Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and warm (70 degrees) Wisconsin where I still haven’t found a place to walk but am still looking for one and will let you know when I do to restart my “creature count.”

Today, over the last 24 hours, according to the USGS, there was a “strong” (6.6) quake in Argentina and 13 “moderate” (5.0-5.6) quakes in Bolivia, the Carlsberg Ridge Region, Chile, Fiji, Indonesia (2), Japan (5.4, 5.5, 5.6), the Pacific Atlantic Ridge Region, Tonga and Vanuatu. We should be thankful that most of these quakes are “moderates (5.0-5.9)” and not “strongs” (6.0-6.9) or “greats,” (7.0+), though they are coming, according to Revelation 6:12, 11:13, 16:18.

Jesus, in Mark 13:33, 35, 37, told His disciples to “stay on the alert” which we can do by watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, walking with and worshiping Jesus until He comes. And yes, He is coming! Are you ready? I’d like to think I am. So, let me ask you: “If you were to die today, would you be 100% sure you will go to heaven, not based on any “good works,” but only by the grace of God through faith in Christ, His death, burial and resurrection (Ephesians 2:8, 9; I Corinthians 15:1-4). Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and hot (81 degrees) Wisconsin where, according to the USGS, the ground around the world continues to quake & shake with a “strong” (6.6) earthquake in Argentina and 7 “moderate” (5.6, 5.6, 5.5, 5.5, 5.4, 5.5, 5.4), quakes in Japan, Bolivia, Fiji, Tonga and the South Sandwich Islands. Jesus told His disciples, in Mark 13:33, 35, 37: “Stay on the alert.”

Yes, dear believers and unbelievers, Jesus is coming! And, if you don’t believe me, check out the “signs” He gave us in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. Then, watch the news to see if the “signs” He gave us line up with what He said would happen before His return. And, if they do, then don’t waste any time, agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and warm (64 degrees) Wisconsin where I still haven’t figured out a walking trail, but am still looking for one so that I can give you my “creature count.”

Over the last 24 hours, according to the USGS and Jerry Lee Lewis, there has been “a whole lot of shaking going on” in places like Argentina where there was a “strong”(6.6) quake and the Philippines where there was a “strong” (6.1 quake)! In addition, over the last 24 hours, there have also been 18 “moderate” (5.0-5.6) quakes in Chile, Fiji, Indonesia, Japan, Pakistan and Tonga. So, “stay on the alert” (Mark 13:33, 35, 37) and watch for more of the same and larger quakes, as we get closer to the Lord’s return. And, if you are still not a believer in Jesus, why not become one today, right now, by agreeing with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Good morning, blog readers, from partly sunny/partly cloudy with rain on the way and 69 degrees Wisconsin where I learned of a new place for an earthquake (Coahoma, Texas): population: 945, as of the 2020 census and where, over the last 24 hours, there was a “minor” (2.5 earthquake). You just never know where these quakes are going to be. And, when Jesus said, in Matthew 24:7, there would be “earthquakes in various places,” He wasn’t kidding! And, if you want to know more about significant “earthquakes in different places” over the last 24 hours, there were 4 “strong” quakes in Argentina (6.6), the Philippines (6.2, 6.1),the Mid-Atlantic Ridge Region (6.2) and 7 “moderate” (5.7, 5.7, 5.5, 5.4, in the Dominican Republic, Japan (5.4, 5.2), Pakistan (5.3), the Solomon Islands and Tonga (5.5).

So, as Jesus reminded His disciples, in Mark 13:33, 35, 37, to “stay on the alert,” so I remind you to do the same because He is coming and, maybe, just maybe, sooner than later. Love, Doug (6/30/25)

Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and warm (70 degrees) Wisconsin where, over the last 24 hours, according to the USGS, there were 6 “moderate” (5.0-5.9) and 4 “strong” (6.0-6.9 earthquakes in places like Alaska, Argentina, the Dominican Republic, Guam, Guatemala India, Indonesia, Japan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines and the South Mid-Atlantic Ridge Region.

Now, those of you who have been following my blogs for some 20+ years may be wondering: “When are the “big ones” coming? Answer: “I don’t know for sure, but I do know, based on what Jesus said in Luke 21:11, they are coming and will be devastating. Check out Revelation 6:12, 11:13 and 16:18 to see for yourself.

In the meantime, let me ask you: “Do you agree with God you are a sinner who needs a Savior Who is Jesus (Romans 3:23, 24) and believe He died on a cross for your sins, was buried and raised from the dead (I Corinthians 15:1-4) to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life (John 3:16)? Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and warm (63 degrees) Wisconsin where I still haven’t found a place to walk, but did record 6 earthquakes of note, thanks to the USGS: a 6.6 in the Scotia Sea, a 6.1 in the Philippines, a 5.5 in Tonga, a 5.2 in Alaska, a 5.1 in Russia, and a 5.0 in India.

Remember, Jesus said that the “signs” of His return would come like “birth pains,” (Matthew 24:8), that is, increasing in frequency and intensity until He comes. Good morning, blog readers, from cloudy and warm (71 degrees) Wisconsin where I still haven’t found a good and safe place to walk, but will keep scouting the neighborhood until I do.

Now, if you’re like me, you had never heard of Grandin before. It is a small town on the Mississippi River in Missouri (population: 243, as of 2020 where, this morning, there was a “minor” (2.9) earthquake. Note: Anytime there is earthquake activity on or near the Mississippi River makes me think of the New Madrid Fault Line where, in 1811-1812, there were some of the largest earthquakes America has ever seen, ringing church bells in Boston and reversing the course of the Mississippi River and ringing church bells in Boston. So, “stay on the alert,” as Jesus said in Mark 13:33, 35, 37 and keep watching, waiting, working, witnessing for, worshiping and walking with Jesus until He comes. Good morning, blog readers, from sunny and warm (70 degrees) Wisconsin where, over the last 24 hours, thanks to the USGS, I was able to record: 3 “strong” (6.2) earthquakes in the Philippines, the Mid-Atlantic Region, a “strong” (6.0) quake in Japan and 8 “moderate” (5.2 5.3, 5.4, 5.7) quakes in the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guam, India, Japan, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, the Solomon Islands and Tonga. And Jesus said, in Matthew 24:7, 8: “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes.” Jesus also said, in Matthew 24:8: “But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pains.”

Now, I could be wrong, but I am thinking we are still in what I am calling the “first trimester of the birth pains” which will increase in frequency and intensity over time until Jesus returns. And Jesus told His disciples, in Mark 13:33, 35, 37: “Stay on the alert!”

Good morning, blog readers, from 66 degrees Wisconsin, where the temperatures have cooled from the 90s to the 60s! Thank You, Lord!

As many of you who read my blogs know, I love to chart earthquakes, mainly because they are one of the “signs” Jesus gave us leading up to His return in Matthew 24:7, Mark 13:8 and Luke 21:11.

Jesus also told us, in Luke 21:11, that there would be “great earthquakes” before His return which, according to the USGS, would be those of a magnitude 8.0+. And, as I have noted before, the USGS generally records these “greats” to occur about once/year.

And, remember, Jesus also told us that the “signs,” including earthquakes, leading up to His return, would come like “birth pains” (Matthew 24:8), increasing in frequency and intensity, as we get closer to His return.
