil and to seize plunder” (verse 12) with only a “mild protest” from “Sheba, Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish” (verse 13) which most scholars believe are: Saudi Arabia, Western Europe and possibly the United States (verse 13).

So, what does today’s headline have to do with Ezekiel 38-39? Notice: Today, Russia and Iran are allies and enemies of Israel and the United States. At some time in the future, perhaps even in our lifetime, the Lord will draw Russia and her allies away from one war (Ukraine?) to invade Israel to get something she and her allies need and/or want. And, just when it looks like Israel is doomed, the Lord God Himself intervenes and destroys Russia and her allies. Glory to God!

Yes, dearly beloved in Christ, Jesus is coming! Are you ready? Are you excited? We should be both ready and excited by watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, don’t put it off; you might not have another day or minute or second. And, then, your eternity in hell is secured. Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and cool (54 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk, I saw a shooting star and heard the hoot of an owl!

Two days ago, I wrote my blog about Vera Sharav, a Holocaust Survivor, who recently gave a speech in Nuremberg, Germany, warning the world of “another Holocaust-in-the making.” Sharav said: “Since the Nazi era, the study of history and most of the humanities – including philosophy, religion and ethics – have been overshadowed by an emphasis on utilitarian science and technology.

As a result, few people recognize foreboding similarities between current policies and those under the Nazi regime. By declaring a state of emergency – in 1933 and in 2020, constitutionally protected personal freedom, legal rights, and civil rights were swept aside. Repressive, discriminatory decrees followed. In 1933, the primary target for discrimination were Jews; today, the target is people who refuse to be injected with experimental, genetically engineered vaccines. Then and now, government dictates were crafted to eliminate segments of the population. In 2020, government dictates forbade hospitals from treating the elderly in nursing homes. The result was: mass murder.”

Sharav continued: “Government decrees continue to forbid doctors to prescribe life-saving, FDA-approved medicines; government-dictated protocols continue to kill. The media is silent – as it was then. The media broadcasts a single, government-dictated narrative- just as it had under the Nazis. Strict censorship silences opposing views. In Nazi Germany, few individuals objected; those who did were imprisoned in concentration camps.

Today, doctors and scientists who challenge the approved narrative are maligned; their reputations trashed. They risk losing their license to practice as well as having their homes and workplace raided by SWAT teams.” Sadly, the atrocities of Nazi Germany are being repeated today.

Thank you, Vera, for having the courage to speak up and warn the world of what and who is coming. Those of us who follow Jesus and His prophetic word, know that Satan (aka, the devil) rules this world (II Corinthians 4:4) and will send the so-called “antichrist” to take over this world, that is, until the Lord Jesus Christ returns to defeat and destroy Satan, his demons and followers, and cast them into hell for eternity (Revelation 19:11-20:15) while the believers in Jesus enjoy their eternity in a “new heaven and a new earth (Revelation 21-22).” I can’t wait! But, wait I must, along with the other “ws” – watching, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes.

This morning’s headline, from Dr. Joseph Mercola, really got my attention: “CDC Backtracks on COVID Guidance as Damning Studies Mount.”

Wow! The U. S. government admitting they were wrong about COVID-19. But, don’t get too excited because Dr. Mercola adds: “The CDC’s about-face appears to be politically motivated, to give the Biden administration a ‘win’ before the mid-term elections. Post-election plans include ‘ the biggest vaccination campaign in history,’ so tyrannical overreaches may later resume, even as mounting data show the COVID-shots are causing depopulation” which, by the way, is one of the goals of the World Economic Forum (WEF).

Let me remind you from Scripture (John 8:44) that Jesus said of the leaders of His day: “You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature; for he is a liar and the father of lies.” On the other hand, Jesus said of Himself, in John 14:6, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.”

Until Jesus comes, let us continue to watch, wait, work, witness for, walk with and worship Jesus until He comes. And, let us also keep loving and praying for the salvation of our unsaved loves ones. Blessings and prayers, Doug (8/26/22)

Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and rainy (64 degrees) Wisconsin where, on my morning walk in a heavy rain with an umbrella, I did not see any of God’s creatures!

If you’re like me, you have never heard of Vera Sharav who, according to Technocracy News and Trends, is a Holocaust Survivor, a Public Advocate for Human Rights and Founder and President of the Alliance for Human Research Protection.” Recently (August 20, 2022), she gave a speech in Nuremberg, Germany, warning the world of another “Holocaust” in-the-making which Vera says we not only need to be aware of, but also take action to stop it from happening again.

Vera said: “These past 2 and 1/2 years have been especially stressful – as painful memories were rekindled. In 1941, I was 3 and 1/2 when my family was forced from our home in Romania and deported to Ukraine. We were herded in a concentration camp – essentially left to starve. Death was ever-present. My father died of typhus when I was five. In 1944, as the Final Solution was being aggressively implemented, Romania retreated from its alliance with Nazi Germany. The government permitted several hundred Jewish orphans under the age of 12 to return to Romania. I was not an orphan; my mother lied to save my life.

I boarded a cattle-car train – the same train that continued to transport Jews to the death camps – even as Germany was losing the war. Four years elapsed before I was reunited with my mother.

The Holocaust serves as the archetypal symbol of unmitigated evil: Moral norms and human values were systematically obliterated. The Nazi system destroyed the social conscience. Millions of people were worked to death as slave laborers.

The Holocaust did not begin in the gas chambers of Auschwitz and Treblinka. The Holocaust was preceded by 9 years of incremental restrictions on personal freedom and the suspension of legal rights and civil rights. The stage was set by fear-mongering and hate-mongering propaganda. A series of humiliating, discriminating government edicts demonized Jews as ‘spreaders of disease.’ We were compared to lice.

The real viral disease that infected Nazi Germany is Eugenics – the elitist ideology at the root of all genocides. Eugenics is cloaked in a mantle of pseudo-science. It was embraced by the academic and medical establishment as well as the judiciary in Germany and the United States.

Eugenicists justify social and economic inequality. They legitimize discrimination, apartheid, euthanasia, and genocide. The Nazis called it “ethic cleansing” – for the protection of the gene pool. Medicine was perverted from its healing mission and was weaponized. First, it was to control reproduction through forced sterilization; then it was to eliminate those deemed to be ‘sub-human’ – Untermenschen. The first victims of medical murder were 1,000 disabled children up to age 17. The next victims were the mentally ill; they were followed by the elderly in nursing homes. All of these human beings were condemned as ‘worthless eaters.’ Under Operation T-4, designated hospitals became killing stations where various extermination methods were tested including Zyclon B – the gas that was used in the death camps.” Note: To be continued, Lord willing, tomorrow.

Question: “Can you see the similarities between Nazi Germany and life in a worldwide pandemic which was orchestrated by the “richest of the rich” and the so-called “scientific experts” not to save life, but to kill off life to reduce the population and create a “perfect world.”

Now, for those of us who are “born-again” believers in Jesus who know something about Bible prophecy, particularly Daniel 9:27, we know that, before Jesus returns to the earth to set up His kingdom, the so-called “Antichrist” (AC) will sign a seven-year “peace treaty” with “the many” in Israel which may just allow the Jews to rebuild their temple in Jerusalem. After 3 and 1/2 years, the AC will break his treaty with Israel, go into the Jewish temple in Jerusalem, stop the temple sacrifices and declare to the world that he alone is God to be worshipped with the death penalty for all those who resist him (Revelation 13).

So, the question is: “Are you looking for the Antichrist or Jesus Christ? And, would you know the difference between the two of them?” Jesus said, in Matthew 24:24, that, before His return, “false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.” Discernment of the spirits is so important in these prophetic times in which we live. So, dearly beloved in Christ, keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. The third article, according to the TNN Staff, “has to do with ‘augmentation technology’ to morph humans into cyborgs and recommends children be implanted with brain chips. The brain chips will not only improve health by eradicating impairments like learning disabilities and depression, but pave the way for humans to attain superhuman capacities, contends an August 16 article published on the WEF website.” This could pave the way for the “mark of the beast” technology which the apostle John wrote about in Revelation 13.

I personally believe (and I could be wrong) we may live to see the first two prophecies fulfilled. So, dearly beloved in Christ, “be on the alert” (Mark 13:31, 33, 35) and keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. And, if you are not a believer in Jesus, please, agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16).
